Lake's Lawn & Landscape

They sold the business to TeamShares who brought in their own office staff. Chuck who is the new biller will charge you beyond what should be charged on any project. He charged us $600 to tie back 7 small plants and to remove/dispose of 20 little black garden fence edgers. After I complained he started to belittle me, accuse me of complaining, calling me names. He then reinvoiced me with a zero so I didn’t have to pay with a note saying they are no longer do business with us. We have Ben with this company for over 10 years with the original owner. I would not have these people service your property because they will scam you

Had an amazing experience with Corey and Lake's Lawn. They were incredible from the very beginning and were quick to answer any of my questions. They were open and honest with me - and I never once felt like I was unsure about a decision. The crew that worked at my house was extremely professional and did an incredible job with all the work. Great communication - and great flexibility. I would without a doubt hire them again. Highly recommend.

Consistently arrived well after snow had stopped, I'm talking 6-8 hours. I shoveled drive in front of garage to get out. They obviously have too many commercial accounts and residential customers take it in the shorts. Terrible service!!!

Lake's did an excellent job on my yard. Their crew cleaned up our landscaping beds (which had seen a fair amount of neglect), edged and mulched them. There were a couple dead bushes that they pulled and they also trimmed several bushes and trees. Throughout the day, they asked a couple questions to make sure that the work they did was in line with what we wanted. The crew did an excellent job on the work and their cleanup was fantastic. I would definitely hire them again.

The whole experience was great! Corey walked me through my options, understood the problem, and designed a cost-effective solution to my problem. It has so far done what it was intended to do. The workers were very knowledgeable and really took care in what they were doing. They were true professionals. There are too many service companies nowadays that send out half-*** workers who take zero pride in their work. Not Lake’s Lawn & Landscaping! These guys are craftsmen and take pride in what they do and do it **** well.

Terriffic work; On time when scheduled. Completed in one afternoon. Quality work, nice crew Allow time for scheduling as they are busy.

They are excellent to work with. Corey came to the house, walked the yard with me to determine the scope of work, and provided and estimate. We called during the busiest time of summer, so we had to wait a few weeks for them to perform the work, but it was well worth the wait. The crew arrived when promised, they were pleasant and professional, and did a very nice job on our yard. We are completely satisfied.

We had some landscaping work done last year and it was fine. I wanted to do additional work this year, adding some plants, etc. Corey came by and offered a few suggestions. He told me that he would get back to me with some plans/ideas and a price estimate, but I never received anything. After posting this review, I received a voicemail from Marsha telling me to check my junk/trash folders and appearing to blame me for not receiving the estimate, without any apology. Corey eventually did send the estimate (and I confirmed that I never received it). Corey was apologetic, which I appreciated, and the company offered to rearrange their schedule to complete the work quickly. However, my husband and I will be using another company for our landscaping needs in the future. I did not get the feeling that our business was valued until I posted this review.

They did a great job as usual! They advised me they would be out In my area Thursday or Friday to perform the work and when I got home from work Thursday, it was completed.

They come when they are supposed to come, they shovel my walkway and also do a very nice job.

Their service was excellent and they did a good job. It was a difficult driveway. I will continue using them for more services. It was timely and thorough. The workers were professional. They are responsive.

It went well. Corey came out and gave us suggestions and provided a quote in a timely manner. He also provided a rough drawing of the plan that we could provide to the Association for approval. While it wasn't the lowest estimate, we had worked with Lake's before and were happy. They came when they said they would, finished the job in a timely manner and did a great job of cleaning up. Because of the size of the plants delivered, we needed to make some changes which caused an extra trip to complete. They were fair with the price adjustment.

This is my second time using Lake's Lawn and Landscape. I met with Corey Lake back in November 2015 to review the work required and to get a quote. I had lined up a waterproofing company (also highly rated on Angie's List) prior to meeting with several landscape companies, to excavate 35 feet along my south basement wall. This required removing and transplanting 4 large arborvitae and three lilacs. I also had some additional work (i.e. edging / mulch / seeding) that needed to be done. In addition to Lake's, I also received quotes from 2 other landscape companies (both highly rated on Angie's List). Based on price and familiarity with Lake's, I decided to go with them again. Because of the waterproofing work, the job required that Lake's come out on two occasions; just before the excavation work was to start and shortly after the waterproofing company was finished. Since the timing of the waterproofing work was predicated on the weather and the water proofer's schedule, Lake's also needed to be flexible. They did not disappoint and came out when needed on the front end and about a week and a half after the excavation was done to complete the bulk of the landscape work. The work is top notch and we have received many compliments from neighbors and friends. When I had a small problem with 2 of the arborvitae leaning (because the ground had not settled completely due to the excavation), Corey was very responsive and had them reset. When it happened again, Corey had no issues coming out again and this time he had them staked. They have not moved since. Corey is very knowledgeable about many plants and does a good listening to your needs and not trying to sell you on anything, instead providing direction but ultimately executing your vision within your budget. He does a good job itemizing the work and cost so that you can adjust the job according to your needs and budget. He is very responsive to email and returns calls quickly. I definitely plan to use Lake's for future landscape work!

Corey came out for the estimate was very professional and friendly walked the property. Everyone was very friendly and quick to respond Marsha got back to me quickly when I had questions. The crew came out, they were very professional, did a wonderful job, I'm very pleased and will definitely be using them in the future
