+ -1 moreThis was the first year that I used Lake's, last year I used another service and way lucky to have my driveway done by 10:00, this year with Lake's, Cory has plowed my driveway by 6:00 AM, so that I could get to work without having to do the driveway myself. In the past I have had trouble finding reliable snow plowing, with Cory Lake I have found someone that I plan to continue to do business with for many years.

+ -1 moreI hired this company based upon other reveiws to maintain my mother's property. We opted to pay for the season as opposed to paying for each service call on an individual basis. They have done an excellent job keeping her driveway plowed and side walks shoveled. I have handled the entire process via email with no glitches. Corey Lake has been very polite, responsive, provided a senior citizen discount and made Mom a very happy camper. It is very likely that we will be expanding their services to include lawn care based on our experience with this company over the winter months. They've been very diligent and provide excellent customer service.

I came home to find the gutters cleaned and no mess was left behind. Company sent invoice by email, making it easy to pay promptly. I will be happy to use this company in the future and recommend them to others. If they did snow removal in my area I would hire them for that as well. Pleasant experience.

+ -1 moreAfter I received the bill I told him that I saw they offer a Senior discount, he said the bill had been issued and the discount was not included. He advised me I could adjust the bill myself. I chose not too. He said he would have to raise the rates to include the discount. I called the company back and they were able to honor the senior discount offered. This company was honest and I will use them again in the future.

+ 1 moreCorey called back with hours of my request for a quote. He came out the next morning and had the quote submitted within 24 hours. Due the uncertain nature of the leaves falling, he told me I just needed to call or email when I wanted the work done. I emailed on Monday morning, he let me know he would be there by Wednesday or Thursday. The crew showed up early Wednesday morning (3 trucks, 6 guys and assorted equipment) and got right to work. They were very professional, knowledgeable and quick. They knew which plants to pull up and which ones to cut down. The shrubs were trimmed so neatly that they look perfectly flat. The lawns look like a green carpet, not a leaf to be seen anywhere. I could not be more pleased and will definitely use this company again. I have already recommended them to several friends.

Their crew was professional and pleasant and did the work according to our request. We will be using them for our snow removal this winter and again in the spring for our landscaping and lawn maintenance needs
Description of Work: Our home is on a heavily treed lot, and we have an enormous amount of leaves to deal with every year. When Lakes Lawn & Landscape arrived, they first cleaned our gutters and then proceeded cleaning the property.

The entire job was completed in two days, and I couldn't be happier with the work performed. They were extremely patient with lots of questions from me (and my retired contractor neighbor), and remained professionals throughout. I would definately use this company again for future work. Thanks again guys - great job!

+ -1 moreOverall, the job cost more than I wished to spend, but it was done promptly and once the pipe was fixed, completely to my liking.
Description of Work: We needed trees, shrubs and weeds to be removed from a large, overgrown bed that borders two sides of our garage. I met with Corey on a Wednesday for an estimate, he was prompt and courteous. He quoted a price and told me he would add me to the schedule, but they were about 3 weeks out. I expressed that I wished to have the project done sooner and he said he would see what he could do.On Friday morning, I looked out my window and spotted 3 men working in my yard. I was happy they were able to begin the job early (they had a cancellation) but I wished they would have called or knocked on my door to announce their arrival. It was a shock to see guys out my back window!They finished the job promptly and left my yard and driveway clean.When my husband returned from work, he tested the sprinkler system. One of the workers had cut through the pipes with their shovel and it was leaking. I thought it would be a very big deal, but I contacted Corey and he came out the next morning himself and fixed the broken pipe.

The shrubs were not arranged as previously discussed, so we e-mailed him, and his men came out the very next day and rearranged them. In addition, we had previously arranged to have our beds mulched by someone else, and asked the other company not to install the mulch over the section that Lake's Lawn was going to redo. Lake's Lawn nonetheless offered to install the other company's mulch for us after they had redone that section. Very classy. We have previously employed Lake's Lawn for some paver work as well and they did an excellent job. We would definitely hire them again.
Description of Work: Landscaping with perennial and boulder installation. Previously, paver installation and re-leveling, as well as fall clean-up and snow removal.

After using such plowing services as SnowGuys and Five Star Landscaping, I decided to find a snow plowing company through Angie's List. This is the SOLE reason I bought my membership, and I'm glad I did. I ended up spending a little bit more than I'm used to ($26 / visit), but it was worth it. They came when I needed to be plowed, and did a good job. They even did the walkway (which Five Star said they'd do, but never did....) Great job, Lakes Lawn and Landscape! I'll be seeing you again next year.

+ 0 moreThey arrived on time, dug rhe holes using a combination of a two-man augur, shovels and hand post-hole diggers and , when finished, dug a 30' drainage trench.
Description of Work: Corey & Dan dug 27, 1'x4' holes for deck pilings and dug a drainage trench. Although they didn't have to, they placed the sonotube forms in the holes to make sure all fit as required, saving me the work neccessary to do so. They did an excellent job and were very professional in their approach. I will hire them again for additional projects.

+ -1 moreWe hired them to do weekly lawn cutting. The owner was always very professional and courteous, but I found his employees who came to do the lawn in a hurry and not responsive. They did the lawn in less than 10 minutes - both front and back. When asked to take extra care around the trees with the whip, they did not resulting in our trees being stripped to the green - two being pulled because they died. I also asked them to cut the grass a little shorter. If I asked every single week, they did, but they never remembered from week to week. They also charged a gas surcharge, which was unnecessary. Our new lawn cutter charges less with no surcharge.
Description of Work: They cut the lawn weekly and trimmed around the edges of gardens.

We had made the mistake of signing up with SnowGuys -- who, when they came -- often more than 24 hours after a snowfall ended -- often plowed only part of the drive. Lake's not only cleaned up after them but now have added us to their regular list. This last snowfall fell and was plowed before we even knew it had snowed. We're looking forward to getting a quote on mowing once we can see the lawn again.
