Definitely worth the wait! Due to weather and perhaps other reasons, I had to wait about 10 months to have this work done. During that time, communication was sparse which made me worry if the project was ever going to be done. However, it did happen and I am extremely pleased with the results. In fact, more work was done than I even expected! The crew was very courtesy and the operations manager was responsive. Definitely will consider Garrett again when I ready to have my back patio repaired.

I've used Garrett for the past 2+ seasons to perform weekly mowing, edging, and bush trimming. I've added projects such as tree removal, bed redesign, and sprinkler repair. All of the above have been performed extremely well and without incident. On top of that, Steve is a great person to work with, I highly recommend their service.

It went great. I received an estimate by email, hired the company by email, communicated by email the date the work would start and received my bill by email. Very easy! Someone came out to go over the plan and came during the job and when it was finished. No problems and very reliable. Refreshing to have someone answer the phone and actually finish a job without nagging or excuses! I hired this company for my weekly lawn care.

Below this summary I am going to give the exact details of my communications with this company. Mostly the issues lie with a failure to respond timely with estimates and to respond at all. They will literally tell you how there are only 4 of them and sometimes they are all out of the office at the same time and no one is answering the phones. I own a small business and the first investment and best investment you can make is an office person who can view schedules, talk to customers and promptly answer the phone. Garrett has been in business since 1992 and they still claim they can't do this. It took them 15 days from first contact to get me an estimate and Steve, their estimate person must think emails are gold because he never sends them. See the exact interaction and see if you are interested in hiring this company. As per usual you call and schedule a quote. Steve came out to quote my job and give me an estimate. He said he would call after viewing my property he did not. For all I knew he never actually showed up and looked at my property. I sent a message on Angie's list April 26th " Apr 26, 7:56pm You wrote: Hello, steve hasnt gotten to me with a estimate yet. Did something happen?" The response the next day "GARRETT LANDSCAPE GROUP wrote: Hi Shawn, It does take a couple of days to create an estimate. I see he was at your property yesterday. He should have it to you by next week at the latest. Thank you, Garrett Landscape Group" Steve Finally gets me an email with an invoice on May 1st asking me to look over the estimate> May 2nd I say "Hello, this sounds great. I want to do it. Lets schedule whenever is possible" May 3rd - Steve emails me back asking me to sign the estimate to lock me into the schedule. -At this point I have no idea what the schedule is The same day (May 3rd) I sign the estimate, scan it and email it back to steve. on May 4th steve says "Great, thanks Shawn! Right now we are looking at the week of June 5th. Does that work for you?" on May 5th I respond "That sounds good, lets go ahead and schedule it." I never hear back from Steve at this point. I think that is odd, that they should at least have sent me an email confirming what day we are doing it, or simply an email letting me know they definitively have me on the schedule. So May 17th I email Steve "Steve, We are planninh the week of june 5th any more specific date we can plan for?" *Spelling error I know From this point forward to the time I cancel my job on May 24th I never hear from Steve again. I call the office and get back a voicemail where they tell me they can't see Steve's calendar and he is away till the 23rd. They call this a long weekend but I called on the 18th and he didn't come back to the 23rd, that sounds like a week. I never heard back from steve confirming any dates, the woman who called me, always voicemails because they never answer when you call and you always have to get a call back usually while I was working and couldn't answer. Anyway, she basically told me how it is my fault. She kept repeating they are a small company and they do landscaping so obviously they are outside a lot of the time and can't answer the phone. This line of reasoning was insane to me. They have another bad review for not being able to schedule work because they are too busy. Here is the deal if you have too much work to have someone answering the phones hire more people, grow your business and service more customers.

They have no availability until the spring! Who waits months for their landscaper?

I called the company on Sept 12 @ 9:34 am. No one answered so I left a voice mail indicating my interest in a sprinkler install. I received a call back on Sept 13 in the afternoon. I tried to schedule an evening appointment or Saturday that same week. Neither day was available. So I scheduled for September 30 at 8:00 am. The young lady on the phone said, "Perfect, his calendar is wide open that day. Fast forward to Sept 30 at 10:22 am. I called to asked what happened. The young lady stated "We have you down for Friday October 7th at 8:00 a.m.) I keep very detailed records and Sept 30th was my ONLY day off. Therefore I know I did not agree to Oct 7. I told the young lady to just cancel the appointment. Very disappointed considering I made the appointment well in advance.

They completed the job in one day. It looks nice. They worked with me to make sure I was satisfied.

Went very well and is very affordable for this service. I have used GArrett multiple times in the past and find them very good, punctual and responsive.

Excellent, Responsive and Professional. They arrive on-site, on time. Quotations were provided, and costs were held within the quote, even as some foreseen problems were solved, such as re-locating the Comcast cable feed. They are quality professionals.

Person never gave us the Quote, and no follow up. What a waste of time.

I cannot say enough good things about Scott Garrett and Garret Landscaping Group. I had a rather large project with a number of disparate parts and was afraid that I was going to deal with multiple contractors. Instead, Scott Garrett took charge of the entire project, bringing in a concrete/stone veneer specialist as needed, to produce a result that is truly stunning. When I look out my window at my driveway and garden, I feel as though I'm looking at a spread in a high-class magazine. First off, Scott Garrett is an excellent listener who worked to understand what I wanted. I never felt that he was trying to impose his vision on me, but rather, that we were a team working together to bring to life my vision. Although I had a good sense of what I wanted for the driveway, I was far less certain of what to do regarding the landscaping. Scott offered suggestions for plantings that were excellent, but he was also excellent about making changes if I expressed concerns. His proposal was extremely clear and detailed, which gave me great confidence that I knew every step (and cost) of the project before he began. Throughout the process, he maintained excellent communication with me - again giving me confidence I knew what was happening and when. The teams that worked on the project were truly impressive for their professionalism, punctuality, respectfulness for my property, and obvious pride in their work. And most of all, they were all very nice people. The Garrett Landscaping team was on site for 4 days and worked their tails off every day. There was no music disturbing me or the neighborhood, no lunch remains left at the end of the day - just slow, steady progress on a multi-pronged project. Their fastidious prep work - for the paver driveway and the landscaping - gave me great confidence that their results would be excellent; and they were. The concrete sub-contractors demonstrated the same qualities as the Garrett Landscaping team: professional, punctual, tidy, proud of their work, and again, just very nice people. High-quality performance characterized the work on the project, whether conducted by Garrett or his sub. The price for this project was not cheap but I believe that I got more than my money's worth. Scott came up with creative solutions to problems that I thought were unresolvable, delivered a finished project on time and on budget, and has created an outdoor environment I truly love. But more than that, he and his team went above and beyond the original scope of the project to ensure my satisfaction and the success of the project. For example, I have mobility problems and was a bit startled when I learned that I would need to water the new plantings twice a day for a few weeks to ensure that they "took" (duh, what was I thinking? Of course you need to water new plants!). Recognizing my concern, Scott's team set up sprinkle hoses and a timer so that the plants would be watered without my having to worry about it - all at no charge. Garrett Landscaping Group goes above and beyond expectations to deliver superior work and outstanding customer service. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Everything went really well! The sod was very healthy and lush, and it took root quickly and is doing great now. They completed the work faster than I had expected, and they were very thorough. They even found a way to use some of my old flagstones to create a border around the flower bed, so I didn't need to use new bricks (and I think it looks better than what I was envisioning doing with new bricks). The work was done during the day while I was away, and Steve came personally that evening to look everything over with me and explain how to care for the sod. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely do business with this company again. They are great!

They are excellent! They are very reasonably priced and we have received several compliments from neighbors regarding how great our yard looks.

Steve came to understand what I needed as far as lawn maintenance services and schedule. He provided a clear estimate of the services and costs and invoices for those services as they are performed. They have provided services contracted and agreed upon on a weekly or as needed basis. Garrett Landscape has been great to work with and very responsive, and once winter rolled around I signed them for snow removal and ice treatment.

They did a really excellent job. I was very happy with the work they did. The irrigation turned out really well. They made one mistake. They owned up to it and gave me a discount. Basically, they took one of the trees in my backyard and trimmed it way too high. It was like a barrier so that the neighbors couldn't see us; they cut too much and now the neighbors could see us and I told them that's not what I wanted. He made some excuse but he gave me a discount. He didn't charge me for cutting that tree. I plan to use them again.

They charged me for the power washing and filling between the pavers. I like them, they have done good work for. They have come every time I have called, and they follow through. We communicated by phone and the computer. They answered all my questions, they came and inspected it, and did the job. They showed up when they said they would.

Arrived promptly for estimate, estimate forwarded, work scheduled, work performed completely, clean up after job. Excellent to work with.

Working with Garrett Landscape Group was a pleasurable experience. We had two quotes performed for the work we wanted - both coming in at about the same price. But Scott at Garrett Landscape (the owner) provided the personal attention that made the difference. He paid attention to the details that we requested, and went above and beyond that. His communication to us was very prompt and courteous. We even added work to the original quote just days before the work was to begin, and he had no problem adding it in for us. They were very thorough in providing us with estimates as to when the work would begin and were very prompt in letting us know that there would be delays due to the recent rains. They completed the work all in one day while we were at work. When we arrived home, the team was still present cleaning things up. They then gave us a personal walk through of all the work they had done, explaining all the details, answering any questions we had. And this wasn't even Scott but his team. Not only did they install new plants and spruced up areas that we left the same, but they releveled our brick patio that had sunk iin certain areas over the years. It looks like a brand new patio that we are excited to use again! Overall, a great experience, an amazing result, and the nicest group of people that you could work with. I have already passed their name on to several friends.

They were amazing and they did an amazing job. They brought a whole crew out here and they spent the entire day working. There's got to be 68 guys and machineries. They were incredible and I was taking pictures the whole time and checks in with my husband and I said, "This is insane! The amount of work has all been done." They just came out again because we decided that we built such a big fire pit and my husband said, "You know what, maybe there's not enough air circulation." So I called Scott, he came out and he sent his big guy out to drill 14 holes to let the air come in underneath and he didn't charge us anything. They give a lifetime guarantee in their work.

The company was contacted by phone and a message was responded to within that day. The work was scheduled within the week and performed as promised. The men sent are always courteous and friendly. We have contracted our yard work with them for this spring season also.....They designed and installed wonderful landscaping for us and now they will help maintain it!

After several phone calls, they did come out, but they did not have the plan, were very vague about what they would do and overall seemed disinterested. We did not complete the project with them. I was very disappointed that they had lost our plan and could not follow through as planed.

Scott Garrett had great suggestions for the design and an excellent grasp of what we had in mind. He was wonderful to work with to figure out the extent of the planting, scheduling, and generally responding to questions. The crew that did the work was superb and did a great job. Steve was very easy to work with and had a great way of listening and suggesting so that both the design of the path and the placement of the plants were an enjoyable collaborative effort. The job was done precisely as planned and took exactly as long as anticipated. We are really happy with the workmanship and team spirit. An impressive organization.
