Corey does an excellent job. His double bladed trucks do a great job clearing the driveway and they handle shovel the walkways.

This is my first year with Lake's and it has been a pleasure. My only hesitation about writing a review ... they would become so busy that they wouldn't have time to come here anymore. Cannot say enough good things about this company!!!

Provider indicated they'd take care of all seasonal sod issues in the spring.

It went great, I didn't find any leaves anywhere in my front and back yards. I was on their waiting list (which I forgot about), nonetheless, they followed up with me and performed exemplary work. Thank you again.

Very professional. I worked nights and sleep during the day and they didn't wake me up. (that doesn't even happen with my neighbor's contractors!) They did a really nice job with the bushes and cleaned up after themselves. I will definitely seek an estimate from them on my next project.

I found myself without a snow removal provider as the cold weather arrived. I found Lake's through Angie's List and got a quote with a per push rate I could live with. They gave professional service done early so leaving for work was a breeze. Walk to the front door done as well. Next year I will get a contract before the season gets underway.

They did okay. I wouldn't use them again because they don't work in this area.

With each snowfall, the crew has come out to remove the snow from our driveway and sidewalks. They have come promptly and without any phone calls or other contact by me. Corey Lake even made a special trip to do some shoveling for a neighbor who was expecting visitors in connection with a death in the family.

The team was there on short notice, cleared everything even better than I had anticipated. Limbs were removed and even brush that was on the ground prior to their arrival was removed. I would have never known they were there. Top notch!

Not only did they do a great job clearing out a fence and a laundry pole from the 1920's, they were on time, completely capable and cleaned up at the end of each day. They hauled off the leftovers and stayed to give us a lesson in care for these new evergreens! I would heartily recommend this company!!

I reached out to the company and scheduled an appointment for an estimate (complimentary). Corey, the company's owner/representative, was punctual for the appointment which I greatly appreciated. He listened to my needs and offered helpful suggestions. He produced the estimate in 3 days...very timely, yet it was a bit more than I wanted to spend. I didn't try to negotiate since I had another estimate that fell within the budget. However, I had no issues with this company and appreciated the professionalism.

I'd like to think that I am very fair in my assessments of providers used on Angie's List, almost every interaction has been great. I also do understand that this winter was far and beyond what we have experienced in recent years. I contracted Lake's for snow removal on my driveway. When they cleared the snow, they did an absolutely wonderful job. They cleared first with the plow, then had someone jump out and clear the walkway and all corners of the driveway with a shovel. I can honestly say that they did a better job than most other companies I have used or that my neighbors used. However, in my neighborhood, my drive was consistently the last one plowed every snowfall. Again, I understand the extreme conditions this year, but other plow companies faced the same situation. Often, if it was snowing overnight, my driveway would go unplowed all day, and then would finally get cleared that evening. For what I need, this was unacceptable. Contacted Lake's a couple of times early on. The first time I was told not to disturb them during a snowfall as the calls get forwarded directly to Corey's cell phone and it interrupts his plowing. Ok. Later on in the season, received preemptive email from Marsha that the crew wouldn't be out at all during the day due to having just worked a long shift earlier in the week. She suggested I stay home and off the roads all day. Thank you for the tips. The work they did was excellent...if you do not need to leave the house during a snowfall, they could be a perfect fit for you. They responded promptly to calls and emails, just not with the responses I was looking for. I will be looking for another provider next winter that better suits my needs.

It's just that we have had so much snow and our driveway is narrow.. As the snow deepens, the road gets narrower. Called them about it. We'll see if the next plow is better.

The landscape beds had become overgrown and very crowded with some dead bushes on one side of the house. Now, it looks like all new landscaping! Very happy with the results. Cory Lake showed up promptly for his appointments with us to quote the job and the day of the work. He brought a crew to do the work. He directed the work team including the onsite superviser when they started and then moved on to his other jobs. Had one issue with a couple of things not done quite as we discussed and he again responded immediately, sending the workers back to correct work right away. Would recommend them to others.

Second time using them, will never do a fall clean-up again myself. The entire crew is knowledgeable and professional. Corey shows up on the day he tells you he will be there and in under 2 hours my yard looks like a golf course with not a leaf or stray branch in site. Gutters are clean of debris and the flowers gardens have all of the plants trimmed down or removed and are ready planting next spring.

It always goes very well. We have been using Lake's for many years for lawn cutting, fall and spring cleanups, and snow plowing. The business is extremely well managed and the workmen are very thorough and courteous. Questions and concerns are answered and taken care of promptly. The quality of their work has been noticed in our neighborhood. This year I noticed that their fall cleanup had expanded to eight other houses in our proximate area with what looked like a crew of 10 workers and five trucks.

First of all, the sod that was planted last year was not shade grass like the surrounding grass under the trees so it is a different color which is rather noticeable. Secondly our hose was left on last year resulting in water in the basement and we did recently mention it as a caution on future jobs. Thirdly, we want a cypress replaced and even though it is lying in dry needles and bare inside, because the ends are green, it will not be replaced. We had a good experience at the start, but over time, the relationship has deteriorated. Had bad experience July 2014 when some mugo pines were replaced. Continue to try to get the cypress replaced and sent in pictures of the half dead shrubs. Was told a nursery would only replace a shrub if it was completely dead. I could purchase a new one for $210 which I was told is smaller than the existing one or $500 for a larger one. Obviously there is a difference of opinion that can't be resolved to the customer's satisfaction. October 10 2014 Corey replaced dead cypress. We are very pleased with his responsiveness and customer care.

The job was very professional. The workers were on time, polite, neat, and cleaned the yard when done. We would highly recommend this company.

Job turned out to be more difficult than anticipated when they found that the clay under the deck area was very wet and didn't drain well due to brick walls on all four sides of the courtyard. They contacted UniLock for advice and ended up have to dig down over 18 inches instead of the normal 6-8 and bring in crushed concrete to stabilize the ground prior to putting in the base material and then the pavers. This involved added materials (crushed concrete) and additional labor which increased the estimated cost. Overall we thought they did a great job and we would definitely use them in the future.

Initially I was not sure that the job was completed as I expected, but Corey Lake returned 2x to make sure that the job was to my satisfaction. He even went out of his way to pick up and deliver additional plants for the front garden.

Went well. Hard working staff the entire day. Responded immediately to any concerns including coming back 2x to redo an area missed.

Corey came the first day and went over the job with his crew. The men were prompt, polite and professional. The job went very well and was completed in the time frame that was promised. I would highly recommend this company--the crew were even patient with my grandchildren--a built in audience to their digging!

The project went very well from start to finish. Corey came out in a timely manner to discuss the work and provide an estimate. The work was scheduled and completed on time. Lake's employees were all professional, pleasant, worked hard, were very knowledgeable, and accommodated all of our requests. We received a call from Corey within hours of the completion of the work to check in and be sure that the job was completed to our satisfaction. We will definitely call Lake's again for our future landscaping needs.

Delayed because of weather and Cory kept me informed, he showed up when promised and completed the job on time with beautiful results.
