Had Universal Electric install a breaker panel and an outdoor gen outlet, among other things. The electricians were very professional, same with the estimator. They cleaned up after themselves. And they went above and beyond, which I much appreciate. Cannot speak to price as this was kind of an expedited install and they were the only company to reply to Angi request. But I would trust them to do work for me in the future and I recommend their work.

I don’t leave many reviews but Universal was terrific. I don’t have to explain how hard it is to get someone to your house nowadays, yet alone an electrician; but Universal made it super easy. They even text you with the name and picture of the tech that will be arriving, along with their timeframe. That made my wife comfortable. My technician Jon was awesome! He explained exactly what the issue was that I had and made sure I had an understanding of how it all worked. I was so happy with him and his service I asked for a quote to have my entire basement wired. I will definitely ask for him when it comes time for that project.

We had a Generator installed by Universal power and Electric services. They are professional, organized, efficient, and friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure the installation went smoothly and we were happy, also made sure everything was cleaned up when they were done. I really liked the whole crew, including the sweet ladies in the office. I highly recommend them!

Description of Work: He told me my problem was a broken toilet handle n replaced that but then he also did a minor rebuild but never told me I needed that. He just did it. Our toilet leaked after he left so he had to return to tighten things

Description of Work: He did the service and answered all my questions. The plumbing for my kitchen sink was leaking and backing up. Then when he finished I got the feeling that he didn't understand that I'd already paid. He appeared a little disgruntled when he left.

[member name removed], Thank you for your feedback. After looking into your estimate I found that Dennis did price your job a little on the high side. We do have a flat rate price book which allows us to regulate our pricing in most cases. However running gas lines through joists was not listed in our book. Therefore Dennis based your estimate on how long he thought it would take him to complete, plus material. He was trying to cover his time and thought that because the gas line needed to be ran though a few of your floor joists it would be time consuming. Please know that if you are ever unhappy with an estimate in the future you can always call our office and our staff would be happy to work with you.

Description of Work: We were having issues following a septic backup, and toilets and shower were not draining properly. Technician opened septic tank and other access points and we were able to clear lines without further work. Only charged for diagnostic visit. Very polite and professional.

Description of Work: I Purchased a $200 big deal service for $99.00. I had a vessel sink and a toilet installed. I also asked how much it would cost to fix a toilet that was leaking. The quote for that repair was $222. I told them it was too high. When I initially called and described the work, I was told that they would need to send out a master plumber. This seemed off to me because the work was very standard. The plumber that came out was not a master plumber. He was there for about 3 1/2 hours and the charge was $780. You do the math. Parts supplied were minimal maybe $10.00 (PVC, plumbers putty, silicone etc. My sink leaks. I will fix it myself.

I am sorry that you were unhappy with our service. We do strive for customer satisfaction and the installation of your sink is under warranty. If you are in need of service please contact our office to schedule an appointment at your earliest convenience. Although our Master Plumber did not do your specific job, Dennis the tech that installed your sink, is a licensed journeyman plumber and fully qualified by all state and federal regulations to do the work you were provided. You were given upfront pricing for your services. After you had agreed to the price and Dennis had begun the work in your home, you called and requested an additional discount. We gladly provided you with an additional discount which left you with a total payment to us of $322. Therefore we installed your bathroom faucet, sink, drain assembly and a toilet installation for a total of $322. We also sent our master plumber to your home at your request and check the work that was completed. We strive to leave our customers with positive experience and at the end of our conversations I was unaware that you were not pleased with the great deal you received. If we can be of further assistance please contact our office.
