Everything went well. The team that came out to perform the work were punctual and completed a satisfactory job.

The job was done cost efficiently and professionally. Paul, the electrician on my call was outstanding and great to work with. I would definitely use them again for future electrical needs.

Replaced charger with standard outlet. Removed old fan and installed new ceiling fan. All work well done.

Perfect! Ordered a Generac generator from Costco in December. Brian came over to evaluate the site and to explain where it would go. Michelle the scheduler set up Feb. 4th as the installation date. On Feb. 4th Brad showed up with a crew of 4 more and went to work. As we have been in the house for six months the basement is still full of half empty boxes and bicycles and lawn equipment. etc. The crew took care on moving things out of their way and get the job done. completed the job in late afternoon. Cleaned up and left the house in perfect shape.

Mike from Oak Electric performed the service this year. Oak installed my unit 7 years ago and has performed the annual maintenance every year. I've always received exceptional service from them. Mike was consistent with what I've come to expect from Oak: professional, intelligent, great communications and friendly.

Brandon was very responsive and gave me a great quote over the phone. They showed up on time, completed the job and cleaned up after themselves (they even removed my old panel and wiring). Was very happy with the service they provided and the price they quoted.

Have used them for years for my generator install and annual maintenance and for miscellaneous electrical work. Their work is always excellent. They are always punctual and communicate extremely well.

Installation took more than 12 weeks. The delay primarily the responsibility of Consumers Energy. However getting information on scheduling from Crystal was less than optimal, several phone calls without a call back. Finally Amanda got involved and that’s when we got results.

The technician who came out was professional and did a fine job. However, dealing with Oak Electric was not without some problems. On initial contact, we were told someone would get "right back" with us soon to schedule a job appraisal visit. When we did not hear back by the next day, we called again and then someone called to schedule the visit. We decided to hire Oak, and we agreed to a time on Monday, March 21. Unfortunately, after about 1.5 hrs past the scheduled arrival time, we contacted Oak only to find out that the technician did not show up for work that day. Apparently, he did not contact his employer so they could contact us. We agreed to reschedule for the morning of Wednesday, March 23. We were told the technician would call before he arrived. We appreciate that because we have a dog that we prefer to crate when repairmen come to the house. The technician arrived on March 23 without phoning, which was annoying, and he said he was not asked to phone first. As mentioned previously, the installation went off without a hitch, the technician gave us a price, and we paid by credit card. We were told an invoice would be emailed to us. When we received the invoice, it said we owed $106 more than the technician told us. When we complained, Oak adjusted the bill. The communication between Oak and their technicians seems to need improvement. Again, the work was fine, and everyone was polite. Perhaps our experience was not typical, but nothing about our encounter with Oak would encourage us to hire them again for electrical work.

I hired them to work on 2 jobs we were doing. One was new service feed to home the other was 2 lights in a bathroom. In both cases the homeowners had them do additional work while they were there. A year and a half later I received a letter from a collection agent stating we did not pay our bill. When I called to discus this they were very rude and did not want to hear about why they were not paid. They stated they had emailed me invoices and I ignored them. I could not find any emails from them regarding this. I asked where are you sending the invoices to? One email they gave me was not an email, it was my business. com address, the other email was my customer!. I was able to get a hold of him and he looked it up and found it on his email a bill for me. They sent invoice to him as well as for another job in a different town. I asked if they could send me invoices to the correct address and cancel the collection? She said it had been to long and they could not cancel collection until I paid. Remember I received no invoices. So I went to there office to try to resolve. I had the emails from the customer showing they were billing the wrong guy. They also had a woman's name and phone number Diane. Not knowing who she was I called her from Oak Electric and put her on speaker phone. Turns out she is another customer of mine they did work for. They were sending her bills, every time she would call and say hey you are sending me Alpine Roofing's invoices. They said they would take care of it every time. They never did! What happened to customer is always right? I also have referred them out to dozens of my customers for generators and electrical needs. When I told the girl that she did not believe me. Remember Diane? she had them do a whole house generator on my recommendation.

Would not recommend this company. I felt I received an egregious quote simply by the area code I lived in. Be cautious dealing with this company. The main reason I am writing this is if a person had no better understanding of what the market bears for this work and would be highly taken advantage of.

It went extremely well, could not have gone any better. The crew of Brett, Alex and Gavin were outstanding in every regard! They were very prompt and very professional. I expected to have to clean up after them but there was nothing to clean up at all. You would never know they had been here except for the generator outside. I would hire Oak Electric again, for any job, in a heartbeat!
