It could not of went better. All the work was able to get completed. Some parts were not on hand and another technician drove them out to the house so the work could be completed. We have had Universal to the house a few times now and would recommend them to anybody needing any plumbing work done.

I called in the morning and they had a technician out before 2pm. Job was performed efficiently and we are very happy!

Universal Plumbing & Sewer always does an excellent job. The representative was very professional and followed COVID-19 protocols. All work was completed within 2 hours with excellence. The old parts were removed and both areas were left clean and orderly. I would highly recommend.

Prior to work bathroom water valves were stuck, toilet flange was leaking, and outside water valve leaking. Hired to replace all old plastic water valves in bathrooms with new 1/4 turn metal valves. Metal toilet flange was corroded to nothing and metal drain was pulling away from toilet flange. Replaced both toilet flange and drain. Outside faucet was old style and replaced with new frost free model. Work list long and took most of the day. The two plumbers were efficient. To complete the job I was replacing the faucets and sink drains once work completed in the bath. I wish I hired them to do that work as well. Their suggestions helped save me lots of time. Everything now works without leaks. Thanks for the great work and help.

polite,neat,and competent....but WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for what i want done........would certainly condsider them for smaller, less complicated jobs......also, they were to get back to me with options on a shower......never heard a word after i paid them for inspection. seems this job is not one they really want.

Their employee was a nice, polite young man. But the original quote was about $255. A wax ring costs about $5. I asked why so much and the young man said it is in case they break the toilet, removing it to install the wax ring. I said for that price I can get a new toilet. I asked him to leave and asked him to have his manager call me. A few minutes later he came to the door with the price of $99. I reluctantly accepted the offer. He removed the toilet from the floor, told me the fill valve was not properly adjusted and he would take care of that. Then he said the floor flange was improperly installed and he could not reinstall my toilet without replacing the floor flange. Someone had to bring him a floor flange and he charged another $150 to install that as well. He did not fix the fill valve because he would have had to unscrew it from the toilet and was concerned that it would leak. So, long story short, they got their $250 and my toilet no longer leaks. The fear of a plumber to work on plumbing has never come up for me before. Likely, because I have done the work myself. The pricing was all very sketchy and over the top.

Bathtub drain was completely blocked. Lee discovered that our small home had some particular difficulties related to water lines blocking access to tub drain plumbing. He expended a lot of effort in finding a way to successfully attack the blockage (years of hair) anyway! The drain now works better than it has for many years. We will definitely rely on Lee and Universal Plumbing for all future plumbing needs. The extra effort, and time required, did not increase the cost beyond the original estimate. It went very well, they were punctual and even a bit early. Damien was absolutely professional and worked very hard to resolve the problem. He offered me options for preventative maintenance but was not pushy at all. Long story short, he worked professionally and quickly and my situation was resolved at the agreed on price. I would DEFINITELY hire Universal and Damien in particular again.

Worse experience ever! I was left with more of an issue than I had to begin with. I would never use this company again or recommend. There was a smell of gas in my basement 12-28 in which consumers came out and detected a leak at my hot water tank and recommended I get a new union. While the consumers technician was there he tested all of my gas appliances to ensure safety. He then found a small leak in the fuel line hose behind my stove. There was no strong smell or hissing sound coming from my stove so that was surprising. The consumers technician sprayed their solution and showed me the bubbles that indicated a leak. Lee from universal plumbing came to repair both gas leaks. But somehow after he “repaired” the gas line behind the stove and cut the gas valve back on, there was a hissing sound and a very strong smell of gas. He then told me that the issue was a piece that connects the gas line to the stove itself (this is NOT where consumers reported a leak that I confirmed with my own eyes) and that I need to get that part replaced or get a new stove. I asked a ton of questions as to why there was such a strong gas odor and hissing and that was never the case before. Lee said “It could’ve been an issue that was just made worse while we were making our repairs”. So basically my stove was damaged during “repair” and I was ultimately told that they don’t work on appliances so it’s nothing they can do. All in all I paid hundreds of dollars to end up with a broken stove during the holidays. Then they offered free installation for a new stove as if they were doing me a favor. I wouldn’t even need a new stove if your technician hadn’t broke mine! Thanks a lot Universal Plumbing!

Bryce St. Clair was the plumbing technician who handled our job. He was professional, polite and adept. He installed the disposal easily. He also noticed an issue with an existing pipe. He explained that a vent was missing and the pipe was installed upside down! I was very impressed by his knowledge and his manner. I can honestly say that everything Bryce did on this job exceeded my expectations. I rate Bryce an A Plus! By the way I did rate the price a B. This was my first experience with Universal, but honestly I don’t mind paying a little more when every other aspect of the service is outstanding . . . And it was.

Very quickly and efficiently diagnosed the problem was hard water/calcium build up. Put in a new filter. Let me know that the shower drain cover had calcium build up as well and that I could chisel it off. Very professional and friendly.

When the main shut off and 2 gate valves were turned back on there was a massive leak from my kitchen sink. After the main shut off was turned back off and leak cleaned up. The source of the leak was unknown but the kitchen sink valves were suspected. After being off for 10 hours the technician arrived and quickly found the source of the leak. One of the gate valves that fed into a disconnected outdoor spicket line that was re routed into the kitchen line but never capped off. Technician suggested a shark bite end cap to repair this line.

Chip and Bryce were quick, clean, and polite. I was also impressed by how quickly i was able to get them out to service the clogged drain. Very happy with this company!

Much less pain than I thought it would be and they worked around my husband working from home as well.

Great job overall. John and Arthur arrived on time and knew exactly what the game plan was. They kept me in the loop with questions and decisions and they wrapped up the job ahead of schedule. I would definitely hire Universal again.

I’m very impressed by Universal’s responsiveness and ability to get out to my house the very next morning. Dispatch’s communication was super clear and professional - they accurately managed my expectations at every step. The technician, John, was also fantastic. He had an earlier opening, so was able to get to my house before the scheduled time, which was a huge help. I could tell he had diagnosed similar issues before and was able to come up with a solution right away. I think we found our new go-to plumber!
