They made a recommendation when it was discovered that a mistake had been made in the choice for the stairs and gave me a refund for the stairs as well as discount on a different product that was more suited to that application. Also ordered all the Hunter Douglas blinds through them. Great service and great people from the sales staff to the installers.

Description of Work: Our salesman, Jason, did a very good job explaining different types of flooring options for our kitchen. The new flooring will be installed later this week.

Description of Work: They torn out old carpet and replaced it with the carpet we selected for our bedroom and entrance way, including 14 steps. We are very happy with the choice of carpet and the installation.

Again, we were treated like family and got great assistance with choosing our carpet. The install team this year was the same father & son team that installed for us last year. A great job again this year. We will use them again and highly recommend Independent Carpet One.

Description of Work: Installed new Engineered Wood flooring and trim. The installer was very skilled and the flooring product made by Mirage was satisfactory as a replacement of our water damaged prior floor.

Description of Work: We had almost all of our carpeting replaced. First, formal dining & formal living room. Went off without a hitch. A few weeks later, the did hallway, stairs and master bedroom. Damage to the freshly painted ceiling....which they denied happened. Really, it wasn't there before they started and with no furniture in the room, couldn't have been anything else. Family room was next...multiple problems with the seams. Had to replace the carpet twice. Manager came out to survey the carpet...said the installers did a poor job, installers said that the owed was trying to get them fired. While they did move the furniture, it has never been right since...recliner has never fit back together since they moved it. Bad blood between the installers and store. Very uncomfortable. Will look elsewhere the next time. Salesperson was very kind...not pleased with the carpet.

Description of Work: They installed carpeting in our living room. During the visits to their showroom their sales staff was very knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. The installation was done within the timeframe they had told us about initially. We are very happy with the carpeting and will use them again when we need to replace more carpeting.

Description of Work: Jason, our salesman, was very helpful and accommodating. He helped us select a carpet that was in our price range and explained everything about the warranty and installation so that we could easily understand it. That part of the purchase was great. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the install. Two installers arrived on time to install the carpet. While they worked, one installer was constantly reprimanding the other installer and calling him sloppy. He also used language that was inappropriate, especially with my young children around. My biggest complaint with the install was that there was damage to the baseboard paint. I called Jason to tell him we were unhappy with the damage and he explained to us that it can happen as part of the install and that he warned us about it when we bought the carpet. I have had Independent Carpet One install carpet in two other bedrooms with the same exact white baseboard and never had any damage. I think the installers were not as careful as in the prior installs. In the future, I will consider purchasing carpet from other companies instead of Independent Carpet One.

Description of Work: I needed to re-carpet the stairs leading into my upstairs condo. From day one I was given excellent support in the showroom -- not only explaining what carpet would best suit my needs, but interior design consultation and more. Pricing was upfront. The individuals who installed the carpet were prompt and professional. Another individual came to install a stair nose and did a beautiful job.
