Description of Work: Burton's Plumbing arrived quickly and the service provider was friendly and professional. We had an unexplained leak from what we thought was the upstairs shower. The plumber attempted to locate the leak or the cause for the leak. However, as he checked out the shower and all other possible causes, nothing turned up. We haven't had the problem again and don't quite know what happened. We informed the plumber that we would definitely call again if the leak ever occurred.

Description of Work: I requested appointment via their website and I was contacted the next morning. I had a new sink faucet installed (style change only, not functional issue) and shower faucet looked at. The shower was not providing me enough hot water. The 15 yr old faucet was corroded but repairable..only needed a special part to fix. I was not talked into buying an all new faucet and told the rebuilt one would be good as new. They came back 2 days later (ensuring I had a 2nd shower to use in meantime), finished the overhaul, and I was finally able to take a hot shower again. The cost was higher than originally quoted, but they ran into unexpected issue so that happens.

Description of Work: I have used them twice and signed up for their preferred customer program. Their technicians are sent specifically to deal with the problem.....if it is a sump pump, they know sump pumps and if it is a furnace problem they know furnaces. They send the right person to do the job! They are knowledgeable, professional and courteous. They always were shoe covers and are neat in appearance. Love this company! Great customer referal program too!

They installed the new gas line to code, cleaned out the vent both inside and outside, replaced the leaking valves, and installed a new refridgerator line. They came at the last minute and worked quickly. As a single mother, I know that any plumbing or gas work will be very easy since I have Burton's to rely on. It is a huge relief. They are the only plumber I will use and the only plumber I will recommend.
Description of Work: Gas line replace to dryer and valve replacement to utility tub. Also, installation of water line for fridge.

+ -1 moreThe work was done well. However, the problem came when I got the bill. I was not given an estimate of how much the job would be. He was there approximately one hour (including doing the estimates) and my bill was $400!! I just about fell over!! When I called to discuss the bill, he wouldn't call back. They kept saying he had a family emergency! I called around to different plumbers and discovered that the same service would have only cost about $150-200. I WOULD NEVER USE THIS PLUMBER AGAIN!!!
Description of Work: I had them change a shower head and give an estimate for replacing a faucet and installing a back up sub pump.

+ -1 moreI had no worries knowing Tom was in my house. He explained all the mistakes that the builder made, and explained what he was going to do to correct the issues. He asked for my input to ensure components were placed optimally to my preference. It was a wonderful experience having a credible, honest, quality focused contractor in my home. He prepped the area before he began his work and cleaned up before he left. It was wonderful working with Tom!
Description of Work: My home was a spec home and the builder cut corners. Tom came to install a new garbage disposal, reinstall my reverse osmosis system, install new faucet, replace aging copper and replace waste lines. Tom was meticulous, and did an excellent job correcting the builder's mistakes and installing the new components. We are so happy working with Tom, and I would highly recommend him to anyone. They have been in business for decades and they can handle any plumbing or heating job and are specialists in kitchens and bath remodeling. You will be glad that you called Tom Burton!
