Chad is quick, professional, courteous and well-skilled. He returns phone calls promptly and is flexible around customers' schedules. He called me about 20 minutes before arriving, completed the job in about 90 minutes, and even installed a dead-bolt lock on a door that didn't have one. He upgraded my front door to a premium handle-lock for free, as it was an item which a previous customer didn't want and now it makes my front door look like a million bucks. I would definitely recommend his services.

Removed door key cylinder coded a new cylinder to match ignition key. Very good service will definitely use them again.😊

I knew I could trust Angie's List to make a good recommendation for a professional to straighten out the crazy lock problem. I chose Locksmith Around the Clock and it was a GREAT recommendation! Chad, one of the owners of the mobile business called me immediately after I emailed and was able to fit me in the next day. He finished his prior call early, so he called to let me know he could be early for me if it worked. He made practical and cost conscious suggestions. I chose the simplest- after the four lock fiasco- all I wanted was one key and a code for both doors! The locks and handles a lovely and beyond practical. I am happy knowing I can't lock myself out of the house!

He was very good. He was very prompt and professional. He made a couple of other recommendations and I took up those offers as well. He had to special order one because of the nature of the lock on the door wall. I've already recommended them to two other people.

Service was great. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Gave me suggestions on different locks to purchase and helped me reprogram one of my electronic keypads.

Punctual. Excellent description of the issues with both sets of locks. Job was done less than 24 hours after making initial contact and reservation for service. Suggestions were made; Gave me a superb deal on a couple of new locks. Excellent all around - will use this person going forward for all my locksmith needs.

We were very disappointed with this service provider. We called them based on reviews on Angie's List. My husband called, discussed the work we needed done, and scheduled a time for a service provider to come to our home to complete the job. We should have known it wasn't going to go well when the person seemed less than thrilled w/the size of our job on the phone telling my husband, "We don't even come out for less than 4 locks!" (We needed 6 locks re-keyed but my husband had fogotten about 2 of them initially when scheduling the appointment). I waited at home for the person to arrive. When the appointment time passed I called and was made to feel as if I was somehow confused because nothing was scheduled. I was made like the "little wife" who wasn't smart enough to know that nothing was scheduled. I know an appointement was scheduled because my husband had an exact time slot and even knew where the service providers prior appointment was. When my husband called and recounted their conversation it seemed to dawn on the service provider that he did in fact have an appointment with us. He never once apologized and instead tried to blame it on his phone. He then told my husband, "Tell me what you want me to do. I'll do the job myself and we will work something out". At this point it was all too sketchy and seemed unprofessional. The last thing I need is someone unprofessional and willing to "work something out" under the table re-keying all of the doors in my home. He had lost our trust which for these services in particular, seems paramount. We ended up going with another provider and were thrilled w/the other providers services and professionalism. I would never recommend Metro Detroit Locksmith to anyone.

Very nice guy, but kept trying to upsell me. The quality of the work was okay (not great, but not bad either). Even with $30 service charge, I found out during the service call that the minimum charge was $65.

We had purchased the deal to have an old lock replaced on a door we wanted to use frequently. In talking with the locksmith he informed us the $99 deal was to work on 3 locks. We explained what we needed and he agreed to come out and replace the old deadbolt which he did. He had to remove the whole lock mechanism and made sure it all work easily which would normally have cost more than the deal. We were happy with the workmanship and his willingness to be flexible.

Chad was friendly and informative. He even made some extra repairs to our door handle saving us money as we otherwise would have been forced to replace it. He also gave us improvement options for the future, but did not push anything on us that we didn't need. Overall, it was an excellent experience.

He spent about an hour trying to repair a broken latch. Ultimately determined that it could not be repaired and recommended new door handle

The service technician Chad was very experienced and was able to cleanly install the deadbolt without chipping any paint on the main door to my house. All new brass handles are perfect match He also cleaned the wood shavings and disposed of old lock in recycle bin. All three locks are reset to one key and he provided me with extra keys. He finished all of the locks in 40 minutes. Great work and well done Chad !
