Our experience with Universal plumbing was fantastic. Everyone involved from the dispatcher, plumbers and assistant were courteous and treated us and our home with care and respect. In addition to their plumbing expertise, we also really appreciated the lengths taken to keep all work areas clean and they disposed of the old toilets themselves instead of putting them on the curb. Creith, Paul and Les spent many hours at our home making sure everything was done properly and seemed like very conscientious people. I highly recommend this company.

He discovered the shut off valve in the basement ceiling leading to that faucet. He cut off the old pipe and replaced the interior pipe leading o the outside faucet. After sotering the new interior pipe, he installed a new faucet and cemented it in place. Excellent job! I definitely will call him again for further plumbing needs.

From the first call to arrange for the inspection we found: 1. The front desk, (the person answering the phone), was friendly, helpful, and was willing to make our life easier. Imagine this a real live person answering the phone, and wanting to be helpful. 2. Receiving a phone call the day of service from a "live" person saying the technician was on his way. 3. Receiving an email also advising the technician was on his way, and providing a photograph of the technician to ensure safety. 4. Technician arrives puts on his footies, and performs the inspection, even though all items were dry and no leaks were present he made some logical suggestions for future maintenance. At our request he did replace some items we felt needed immediate replacement. 5. There was no high pressure emotional tactics in play at all, just knowledgeable advice and suggestions. Base on the above I would highly recommend this company. It is refreshing to see a company that trains their employees in the art of communication, in addition to ensuring that they have the skill set. WELL DONE !!!!

Very well, although the spigot we initially wanted changed was not covered by the Angie's deal we purchased. He advised us on some general questions we had. We found him very informative

The service was wonderful, at one point they had to come and change my faucets because the water pressure was so good I needed new washers. I would recommend them to anyone and I already have in my neighborhood.

The techs arrived on time and were wearing uniforms with the company name. When entering my home, they put on protective shoe booties. They were professional and explained exactly what they would do to resolve the issue before beginning the work. They also answered all my questions and taught me a few things about how to care for the valves that lead to my humidifiers. The work was done quickly and they cleaned up afterwards. This was a small job, but based on this experience, I would certainly call them for a larger job when needed. I also received an email notifying me that the techs were on the way. The email included a picture of the tech, but it did not display even after clicking on the picture icon. Perhaps this is something the company should check out. Lastly, the person that I spoke to when I called to inquire about cost and availability was very friendly and helpful. Their friendliness was part of the reason I chose to work with Universal.

Set up an appt after failed attempt by another plumber. Appt was set for between 12-3. Received a call from the dispatcher @3 that the tech was running late and I would receive a call when he was on his way. No call but he showed up at 3:45. This was an issue as I had an appt elsewhere @4:30. He looked at the issue and said he could have it cleared in a half hour. He was on the spot! He cut the line for my laundry drain and snaked the line. Had it clear in minutes. Ran it a little further just to be sure but that was it. Repaired the line he cut and was out out the door in less than 45 minutes total.

It was good, I was at work. Minimal mess left behind. Girl in the shop was in constant contact with me.

Kitchen was being remodeled so we had tech out twice and was on time on both occasions. On the first visit, he turned the meter (which was under the sink), so that there was more room and not in the way. The home is older so some of the galvanized piping needed to be changed and installed new valves. Also, toilet was leaking at the floor, so he removed and installed new flange, wax ring. Second visit was almost two months later to install new kitchen sink (we provided) and attached the plumbing of sink, garbage disposal and dishwasher. We had the same tech (Creith) both times; who was very friendly, professional and did a wonderful job cleaning up. [weblink removed]

They were okay. They ended up making a mess. One of the workers had his shop vac on the wrong mode and he ended up blowing out a bunch of dirt all over my kitchen. The work was fine, but they made a mess and we had to clean it up. He offered to clean it up, but it was so late, so we just started cleaning while he was finishing the job.

It went okay. They charged $55 in addition to the big deal price. They had to come out a couple of times after we bought the big deal. The workers were pleasant. They didn't fix one of our showers. They charged us $200 to fix our shower and it's still not working right. They wanted more money.

Called them at 8:30 this morning, set appointment between 11 and 1. Creith, the technician, arrived right at 11. 45 minutes later, the drain was cleared and he was gone. Creith was thoroughly professional, knowlegeable, and efficient. The price, with my coupon was exactly what was quoted on the phone. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to everyone.

We contacted then online via Angie's List. They contacted us within hours, scheduled an appointment, and arrived on time. They were professional and explained how they diagnosed our sewer problem very clearly. They then scheduled another visit to remedy our blockage and once again they came on time, took great care to be thorough, and left without any mess at all. They explained everything they did in detail so we have notes, and they explained measures we could do to avoid problems in the future. And remarkably this is AFTER we had 2 other plumbers come here recently for the same problem and neither one made the correct diagnosis nor did they fix it. Universal's bill was more, but at least now we have fixed the problem correctly. I will not hesitate to use them again for any plumbing issues.

In February 2015, Universal Plumbing installed a new water heater which included having to install new venting up through the roof. Our first impression was that they were fairly timely in responding and arriving at the house. Initially, the repairman seemed professional. However, after beginning the work, there was constant complaining about various things. I certainly understand the job may not have gone as smoothly as anyone would have liked but I do expect that the repairman would remain professional and continue to work on the issue without complaints to the homeowner. After the work was done, we found that there was a major leak around the venting that Universal installed. Every time it rained, there were major water issues. We contacted Universal and, initially, they said that we may need to call a roofer. Since they installed the venting, we insisted that they look at it and take care of the leak. They were out and added additional tar around the venting. It rained and there was still a leak. Universal was out two additional times to look at it and add additional tar or sealant. We ended up hiring a roofer who told us that continuing to add tar would not fix the issue because the flange was installed improperly. The water heater itself works fine and we haven't had an issue. however, the venting which was all part of this same job was done incorrectly causing major water leaks and multiple attempts to resolve the issue were unsuccessful.

They put a new pipe in and fixed the faucet leak. They only charged me $230 where other plumbers quoted me over $700 for the same job.

I do not know how this company gets all these great reviews. They damaged my property and I never heard from them again. I will adjust my rating when they resolve the damaged property issue. No excuses Universal Plumbing!!!

They were good. We used them the same day we purchased the big deal. We paid more than the $35 big deal plumbing service. We pain an additional of $550. They were fine. They did more work than I thought they would do. They were a little more expensive than what I was hoping for. They came right on time although it was my wife who was there when they did the job and she doesn't have any complaints. We will recommend them but we will probably not use them again because we just sold our house and we don't live there anymore.

Perfect. They came out within the hour. Immediately ;identified the problem with a great price. Did the job in under an hour. Dennis was extremely knowledgeable and we trusted him immediately.. This is the only plumber we will use in the future. Our neighbor was so impressed with the price and service that he hired Dennis on the spot to do work for him. Very happy and satisfied.

I called Universal Plumbing because the faucet in the tub/shower started leaking. I had ignored it for about two weeks and it grew from a very slow drip to a constant trickle. Since I'm going to be traveling starting tomorrow and did not want my family to have to deal with this problem in my absence I called Universal at 9:00a asking for quick service. Universal offered a time about 1 hour later and the tech/plumber arrived exactly on time. He quickly assess the problem and quoted a cost of repair. He indicated he could complete the repair in an hour or so. After working on the faucet he informed me it was "stuck" (my words not his) and he'd tried to dislodge, but if that didn't work he'd have to replace the entire faucet verse the "insert". He worked at it another 15 minutes and was able to get it unstuck and completed the job shortly thereafter. I was pleased how he set expectations, kept me informed through out the job, and completed the work to my satisfaction.

They were great! Les was the one who came to install my new toilet. He couldn't have been nicer. I will certainly use them again and let anyone know who needs a plumber to contact them. I'm so glad that I used them!

They have a quick response time and are friendly and knowable. Got an estimate from another company for $569 for installation of the sump pump only. They installed my sump pump and snaked a line for $482. Their prices are in line with others in the industry and provided me with solid work. When inviting a company into your home when you are most vulnerable, you want a respectable company represented by employees with integrity, that's what you are getting with Universal Plumbing.

Job went very well. Had to fix a wobbly new toilet that had been poorly installed by another plumbing service. Dennis and his partner did a fast, efficient job and my wife and I were very pleased. Will use Universal again.

The work performed was done well and the plumber was competent and professional. The issue I had was the deal I bought on AL ($100 for $200 worth of plumbing service). I had several quotes for the service I needed, and the deal on AL was definitely a savings on the quotes I received, but all were well under the $200 that supposed to be getting. The problem arose when after the work was completed (about 1.5 hrs) the plumber charged me another $40 for a service call. I stilled ended up paying slightly less then the companies that quoted me directly, but felt that if I was getting $200 worth of service the service call should have been included and I still should have been credited the difference. I wasn't going to even worry about being owed a credit because the deal was still pretty good, but in the end it didn't turn out to be much of a savings and I felt deceived to have to pay extra at the completion of the service. Not a good business practice and because of that I would not recommend this company to any of my friends/acquaintances.

We've utilized Universal's services for our plumbing needs on several occasions, and couldn't be happier with their work. They've even gone as far as face-timing with us during a late night plumbing emergency! Their prices are reasonable, and their professionalism and customer service are the best. We have and will continue to recommend them to our family and friends.
