When I called Universal, they were very pleasant and helpful, and were able to get me an appointment that afternoon, which was a great relief. Joey has a very nice manner with customers. He patiently listened to my tedious history of similar problems in the past and difficulties with other companies. He explained every step and detailed his recommendations without being hard-sell, but being realistic about the natural course of this common problem. He resolved the problem promptly and recommended preventive maintenance, which we will be doing.

Great! Joey thoroughly reviewed the situation and determined that snaking was not necessary at this time. Gave me a very reasonable estimate for sewer line maintenance that we will have done in the near future. I am thrilled to have found a company that I can trust for my future plumbing needs!

All was fine. I decided to do more work and have scheduled it for a later time.

Mark showed up as scheduled the next day. He and his apprentice out on shoecover to keep our flooring clean. He diagnosed the root cause professionally, took the time to explain and show. He then used snake to clear out the drain pipe in the basement. He worked methodically to keep the surrounding area clean. The pipe was cleaned thoroughly. He also explained to me to use bio-clean enzyme to keep pipe clean from fat / oil in an environmentally friendly way, for ongoing maintenance. I had a garbage disposer, which I thought is broke. I actually bought a new one and asked Mike to replace it. Mike found out the issue and reset it from the bottom of the disposer and saved me the replacement installation cost. Mike is now my favorite plumber. As needs arise, I will use Mike again. They are professional, competent and at right price point.

I called on a Monday and one of their professionals (Billy) came the next day ON TIME!! (they gave me a 3-hour window of arrival and he arrived within that window). Not only was did he fix the issue, but he happily answered other questions I had without making me seem foolish. He took the time to listen and answer all of my questions and went above and beyond in giving me advice for other issues I may come across with other plumbing-related housed things in the future.

Job went very smoothly. Paul was the technician and was on time, worked diligently, and clean as well. Would definitely hire Universal again and ask for Paul if available.

Very pleased. Called for estimate. Estimated was provided next day. Technician explained very thoroughly and answered our questions in detail. Scheduled job . Technician Mike E picked up toilets at Home Depot arriving on time. No problems with installation. Very good experience.

It went great! Other plumbers wanted to replace the pipe from the tub all the way to the stack, and insisted that it wasn't up to code. This seemed ridiculous since our bathroom had been professionally remodeled barely 9 years ago. Universal came out and worked on the drain with a snake and got it all cleared out. It's been working perfectly for over a year now thanks to them.

Excellent work. Joey inspected cleanouts leaving the house and found them to be clear. He determined that the house sanitary sewer drain was plugged just past the first floor drain after the kitchen drain line. The likely problem was material from grinding wrong food waste in the garbage disposal & lint from the wash tub. He coached us on what food to not put into the disposal. He cleared plugged drain & verified all house drains were running clear.

Install went smooth and no hidden extra fees. Team answered all questions even ones about plumbing issues unrelated to water heater swap out.

They did a great job as usual. Jonah came out to look at the situation. Michael B. came out the next day to make the changes for me. He was very friendly and professional...even interacted with my 2 dogs! I have used Universal for a few of my plumbing needs and have not been disappointed once.

Paul came to my home today to work on my kitchen sink. I had tried 3 different times to get the drainage working. The pipes were so plugged he had to use a snake to get the drain working. It was plugged all the way into the basement pipes. So grateful for his diligent service. Paul was polite, efficient and methodical in his work. I would not hesitate to recommend your company for the great service! Thank you.

I am still amazed at the efficiently of this company. I called for the first time and within two hours all my concerns were addressed and completed. I received additional detail estimates by the technician on future plumbing projects as well as having those estimates sent straight to my email for further review. -My toilet is running like new. -They accept card payments.

Universal was very fast in removing and installing our new hot water heater. Everything went smooth. I really appreciate they use Bradford White products that are made in Michigan.

We have only received an estimate. Will hire Universal Plumbing when we receive the needed parts from Delta. We took a day off for an appointment with another plumber referred to us by a friend. This other company could not figure out the problems and didn't seem interested in helping us. We went on Angie's List and called Universal Plumbing. They fit us in the day's schedule. Mark came and took his time with us. Figured out our problems. He was very professional and explained everything. Therefore, we decided to also get quotes for other plumbing needs.

Stated I needed to replace interior of toilet for approx. $450. To stop water leaking in toilet bowl. HIRED ANOTHER PLUMBER. HE BENT HE BALL IN TANK STOPPED WATER FLOW. NO CHARGE WAS AT MY HOMR REPLACING A WATER FAUCET.

Joey was quick, efficient and obviously knew his stuff. He took the time answer my questions and teach me a few things. That is really important to me as a first time homeowner. Our drain was backing up with nasty water in our newly finished basement. We were panicking about a costly issue. It was a big relief for us to have someone provide a quick and accurate diagnosis then fix it. The video feed gave us peace of mind knowing everything was clean.

The works was done quickly and properly. I would definitely hire them again.
