On Sunday afternoon I noticed my bathtub drain was clogged. After several attempts to open the drain on my own I logged onto Angie's List and and found Universal Plumbing & Sewer. Monday morning before business hours I called and a receptionist took down my information. Dennis was at my door around 9 am. He snaked out my drain with equipment I have no desire to own, put everything back together and my bathtub was fully operational 45 minutes later. He informed me they handle hot water heater and sump pump issues too. I have their card on my refrigerator because you just never know when you'll need a plumber.

We have used Universal three times and been very pleased with their service each time. The technician, Creith, is very professional and skilled. We would recommend them highly.

After the clean out and removal of junk in trap I had no more problems

When the service provider first arrived,he put shoe covers on to protect the floors. While diagnosing the problem the toilet overflowed with sewage onto the floor. Provider removed shoe covers and walked through sewage then proceeded to walk around basement floor (marble tile) He walked up an down the stairway many times as he went outside to retrieve the tools he needed. The simple drain snake was more than quoted because the provider said he need to install a new clean out and couldn't use the one already there. While snaking through the new cleanout raw sewage debris was flung onto the walls and cabinets...gross. Took me hours to clean and sanitize my house after he left. I will say, they came out the same day to fix the problem.

Technician (Crieth) was very thorough in the process, snaking the line multiple times. Was very diligent in ensuring that the water was draining as much as possible before he left. Was very professional, and explained what he was doing during every step. Hoping this pipe will stay unclogged for the near future, as this was the third time in 9 months this has been done.

It went great. He went and found the part and came back and installed it.

Great, pretty easy and I was happy with the service they did. They came when they said they would and cleaned up after themselves. Very Efficient!

The service was wonderful. A very courteous technician who only did was he had to do. Gave tips on what to watch for and what to do next if this didn't alleviate the problem. I would have them back in a heartbeat. Great company.

We called Universal on Sunday morning at 8:30 AM for emergency service and they had a technician come to our home within 1.5 hours. We had no water in home because of pipes bursting from the cold and they added 2 shut off valves within a couple of hours so water could be turned on in the house. On the next day, Monday, they came back and repaired the 2 burst pipes in the crawl space in single digit temperatures. We will use them exclusively in the future and Highly Recommend Universal Plumbing to everyone. Super Fast Service and Honest, Reliable work performed. Couldn't ask for any better service and they tried to save us as much money as they could....which We Highly Appreciated !!!

They led me to believe that I needed to have my toilet rebuilt. I found out afterwards that I just needed a $5 part. I felt like I was misled. I took it apart afterwards and looked at it myself and there was a small part that needed to be changed.

He was on time and very courteous. He covered his shoes and the floor in the kitchen to keep the floors clean.

The technician could not find the source of the leak and assured me that it is just a moisture build up. So far over the last few week, I have accumulated nearly a gallon of water in a bucket I left in place. Not sure where the water is coming from. I still believe there is some minor leak from the pipe.

It went well, they showed up within the time frame specified, they had all the tools necessary to do the job, and they did explain how it may or may not be causing the problem I'm experiencing with the slow shower drain. The main drain was installed almost a century ago and thus does not have a grade, so eventually everything just sits in the pipe. Until I get the main pipe replaced at enormous cost, this definitely helps. It took less than an hour from start to finish.

They were very nice people and they did a good job. It was excellent.

I did not pay more than the big deal of $35.

Overall, it went pretty well. the two gentlemen that came out were, prompt and professional. However, they did reverse the hot/cold water on on faucet and did not correct it.

The problem was quickly assessed. The proper tools were in the truck. The job was done quickly and efficently. However, I disagree with the need to repace my sink faucet. Looks fine to me.

They were great. Called back to set up apointment within 24 hrs. They arrived on time, took the time to explain everthing.

Les came early to give estimate, a good thing. Estimated to take 1 day with a second day to finish if necessary. First day went smooth, a second day was needed. They came out on a Sunday to follow up and clean up with no extra charge. They were very prompt, they were onsite before scheduled time. Always called if there was any delay. Mike, the main plumber was great, always kept me in the loop of everything that was going on. Worked very hard with not the best of conditions and kept within the original quote. There was a small follow up, Dennis showed up before scheduled time. After he finished, one of my dogs got out and Dennis went way out of his way to help retrieve him. Dennis stayed until my dog was safe and sound. No extra charged. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Response was very prompt and corrected the earlier mistake. rescheduled the appointment.

Called at about 8:30AM told serivce tech would be here between 11:00 and 2:00. Tech, named Creith, arrived at 11:15. Wore shoe covers and laid drop cloths when bringing in equipment. after clearing drain ran water to make sure all drains worked. Cleaned up and was finished in less than 1 hr.
