We had a great experience working with Aaron and his crew. From our first meeting we were confident this was the company we wanted to use. We have meet with other deck companies but either price or the sales man were the reason we didn't continue with them. We discussed our needs with Aaron and he sketched out a couple different versions of the deck. We picked the one we liked and the price was inline with what we were looking to spend. Aaron said they would start the next day and they were there bright and early tearing out the old deck. The worked for 4 days or so removing the old and installing the new deck. Everything looked just like we discussed. It was a great experience.

They arrived at 7 in the morning on the first day and worked all day. Mike, the foreman, was great and explained the process and how long he thought the job would take. He listened to our questions and expectations and did everything we wanted. The second day when they arrived the inspector had not yet come to approve the new post holes so they had to work on other aspects of the deck. The 3rd day was a no work day due to weather. The building continued on days 4-7 without incident or issues from us. The clean-up crew came midway through the job and hauled away most of the debris. They finished the deck on the following Friday. The inspector came and approved the deck the following Tuesday. The clean-up crew did not come back until a week after the project was completed but by that time we were worried about killing the grass so we had picked up the debris and raked most the the grass. Mike and his team did a good job and I can comfortably recommend them for any deck project.

It was excellent and I was totally amazed. They are a family and they work really well together. They took care of any concerns, came out when they were supposed to and did a beautiful job.

Some misunderstanding with planning and designs, but things were completed to my satisfaction.

The work exceeded all expectations. The tear-out was quick and thorough, and the clean up meticulous. The construction of the new deck was truly a work of art. Trex requires special design features of the supporting structure; with painstaking precision, MBDB built a super strong, flawless, cleverly designed structure. The trex materials were then installed and the final clean-up was quick and thorough. Warren was always timely and responsive, and he and his crew works long, hard, fast and efficient! I couldn't be more pleased.

The job went very smoothly they started on time and worked all day, each day except one day when it rained and working on ladders 9 feet in the air is not safe on wet days. If not for that one day, they would have finished in 5 days. They tided up every day and cleared every thing away at the end of the job, They were very friendly and very professional at the same time. They installed post lights and a transformer which made the deck look amazing. We are very pleased with the finished deck, and would recommend them to any one needing a quality job.

The cleanup crew did a very good job of removing everything from the site. We are very happy with the new deck.

Completed on time and within agreement. The final results show a high level of quality. They also cleaned up wood. In general, they were responsive and thorough.

They rebuilt our deck replacing the pressurized lumber with TREK material. They did beautiful work and completed the project on time.

I was being pressured by my Condo Association to do something right away about my deck. Due to the state it was in, I felt it was best to replace it. I contacted 4 different builders and MI Best Deck Builders were the only one that seemed interested in my business. Everyone else told me how busy they were and it would be weeks before they could do anything for me. Aaron the owner made an appointment and came out exactly on time as promised. They started work sooner than promised which I was thrilled with. The construction went well and the owner stopped by to check how things were going, and was I happy with my deck. I love my new cedar deck it came out as promised. I was also pleased with the cleanup afterwards. I would highly recommend Michigans Best Deck Builders to anyone who wants a beautiful new deck.

We had an estimate and they looked over our deck and gave us an estimate on doing the work. They were profession and punctual and were better than the previous company we consulted. However, there was no evaluation of the substructure of our current deck, which is clearly warped and needs to be replaced.

They were good and friendly. It's a good company and I would recommend them.

Aaron was great to work with - very professional yet personable. He met with me on 3 different occasions to review and finalize design. Once decided the project got off to a slow start due to permit issues but once those we resolved the project ran more smoothly. Aaron's work is high quality and an overall good value (not the cheapest but well worth it). I would highly recommend his work to those who want a custom design with quality construction without breaking the bank or feeling like you have been taken advantage of.

The deck came out beautiful! Kris and his crew did a phenomenal job and Kris took the time to do the job right. He was very proud of his workmanship and I was impressed at the lengths that he went though to give me the deck that I wanted in a timely fashion. He hand routered the hand rails to give it a nice touch, the deck lights are awesome and has different settings to fit your needs. All of my neighbors commented on what a great job that they did! I had my family over and used the deck for entertaining for the first time this past weekend, they loved it and I was proud to have this addition onto my home.

We had them build a 10X12 deck from Trex Transcends material. Pretty simple design. Colour scheme worked out really well. Took longer than I would've liked to get it done but the carpenter and his guys were really good. Conscientious. Asked questions before they did things which I really appreciated.

The finished project was perfect! Support beams were reinforced, if needed, and the deck was built with quality materials and put together quickly and skillfully. Clean- up was perfect and we had a beautiful deck in a matter of 3 days! We also needed some brick work done and we were given the name of a company that also did exceptional work. We highly recommend this company!!

Aaron and his crew did a great job. Aaron was very knowledgable and offered suggestions on how to design our new deck. He was open to changes and very accomodating to our questions and concerns. The work was done quickly and the new deck is beautiful. I would definitely recommend them or use them again.

It went great, took just a little longer than I wanted, but , doesn't all work take longer!!!! Crews were hard workers. nice, I even bought them lunch a few days...
