Great. Mark was very professional. He diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. He also cleaned up when he finished. All in all, a great job.

Mr. Joey took time to take a close look at all the drains. He said some of the old drains are supposed to have lids on them. Those holes, he found, were the source of the bad smell. He also found that there was bad water in one active drain in the laundry room. He poured hot water into the drain several times and the smell was gone. After his treatment, I ran the washer, but the bad smell no longer comes out and no sewer water comes back up to the drain, either. One of the good things about this company is that they will not make you believe you would have to pay a lot of money to fix your problems. They will give you a full explanation and then think what would be best for YOU, not THEM. I believe that this company is honest.

Very well. They wouldn't accept the $99 drain cleaning coupon I printed from the Angie's list site that I printed the night before they came. The gentleman said that it had expired. That's why I gave the price category a B rating.

Perfect! The plumber was very nice and respectful. He preformed his work very fast without rushing at all, basically he knew exactly what he was doing. I would hire again for sure!

Fred identified the problem. Tested to make sure all was cleared. When I suggested doing an additional procedure he explained why it wasn't necessary and I would be wasting my money. He helped me understand how to avoid the problem if the future. Will go with this company every time from now on!

Michael arrived on time. He knew what he was doing and what had to be done. When he found that the flapper that needed replacing was an old style form which he did not have in his truck, he went to a plumbing supply store, got the correct part and installed it. He was knowledgeable, polite and a real gentleman. He took the time to explain what might be needed in the future and the estimated costs.

Called Universal Plumbing and Sewer in the morning and they were able to provide service the same day. The technician, Billy, was very friendly and professional. We were very satisfied with the quality of the work and would definitely call again.

Simple Things were taken care of. My only issue is the price of services rendered. I have used this company many times. Installation of a 10$ part cost $300 at one point.

I discovered the problem in the morning after the holiday weekend. After calling several other businesses, I spoke with Universal. After describing my problem, they were able to fit me in with an appointment that afternoon. I received a call within the quoted time window informing me that the technician was on the way. Michael and J.D. arrived and, after I explained the layout of our sewer system, they got to work and had the clog cleared within a half hour. Michael explained that we had a house sewer trap (which I was not aware of) which made it a more difficult job to clear. Both were very professional and careful to keep the basement steps and carpet clean. I would definitely call them again for a sewer service issue. The Angie's List coupon was an added benefit of going with this service provider.

I did use a coupon and they lowered the cost a little for me. I would hire again, but make sure to do my homework on pricing in advance and do some comparisons first.

Mike was very professional in the work performed and he took the time to explain the operation of the heater. I was very pleased with his workmanship and knowledge. I also liked the fact that they used a Bradford White heater which is made in Michigan. Mike did not even complain when the tall boy heater I requested wouldn't work and went back to the shop to get me a lowboy that would fit my house better.I would use Universal Plumbing again.
