The job was very good. They were prompt, on time, very courteous and did the work they said they would do. I was quite impressed with the company and plan to use them again in the future.

The process was outstanding from diagnosis to install.

I called late evening on a very cold night due to furnace going out. Service tech came out, was friendly, and quickly identified the problem. As a specialized part was needed, unfortunately the repair the could not be completed that night as hoped. Early the next morning though, we were called that a tech had received the part and was on their way to do the repair. The repair was done quickly and everything is back up and running without issue. The part was the most expensive portion of the repair, and I certainly thought their price was reasonable considering the timeliness and quality.

We've been using them for a year. They were one of the few that is certified to do work on Trane air conditioners and furnaces. They offered a deal when we signed up. They will do 3 visits and this was the first one. They will come back next spring and fall. They are punctual and the service and repair people seem knowledgeable. The quality of work was good and they knew what they were doing. They sent out two people whereas other companies said it would take two days. They had it in and installed within one day.

Everything went extremely well from the sales rep visit to the installation. Had the good fortune to have the owner as sales person. Advised me throughout the sales process, Did not try to sell me the most expensive options but rather the most pratical items. As a result, final price was $1500 less than competitive bids. Helped prepare all rebate paperwork and provided 12 month/no interest financing. Installation was professional as well. Installers worked beyond 5PM even though it was a Friday. Installers took their time in teaching me how to use the system as well as walked me through the maintenance process. I was very impressed with all aspects of the job.

On time & cleaned up but when I questioned installers about something that is supposed to be installed they called who gave estimate & he said that wasn't included in the estimate.

They installed a new air-conditioning unit and a furnace about 5 years ago. I spent about $800 on the last job they did and my experience with them went great. They were on time, were very attentive and I don?t have any complaints about them.

Woke up to no heat on a 20-degree Sunday. Performed enought diagnosis to know that the initiator fan had failed and that such parts were not available to civilians. Found Kotz Heating in Angie's and called, leaving a request for callback. The on-call tech returned my call within 15 minutes, asking if I minded if he and his family stayed 'til the end of church services before he came to help me. Whataguy! He arrived as agreed, had the correct parts, explained everything, cleaned up afterward. First rate start to finish.

I did a lot of research. We felt the most important thing we could do was get a well trained company to install the equipment. In reading information during Consumer Searches, it seems most problem issues with equipment is due to poor/faulty installation. Kotz is certified with NATE. We were pleased at the work that went into leveling, placing gravel and setting up the AC pad. They removed the old equipment and vacumned the area under the old furnace before installing the new. They covered all of our floors to protect against grime or scatches, they moved furniture when needed for moving old and new equipment in. They cleaned up after the installation. They walked us thru the equipment and usage. They showed us how to use everything, including the new thermostat. They provided all the information needed for Consumer and Detroit Edison rebates. They provided the needed tax information for our gov. tax credits. They made sure we knew what was needed for our equipment warranty. If you have ever stayed in a luxury hotel and experienced the pampering, this was a 5 Star HVAC installation experience. The units work great. With our ever changing Michigan weather, we have had to use both the AC and Furnace in the last week. Quiet as promised.

They did it very well. They cleaned up and took everything away. They were polite, and professional.

Very personable and a great company. They did everything thing they said they would. The price is fair. It is a really good system.
