Job was completed on time. workmanship was excellent. they came when they scheduled.

One of our furnaces went out the night before, we called the service they came out and determined the problem. We needed a vent unit motor replaced which they charged us just for the part 676.22; cost of the part on-line was 208. They tried to sell us a service agreement for 298 and a humidifier filter for 48 (filter original price at Lowes is $7). These guys are really a rip off. They didn't leave the old part, so I have no idea if they really did replace the part. Tried to contact them regarding these costs, no response. I would never recommend them or use them again.

Scott the salesman was out the night before and and took final measurements and we finalized paper work, Crew, Eric and Jake, called to let me know they wewe on their way, called and arrived at the time I was told they would. Covered stairs to basement and carpet between stairs and furnace location, put covers on shoes when they were inside house. Removed old furnace and electronic air filter, cleaned existing AC coil and brought new furnace down. Leveled furnace, installed transition piece to connect to existing duct work. Did a real nice job of installing PVC intake and exhaust between supply and return duct, so I didn't lose and head room. Installed chimney liner for gas water heater and cleaned up their mess afterwards, was very happy with their job and so far the performance of the furnace. I got 4 quotes and all were pretty close, made sure all were quoting same extras and if not what it would cost to add features the hadn't included. I got a 2 stage gas valve, with a variable speed fan, new 5 inch filter box and added humidistat that automatically adjusts humidity based on outside air temperature. I purchased the York based on the fact I could all the options I wanted without having to get the top of the line furnace that had bells and whistle's that didn't interest me.

Naturally, my furnace decided to stop functioning on a Saturday night at about 6:00 PM on what was forecast to be a very cold night. I immediately started making phone calls to local contractors to try to get somebody out as soon as possible. Robin Aire was the first to return my call about 15 minutes after I left a message. I then asked them if they could get a tech out to my house the same evening. The guy was at my door in about 20 minutes! Luckily he had just finished a job nearby and was on his way home when his supervisor called him at had him divert to my house. The tech (Jake) immediately diagnosed the problem (a faulty control module), had one on his truck and replaced the faulty one in about 25 minutes. Because it was an off hour I did pay more than normal. I was perfectly happy to do so as they were far more responsive than I ever expected and the tech was very professional and thoroughly explained everything to me.

They were prompt. Gave estimate after review of cost of parts. The technician was knowledgeable. There were no added charges. There was no attempt to try to have the boiler replaced. The comment was that it looked scuzzy,rust on cover, but was in good shape and had no problems.

Mike G. came out and did the inspection and explained that my water heater had survived 10 years past its normal life which I knew. He also inspected both of my furnaces. One passed, but the other passed marginally. He was truthful in that it didn't need to be replaced, but I made the decision to have it done now instead of later. Eric S and Brendan were the Techs that came out to do the install. It was a big job. They tarped their entrance in and out of the house and with the exception of the noise when they were cleaning the ducts, I forgot they were in the house. Install went great, showed me things I needed to know as they went along (like why the air conditioner outside had to go where it was) and when it was all done, they vacuumed the carpets and left my house cleaner than they found it. Eric S then helped to set up my Iphone to the Icomfort stat, and then went thru a through review of my new system. I was extremely happy and Robin Aire will be my guys for all my furnace needs...

We were referred to Robin Aire by friends who lived in our neighborhood. You see, we tend to have trouble finding businesses which will come into the city. Anyway, Robin Aire set up the appointment and their guys arrived in the time they reported. They checked our furnace and then cleaned our air ducts. They tried to keep dust from going everywhere. They were fairly successful. Where they made a mess, they attempted to clean it. I appreciated the gesture. The job they did was good enough for me to call them back for future service.

I am happy with the price and the work. They matched the price and warranty of another company and even did a few extra little things the other company did not offer. They showed up on time, completed the job on time and left everything clean. This is the second time I used Robin Aire. I purchased an AC unit from them for another house many years ago and had a similar experience. I would recommend them to anyone.

From start to finish the experience with Robin Aire Heating and Cooling went extremely well. We were given a complete analysis of the existing furnace and air conditioner, the heating and cooling requiements of our home and how those could best be met with a variety of options made available to us. Scott from Robin Aire was meticulus with his presentation and made it extremely easy to make a choice based on cost, function and required demand. On the day of the installation a three man team showed up when promised and explained what would be taking place and how. Before any work began each employee from Robin Aire put protective coverings over their shoes and layed down runners to cover the basement carpeting. All the work was done professionally and team leader Eric, had an eye for perfection that went beyond our expectations. On the outside of our home a bush needed to be removed to provide clearance for the new air conditioner and the ground needed to be leveled as we are located on a hill with a walk out basement.When the job was finished they hauled away all the debris including the bush and cleaned up everything so it looked like they were never there. Lastly, we were given a walk through on how to use our new furnace and air and given time to ask questions all the while never feeling rushed. During our entire experience with Robin Aire we worked with friendly personal. You will not find a better company to meet your heating and air conditioning needs. Period.

We purchased a home that needed to extensive work. We requested Robin Aire to evaluate the heating and cooling system. They responded to my call promptly, scheduled the appointment and arrived on time. Darin did a thorough job evaluating and improving the heating and cooling systems. He also made a return visit to replace a water valve. Very friendly, service oriented and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Darin and Robin Aire.

I called Robin Aire because they had inspected and replaced my furnace earlier in the year. My a/c compressor is about 18 yrs old so I was really expecting it needed to be replaced. I called and a technician

David G. was the serviceman that came out, and did an excellent job of fixing the air conditioning unit. He was thorough, courteous, honest, and best of all fixed the unit so that it is now working! He explained everything ahead of time before repairs, with prices, and a couple of choices of how best to save money. Prompt. Professional. Great attitude. They wore booties over their shoes when they cam in the house, to protect my floors and carpet. After installation was complete, Steven took the time to explain everything -- how it works, warranty, etc. I was very happy with the job from start to finish.

I had a new furnace (hi-E) installed in Nov 2009 by Robin Aire. They are truly professional and courteous and the employees are happy working there.

The service turned out excellent. They seemed very responsive and professional. They gave an estimate and stuck to that cost.

Product and service have been outstanding. Joe S came on time and called us prior to coming. He was very thorough and a perfectionist in cleaning and examining the units. He also gave some very good advice for maintaining the AC and preventing damage. He showed me how to easily clean the air coil vents and also how to prevent ice damage. This alone was worth the service contract. Joe cleaned up beautifully even wrapping the garden hose that was used for cleaning. Joe put on booties whenever he entered even though his shoes were clean. I continue to recommend Robin Aire to anyone I know who is interested in purchasing a quality product with outstanding customer service.

It is going well. It is a huge job and the techs have been professional. The salesman, Scott, was also professional and the price came far under Robin Aire's competitor.

I don't know about the A/C unit yet since I don't need it in Michigan in April, but the my desktop computer is louder than the furnace--a nice change from the one that came with the house. If I had it to do over again, I would. If I had to recommend to a family member or friend, I would recommend Robin Aire.

They solved the problem with minimal cost and didn't try to pull the wool over my eyes. I find them to be reputable and cost effective over the years.

My overall experience with Robin Aire has been fantastic. From their quick response to my phone inquiry, to the salesman meeting me within a couple days of the phone call and finally the crew's work and all aspects of it were top notch. As mentioned above, I called to inquire about a newsletter and immediately got a person to talk to, Scott was out within a couple of days and now not even ten days later, I have a brand new furnace and A/C in my home that is high efficiency and a quality product that will last for years to come. I can not recommend this company enough to those looking for heating and cooling needs. Prior to this purchase and experience, I have used them for two years to maintain my previous systems and that service was no less outstanding. Thank you to the entire organization.

Our furnace kept shorting out and blowing a fuse and we didnt know why. A man from this company came out and took time looking for every possible problem. he found water in our furnace and a wire floating in it and that was what was shorting out. he fixed it, plus looked at other things we questioned about our furnace and helped us understand how to better use filters. The one we were using was close to the wall and was extremely difficult to get in and change out. he helped us find a better alternative. he was there for a few hours and answered all our questions. never once acting annoyed or rushed. I would highly recommend their services again and we will definitely be using them again.

Checked out the furnace, replaced the filter and showed me how to tell if the humidifier was working. They have always been efficient and pleasant. I purchase the maintenance agreement every year for the furnace and air conditioner. Excellent work ethics.

Our furnace shut down during the cold snap. The contractor came out within 24 hours. The old furnace needed a new heat exchanger. It was eleven years old, so we decided to replace the furnace and the central air unit. The contractor was booked solid because of the weather, but scheduled us for an afternoon appointment two days later. They had to work late into the night (after 11:00 pm), but they got a new furnace installed and our heat back on. He told me the installation was temporary -- just to get my heat back on. He said they would make it permanent when they returned to install the heat pump. They came out the next week and installed the heat pump. They replaced everything (ductwork for filter and AC evaporator, intake and exhaust pipes, rewired power to get dedicated line to furnace, reinstalled humidifier, etc.). They also clean up everything and lay down tarps wherever they are working. We purchased the most efficient package (Lennox 98% efficient furnace with heat pump). It's a bit expensive but works well (very quiet) and the work is top notch. The final price was exactly what was quoted We were in a bit of a desparate situation, so I did not have time to get quotes from other contractors. I always do that for big projects. However, these guys have a good reputation and we have used them before. I feel confident we got a good system that was properly installed at a fair price, so I am not loosing any sleep over it.

It went well. We have saved a lot of money on our heating and AC bill. They are a fantastic company to work with. They are professional and have high integrity. They do not try to sell you what you do not need. I highly recommend them.

Our ~30 year air conditioner stopped working in our new house and since we had Robin Aire's worry free service plan from the previous owners, we called them up to take a look at it. They had someone out the next evening (Saturday) and found that the compressor needed to be replaced. After working with our home warranty program we eventually received outside authorization to get Robin Aire to do the work. Since the A/C was so old, we opted to replace the system instead. They had someone out to give us a quote on Tuesday morning and did the install that evening - two days before the next available company would have been able to come out to give us a quote! We really appreciated them squeezing us in that day and working until the late evening to get the job done. Everybody we spoke with was very professional and explained what they were doing well. We are pleased with the service and would use them again.
