Oak Electric has the best service from office staff to installer's. They were at all times professional, respectful of my property, and helpful and polite with all my questions. They did an excellent job installing my generator and I intend to continue to use them for the yearly maintenance.

Good service! They did not a** the township inspection so they had to build up the base because it would leak and get gravel in it. They had to reinforce the base in order to pass the inspection.

Technician arrived as scheduled and fixed the problems. He was very professional and answered all of my questions. Oak Electric had previously installed our whole house generator and their work was excellent. Would not hesitate to call them in the future.

I am so very happy that I had my Generac generator installed by Oak Electric. Where I live in White Lake we occasionally lose power, but this past wind storm on 5-18-2017 really knocked the power out. My generator has been running for coming up on 24 hours now and I couldn't be happier. Gary from Oak Electric said that the 22kw unit was perfect for my home and would run everything as if the power never went out - he was exactly right. Last night we were able to open the garage door without issue, the air conditioning was running keeping the house cool and our our favorite TV shows were on just like always. To be very honest I dont know how we lived without a generator before. My wife and I were able to wash clothes so that we would have something to wear today and I was able to make my morning coffee in the Keurig like every morning. When I left for work this morning, I was able to close the garage door and go to work.... LIKE EVERY OTHER DAY. I dont have to worry about the sump pump not running or wasting the $150.00 we spent on groceries last night going bad. I am actually writing this review on my break from work, not having to worry and stay home today because the power was out. It was like as I was leaving this morning the generator said to me "Don't worry about the house today... I've got it covered". In life sometimes we just need a little help... thank you Oak Electric for helping me when I needed it most. My family thanks you Gary.

I was impressed because they answered on the first call- it was very late at night. They assured me that they worked on boilers for years. They tech was a very young guy, only 24 years old - he had no idea what he was doing. He kept calling other guys to get advise. I have him $30 cash for him to come out and I wrote a check for $250 but I cancelled it. The work only held for 2 hours. I would not recommend them and I do not want anyone else to go though this.

The price was good too. They were one of the best prices. They come back every year to service it.

I was a bit concerned that adding a generator would cause a "tacked on" look with obvious cables and piping running across my basement ceiling, but I was very pleased with the job Oak Electric did. I didn't like the idea of them making a T on my gas service which is near my front door, so they made the connection inside the wall where it doesn't show. They also carefully routed the gas and cabling through the ceiling joists such that they are hard to notice. Travis and his crew took off their shoes each time they entered my house, and kept me informed as to when the gas and power would be affected. I do not hesitate to recommend Oak Electric, and expect to call them back for other electrical work.

In every instance, the service people were knowledgeable and friendly. You can tell they take great pride in their work.

The whole experience was great! They expertly guided us through the process of what we needed, the permit, what to expect from the gas company, installation, and instructions. The office staff, installers, and sales person were all very knowledgeable and informative. They were always available for our questions and responded promptly. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Several issues were identified and we were without heat for 6 days, however the issues were resolved.

I would only use Oak Electric. They are neat, punctual, polite, and detail oriented. Worth every penny. It is expensive to have a full house generator, but so so worth it.
