Good - very efficient team. Prices are a little high, but service was good

We called them at 1:30pm and they were there at 6pm that day to replace the pump. Our basement was flooding and when he put in the new pump that water started draining immediately! It was great! They were super responsive and they had pumps on their truck so there was no waiting for them to get a new part!

The project started as a routine drain cleaning and grew to a major problem. The main sewer line in my front yard had to be repaired. The work was completed in one day. Universal plumbing did an excellent job.

Let's just say that I paid $913 and ending up with a drywall repair I was not warned I would need to do and they said they would repair it for another $125. And the next day my basement carpeting was soaked due to a new valve they installed. Also, originally I made an appointment with them and had a window of 9-11am and they did not show up until afternoon. I guess I was the unlucky one of all their 5 star reviews.

It went good they were prompt and clean. They did the job in a timely manor.

They did not do what was listed in the service contract. Changed the wording around when it came time for a call.

It went very well. While digging the trenches for the drain tile, the guys discovered that some of the existing plumbing was cracked and leaking back into the ground. They priced out the additional work on-the-spot and were able to complete it with the rest of the job that same day. The whole job was scheduled for two days and they were able to complete it in one all at a price that was better (in one case MUCH better) than other estimates I received. I would definitely recommend Universal and/or use them again.

Arrived on time and provided quotes. I was a little sticker shocked on the price of toilets as compared to the products sold at Home Depot, but Billy explained the differences and pros of purchasing a higher quality product. I will have the work completed within the the next week. At this point, I have only paid the service call. I will provide another review after the work is completed.

We've had Universal Plumbing and Sewer at our house many times over the past year for problems associated with a house built in the 1950's. Each time they have been prompt, thorough, and not just selling us more stuff to sell it. All of the repairs have solved the problems that were associated with them. We will call them next time too!

Would never have Universal Plumbing out again. They charge $39 to come out. We have a historic home, and needed the tub faucet repaired or replaced with a faucet that was period correct. The boys who came out said they could only replace it with a single control unit, and if they were to repair the unit that was there, it would be over $200 and it would not come with a warranty. We paid the $39 and asked them to leave.

It went great. Had to have them out again to do the camera to find the culprit, but it all worked out. Paul was a great technician and their follow up was top notch.

I called for an emergency (Sunday), due to my sump pump pit being full and not draining. They were very professional, quoted me replacement sump pump on the phone, plus their emergency charge to come out. They said a technician would be out within 2 hours and he was out to my house in 1.5 hours. Billy was able to diagnose, repair and get me all set within a very reasonable time frame. He also took the time to answer all of my (many) questions and educate me on the operation and system of the sump pump. They also will give me a quote for the other services I requested. They take credit cards.

emergency call - were there in 30 minutes, paul arrived and snaked the line but couldn't get all the way through - machine wasn't working 100% he went back to shop for another at 8:15 pm, came back but the line just wouldn't clear, he didn't give up and finally he did it, all the standing water in drain and weeping tile just went away. didn't finish till after 10:00pm thank you paul, with more rain forecast the water would have just come up through floor drain. carpet is ruined but that is another story --- will be having the drain visual scanned tomorrow

Paul, Service Tech was thorough and professional. He made every effort to resolve the issue. He was knowledgeable and very patient. Would rehire without hesitation!! My experience with Universal Plumbing has always been positive. They are an honest operation!! Very refreshing and most appreciated!!

The second, but different technician said that bolts had deteriorated and that is why there was water on my floor. Why didn’t the first technician check the bolts while he was repairing the toilet? I feel his work was incompetent. I have had Universal replace a water heater and conduct other plumbing repairs, I will no longer hire Universal to do work since I can’t trust their workmanship.

We called them because our drain was slow. He (Mr. Jonah) came out and evaluated the situation and fixed it. He then went the extra mile. He noticed we had a playpen for an infant and also noticed that our water heater was set too high and could scald the baby by accident. We told him that we tried to put it lower and the temp was then luke-warm at best. He then proceeded to try and fix that problem free of charge. He also gave us excellent tips on how to prevent clogs in our sink, toilet etc. It was a wonderful experience and this is why I always depend on this company for all my plumbing needs. (We have an old house, so things come up every once in a while). I highly recommend them.

Went very well. Plumber Jonah couldn't have been more personal and professional. Nice young man. Answered all of our questions. Quoted prices up front and actually came in a little under quote. Cleaned up afterwards and took away old toilet and all packing material. This is our first experience with Universal Plumbing & Sewer and we were impressed. Excellent fact filled web site. Know who to call now for our next plumbing problem.

Jonah was punctual, friendly, answered all questions and gave tips on plumbing and other related water issues. Replaced possible faulty water valve with a more reliable ball valve purchased by myself.

Called around 9am, they had techs on site by 11. Non emergency call. Two techs showed up, had my water heater replaced by 3pm. Excellent service. Very polite, punctual, and informative of every aspect of the install and why my old water heater failed. The techs also were tidy and neat, cleaning up after their install. They were in and out for less than 1000, including replacing the vent pipe from the top to bring it up to code. I will definitely hire them again when needed.

Joey H. was awesome - knowledgeable and professional. He was able to get the line cleared in under an hour from the clean-out in front of our house, and he recommended future follow-up steps to keep everything flowing well. Cost was very reasonable.

After being told he wasnt "killing" himself to help me due to cold weather he went on to lecture me about hiring someone that specializes in mobile homes. Told him i checked with his company before hiring him and was told yes they do. Apparently he dont. Charged me 39 dollars show up to be told to hire someone else. Then had nerve to tell me to call him after i got it thawed out and sent me a quote. Really. Wow. Nerve. Won't ever call this company again.

Joey got to my house earlier than promised. Was professional, courteous and got right to the problem. I have a 6 year old, 160 lb Rottweiler and once I “introduced” them to each other, everything was fine. My dog is a great judge of character and was comfortable letting Joey work in and around the house. I’d strongly recommend Universal Plumbing & Sewer for all plumbing need some, and if you have the opportunity to request your service representative, I very much recommend you ask for Joey.
