I had an excellent experience purchasing a new furnace for my home. From the technician who came out on the original service call, to the sales manager who came over (he spent a solid 2-3 hours with me making sure he understood my existing system and all my different options that existed to make my system better), to the install team, etc. They are first class through and through, and I will recommend them to everyone.

Everything was done professionally and the air conditioning in the house is now much better, able to sleep well each night. The furnace was installed by 1st before I bought the house and they reviewed and modified it and explained how to use the furnace and humidifier in detail, along with frequency to change filter. I now know how to care for and maintain my furnace and A/C plus they provide a free maintenance check in a year.

Overall quite well. It was a two hour job that went 2 1/2 hours because of some difficulty in removing the old unit. We had previously agreed on a set amount and that is what I paid. Billie and Justin installed the new unit and were professional and courteous.

It went well. From the time we called a sales person was out in a few days. After making our decision to use 1st Heating & Cooling they were able to install both units within a few days. The crew was super nice and respectful of our home.

Excellent. Would definitely hire again. Ryan took time to explain my options and equipment in great detail. He is someone who has a genuine interest in what he sells and installs. He also went the extra mile to offer me up 'new old stock' equipment that saved me several thousand dollars. I now have an Amana A/C unit with an amazing warranty. Installers were on time and polite and took time to explain things to me.

1st Heating was prompt and professional. Full furnace replacement with warranty and education was provided with plans to return in the Spring to connect the central air system.

Service technicians were knowledgeable and i felt were being honest with assessment.

This was an emergency and I was given a window of time for the service call; they came late. I had apparently been scheduled with the "after hours guy" all along but was told they would be there by 5pm The employee never said my furnace motor needed replacement. When asked, he told me the furnace would be good for at least 1 year; the fix lasted for 10 minutes after he left. The next morning I was quoted $300 to replace the motor; I was charged $376. Maybe they quoted me a price for *just* the part, but should I really have been charged for a second service call? I lost 2 days of work for this.

Excellent! It's easy to see why 1st Heating & Cooling gets so many great reviews. We had a furnace that was acting up. They came out and diagnosed the problem as the heat exchanger, which is an expensive repair. Because of that, they sent someone out for a second opinion. We ended up working with Wes to figure out the cost of repair, along with the possible issues that were in the future for this older furnace, vs the cost to replace. There was no hard sell by 1st H & C, just facts and discussion. Eventually, we decided to replace the unit. Marty came out and replaced the unit--professional, polite, and another great person to work with at the company. They are our go-to company for any HVAC needs from here on out.

I got preventative maintenance done this summer by the technicians, and yet for some odd reason my furnace started leaking water. I called the company to have it checked, and I was told that there is not going to be a service fee since I paid them for routine maintenance couple of months ago. Nevertheless, the technician arrived the next day and informed me that the condensation pump placed outside the furnace needed to be replaced. It was a simple plug and play install, so I asked if it was going to be expensive. The technician called his boss and conveyed to me that the replacement cost is $213. I immediately checked online and determined that the price of the pump was under $50. I refused to pay $213 then his boss called and told me in intimidating voice that I have agreed to pay the cost of replacement and his time is worth something in case I am thinking to get the pump replaced by someone else. I communicated that I have not agreed and the price is unreasonable for an under $50 part. He called his tech and called me back again to make disingenuous statements about using a different brand that costs $280 and lasts for years when in fact the brand was the same as I found on Home Depot. I refused to accept the price, and clarified my concerns about the cost of repairs when I paid these guys back in summer to do all checks. The boss talked to his technician again and called me to inform me of the high cost of doing business, and his willingness to replace the pump for $170. I still did not think that the price was fair, however agreed since the technician was at my home and felt obligated to pay. In short, I felt as if I was being coerced into paying an unreasonable price given the multiple calls and intimidating tone.

Great! Crew was very professional and polite. That night we got a call from the owner, Ryan, and he informed us we over paid them by $100.00. That kind of honesty is rare in this day and age. We received a check for the overpayment. We were taken back at their honesty as they did not need to notify us. All I can say is hats off to Ryan and his crew!

After my furnace failed, I called for support -- a technician arrived within 6 hours, and upon requiring additional assistance, one of his co-workers arrived to confirm findings 40 minutes after that. They shared all their findings with me, including pictures from their wormhole camera. They offered price quotes based on repair of the equipment or total replacement -- due to the age of my furnace, I chose replacement. They then offered multiple choices based both on the size of my house (1300 sqft), existing duct-work, and my needs, and ultimately recommended an option that would fit my budget and keep energy costs down. They quoted a flat price, that included the new furnace, tax, new chimney, labor, disposal, and all incidentals -- there were no additional fees during installation, and no upsell of any kind. The time between troubleshooting and full installation was under 48 hours. The installation team was friendly, clean, and professional, and answered any questions I had during the installation process, and provided recommendations to ensure longevity of my new furnace. I was incredibly satisfied with every level of the process, all communications, and would recommend the 1st Heating team to anyone needing assistance with their HVAC concerns.

They were efficient, personable and completed the installation including replacing some of the vents and even removed an old humidifier on the furnace that wasn’t working. And they cleaned up afterwards and came in under the original quote! I was very pleased & would strongly recommend them!

They were prompt in responding to calls and emails and texts. They came out at times that fit my schedule. They were very good at explaining my options and did not try to upcharge me for things I did not need. I did not end up going with them because another company gave me a better price, but I would not hesitate to call them. They seemed very professional.

The young man (Eric) came right on time. Diagnosed the problem with the boiler quickly, but didn't have the part which had to be ordered. Before he finished here, he had found where to order the part, provided the cost of installation and scheduled to return, all within the 30 minute initial service fee. When he returned to actually replace the broken part he again was precisely on time, was only here a short time and there were no hidden costs. Eric was very professional and polite during both my encounters with him. I would hire 1st Heating and Cooling again should I ever need to.
