Called right away. He was very helpful and explained what was wrong with the lock. He provided options for the repair without any pressure and offered suggestions as well. I purchased a big deal off Angie's list. I feel like I got a great deal on the price of the lock I wanted.

He came when he said he would, listened carefully to my needs, offered options and promptly took care of everything.

Chad came out yesterday to re-key the locks on a house we just purchased and to change the lockset on our front door which was broken. We had an appointment for 2:00, and he let me know that he was running a bit late. He arrived at 3:00 and got right to work. He was able to install a new lockset on a door and re-key the locks for 6 different doors so they all open with the same key. Very professional and friendly and I would gladly recommend him.

Chad was late but he called regularly to update me on his estimated arrival time. I appreciated the calls because it allowed me to do other things while waiting. I realize things happen beyond our control. When he arrived he was very apologetic and gave me a discount on my bill that eliminated any inconvenience I may have experienced. After arriving and inspecting all of the doors he made his recommendations giving me all of my options. He explained the options that could save me money and ones that could be more costly. He did not try to influence me (hard sell) at all but allowed me to make my own decision which I appreciated. He showed me samples from which to choose. He explained and showed me exactly what he would be doing. Afterwards he explained the new locks and how they worked. He gave me safety tips on locks and keys. He was a very nice person and easy to talk to. And there was no doubt as to his expertise as a locksmith. When Chad finished his work I had forgotten all about the lateness and had only positive thoughts about him, his performance and the company. I will defiantly call this company again for any locksmith needs.

Locksmith provided excellent service in re-keying my doors. In the process, he saw that my one door lock was initially installed upside down and hence, turned it the right way. One door lock had to be replaced but again in the process, he saw that another lock had a hidden defect (not secure) so he replaced that lock free of charge. He obviously took pride in doing his work correctly and for our family's safety. Thank you!

It went very well the service provider Chad took his time and explained as he went along the door is old about 30 yrs old and he did some clean ups to the door to make the door close better and adjusted the new lock to fit our current key. Chad was very nice and professional I will definitely call him again for service.

Everything went well. I had to reschedule from my original appointment and Chad was very accommodating. He was able to reschedule my appointment with no issues. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Site unseen did not come to house. By phone efused to do work (lock install). I would like my money back from Angie's list. This is the second "A rated" contractor that has not provided the work I paid for.

Chad was able to come out promptly once I contacted him. He arrived within the window of time that we had scheduled. He was able to do what I had asked of him and give advice. We had one door set that needed repair but he advised against it since it was very expensive. We can live with the door as it is. He was very professional.

Excellent! Chad was courteous, professional, and actually did other little repairs to other doors in our house without any additional charge even though I offered to compensate him. I would highly recommend him and will use him again in the future.

We bought a new house, but the seller did not leave a key to manually unlock the garage door in case of power failure. We bought the 19.99 deal for Metro Detroit Locksmith and paid a reasonable additional charge, but I don't recall the amount. They were very easy to deal with over the phone. Said that once we had possession of the house, they could be out either the same day or next day. It worked out very well, although it was a very cold day and it must have been tough to work in an unheated garage. The technician was very nice and knowledgeable and answered questions about the remote opener as well.

Called Chad on Friday morning and he was available that day to come by and re-key 5 locks on a new home. He recommended we install a deadbolt in the front door for additional security. Chad had everything he needed in his truck and worked quickly. He has a great attitude, provides solid guidance and works with customers to develop a plan to maximize security.
