I called 1st Heating and Cooling on a Wednesday mid afternoon to see if they could schedule a tech to come out to evaluate my a/c unit which wasn't working. By 5 o'clock Wednesday, I had a diagnosis and quote to get the job done....the next day! Very profession, punctual and reliable. I won't hesitate to call Ryan, Mike and the crew in the future with any issues I might have.

Ryan came out to do an estimate ( 5 other Companies also) as our A/C unit was over 22 years old and malfunctioning. He was the most professional and knowledgeable by far. He took the time to thoroughly explain and answer all questions without pressuring for a sale. Installation was scheduled promptly and performed professionally in a very timely manner. Of course, our A/C stopped working the night before installation! Not wanting us to be uncomfortable overnight, Ryan was kind enough to have one of his techs come out that very evening . He spent over an hour installing new parts on my old Condenser unit . The staff was very friendly and professional. They made an effort to take care of my installation in a timely manner, which I really appreciated. They were also careful to work clean and left everything as it was found.

Inducer motor was making noise, so I was concerned about it failing. I called Ryan, who had installed our HVAC system himself in 2011, and a technician arrived within a couple of hours. Diagnosis was confirmed, and he advised that the motor was not in danger of failing anytime soon and would be okay until the replacement part arrived. It was installed a week later.

I have used 1st Heating and Cooling twice and have been completely satisfied each time. From my initial contact with Amy in the office, to Ryan for the estimate, to the installation crew, each stage of the process was professional, friendly, and of high quality. I would highly recommend this company for all your HVAC needs.

We had to change out our 14 year old water heater. We wanted to switch to a high efficiency tankless water heater and 1st Heating and Cooling had a great price for it. They had to move the furnace to get to the tiny corner where the old water heater was. As they did, they inspected the inside of the furnace and noticed the heat exchange was damaged. The furnace was fairly old as well so we went ahead and changed that too. Overall they did great. This is not my first time calling on this company and most definitely not my last. I would recommend them to everyone.

They were on time and never left until the work was done. Very knowledgable and experienced in the job. They have done work for us before installing 2 A/C units and a basement furnace in which we received the same courteous workmanship. Given where this last furnace was, in the attic, it was a hard place to work. They worked through the obstacles and did a great job. They always leave the job site clean and in order. Will definitely use them again and would recommend them highly. The owner, Ryan, sat down with us before hand and went over all the choices we could decide on including just repairing it only. Very professional but no pressure at all.

Called Ryan on the weekend and he scheduled the install for Monday. Over the past ten years, Ryan has installed a furnace in my own house, in my son's house, and in another rental house I own. He has installed hot water heaters in both of my rental homes. He is honest, dependable, prompt, reasonably priced, and professional. I have recommended him to friends and family. Phone calls are returned right away.

Everything went great. The installers showed up on time and did a wonderful job installing our new furnace and air conditioner. They worked with my suggestions for installation of the intake and exhaust lines, out of basement, to hide them in between the joints. Also, they moved the compressor unit from one side of house to the other and relocated the electric service and line set for the compressor. After they were all finished, they cleaned up the basement and took away the old furnace and A/C and all misc scrap materials. I would definitely recommend this company to any person.

FIrst, Ryan returned my call instantly on a Saturday morning, asked me smart questions about our problem and made the call to send someone quickly in case our problem was serious. Then Tom arrived within an hour -- on a Saturday morning -- and quickly diagnosed the problems. We needed a new pressure release valve and a flushing of the system to remove air that had seeped into it. Tom explained everything in simple terms, pointed out things we should watch for in the future and worked fast. All for what I found to be more than a reasonable price. I can't make a higher recommendation. Don't hesitate to call this team.

A service repairman came out the same day I called them. It was assessed that due to the cost of replacement parts needed a new furnace was more economical. A representative came out later in the day and submitted a quote which was competitive. The new furnace was installed on January 2nd. This company responded quickly and professionally to all my concerns. I would contact them for any future HVAC requirements I might have and recommend them to others.

Went Great! They came out after getting another estimate on replacing our bad furnace. Ryan came out exactly when he said he would. They put in a temp furnace for us to have heat until they could come out and install the new furnace. They were not the least expensive. I liked the Amana units that they use. You pay a bit more for them but they are the best. The installers were great and explained everything that we needed. Would defiantly used them again and recommend them to others. Talk about fast service. I called 1st Heating and Cooling Co. and they dispatched a tech the same day and after all was said and done we had an Amana Furnace installed that same day. The tech whose name is Thomas was on time, considerate, professional and thorough. Thomas methodically took apart the parts of the system that were causing all the noises and other issues. He explained to me what was going on in layman's terms which was much appreciated. After putting it all back together he turned off the system because he felt it was too dangerous to leave running but showed me what I could do to turn it back on and take responsibility for whatever might happen. After showing me with pictures taken with a (pinhole camera) why it was too dangerous (many cracks in the heat exchanger and other problems) I had no doubt I needed a new system. Next it was time to have someone explain to us what our options were in buying a new furnace. Within minutes of Thomas leaving, Michael showed up and he too was very professional and amenable. He gave me a number of options to choose from explaining the advantages for each along with prices that ran from low to medium and up to higher end furnaces. He also pointed out the differences between a dual stage furnace and single state furnaces and enlightened me to the rebates available from the power companies as well. It was only a short while after we decided to move forward that a crew showed up with our new furnace. They too were also very professional installing the system and removing the old one. The whole process was about as pleasant and seamless as anyone could reasonably expect and all in the same day. I know part of that speedy service is probably on account of our living less than a mile or so from their offices and yet I have no doubt should a homeowner decide to go with them, they too will be pleased with the results. Excellent Service & Very Reasonable Pricing and a LIFETIME WARRANTY on the Stainless Steel Heat Exchanger, 10 Year Warranty and 2 Years on Labor and much more. I have no problem recommending them to anyone who is in need of the kinds of products and services they offer based on how they dealt with me. 1st Heating and Cooling Co. is doing a very good job of living up to their name.
