I called to get est. for a plugged drain. They tried to charge me way more than the retail price shown on Angies list ($145) . Then when I asked about the $99 coupon on Angies list, they said it was an old price and refused to honor it. They also mentioned an additional transportation charge or service fee. At that point I was no longer interested and didn't bother to talk about it.

All work was done perfectly. Also, they repaired a toilet that Cregger Plumbing repaired over a year ago. When a complaint was made Cregger Plumbing said the floor mount would have to be replaced or modified. If I could go back in time I would give Cregger Plumbing a very bad review.

Appointment was confirmed by both phone and email. Email profile of Mark was sent in advance so I knew who to expect. Mark explained every step of the drainline camera inspection and line cleaning. Spent additional time when issues were encountered. Suggested additional steps I could take instead of jumping right to the $1000 hydro jetting option. Clean up of the job site was great. Would use again

I had a small back up in the basement anytime we flushed, showered, or used the toilet. Scheduled Universal Plumbing & Sewer to come out the next day. They were able to come out earlier than expected, which was great. Mark M. was super friendly and knowledgeable. He cleared the clog out of the sewer line, and he gave me a quote and info on the pricier option (water jetting) that would clear out all the roots. $140 in total since I had a $50 coupon from their website and they waived the travel fee. Way cheaper than I was seeing online from other companies. I’ll use them again for any plumbing-related projects and maintenance — the water jetting is likely next.

Dealing with Universal Plumbing and Server was excellent. Everyone was friendly and professional. Service was prompt and quickly available. The team was very skilled and knowledgeable. They were very consciousness of cleanliness and got along great with my dogs. They explained everything at each step and let me watch everything they did with their superior camera system. Initially they snaked the drain as best could be done, but because of the extensive tree root intrusion it was clear that the High-Pressure Water Jetting option was required. This was amazing! Jonah and his team worked diligently and stubbornly until every clog was cleared and water was flowing freer that ever before with any other plumbing service. I am certain this will eliminate my frequent plunging and basement clean-ups and help to save me from extensive and costly repairs in the future. The team went above and beyond, and I am 1000% satisfied with their work.

It went very smoothly. Great care was taken moving the old water heater out & the new one in. (Had to move over wood flooring & steps into basement. ) All of my questions were answered. They left the work area spotless when they were done.

Yikes! I woke up to a cold show this morning. Universal Plumbing & Sewer had a new water heater installed by 1:30 today. I was shocked and amazed that Univarsal Plumbing and Sewer came out on the same day I called. WOW! KYLE and CHIP, the installers, were very professional and personable. They answered all my questions and concerns. I was especially impressed with Kyle and Chips attitude for excellence. I am also grateful for a warm shower tomorrow.

They are great. We had a leaking hot water heater that was draining into our floor drain, which wasn’t draining—It was oozing sooty-looking water back onto the floor. (The hot water heater wasn’t a night-call emergency, but the possibility of a sewage back-up was!) Paul P. came on an emergency evening call. It only took 90 minutes for him to get out in a Tuesday night at 8! He cleared the clog, snaked the drain, and gave us tips for our other drains. A great experience overall! We’ll call Universal the next time we have a plumbing issue!!!

Service response was prompt and at appointed time. Work was completed efficiently and professionally by Jonah and Paul. Township requirements in working around wetlands delayed final steps of process, but Universal was very cooperative in working with township.

QUICK response, easy diagnosis, relatively easy repair FOR A PRO. I would have wasted three vacation days and 12 trips to hardware store. Will use these folks if I ever screw it up again

Everything was very proffesional. Making the appointment was easy and they called 10 minutes before they arrived. Kyle was very nice and professional. The job was done very quickly and they cleaned everything up. Seems like a high quality pump. Will definitely call them again for any plumbing needs.

biggest plumbing con artist. changed there price 3 times for a toilet install. claim they charge by the job! if you don't like having money and getting ripped off this is the company for you.

Looked the process up on YouTube to see if I could do it. I could with about a 50 or so dollar part and an hour of time. I didn't have a lot of time so I figured someone would do it for about $250-$300 so I called these guys because of their rating on Angie's list. Service charge was $39 for a plumber to come out to inspect. No problem. I expected another $250ish to fix if it if the drain seal was the problem. It was the expected problem and they quoted over $500 because it was "a two man job". What B.S.. I tried to negotiate a reasonable amount. Said I would pay $350 just to get it done. They came back with a $25 discount. I told them to leave. These were young kids who were most likely not masters. I paid the $39 because I said I would, but what a foul deal. I got nothing other than re-learning to get rates and estimates before having someone out. For those thinking of calling these guys, their rate quoted by one of the techs was $180/hr. How they come up with $500 for a one hour job is beyond me.
