Description of Work: I used them for an air conditioner check-up. They found a piece that would fail in the near future and replaced it. Had the correct part in their truck. Reasonable price, professional service, and easy to talk to technicians. They explained what they are doing and why, also gave me tips on what I can do to keep my furnace and air conditioner running smoothly.

Description of Work: Replace air conditioner condenser motor. Had to order the part after Friday appt, but returned Monday night to install.

Description of Work: Our furnace failed on a Sunday evening The overnight temperature dropped to -9F by Monday morning. Kotz arrived quickly on Monday to provide emergency heating repair. We ultimately needed a new furnace that was immediately ordered, found in inventory, and installed. Due to the timing and extremely cold temperatures creating heating issues for other people, Kotz asked if they could install temporary ducting. We agreed and a few days later Kotz returned to professionally complete the job. We were provided emergency heating solutions and ultimately a complete repair. The onsight crew were very pleasant as well.

Description of Work: Installed new furnace and A/C. One minor item required by Troy (elevating drainage line) required a revisit for the permit approval. Suggest you ask for internet sources for replacement filters for an Aprilaire (not carried by Lowes or Home Depot). They did excellent install and fitting new furnace. Two free inspections (heating or cooling)for a year were provided. Recommend you have a written, detailed quote and request pricing of the same size or make of unit to get the best price. They were responsive and very helpful with the first revisit to check furnace.

Description of Work: Kotz provided a quote for a new A/C unit, coil and line set including installation that was significantly ($1,500) lower than similarly rated installers. Service was exactly as described in the quote and there were no surprises at invoice. The team were punctual and professional and even refused to reuse an old short section of foam line insulation instead cutting a new piece to fit.
