Ryan came over within 2 hours of my initial call and inspected the system. He took the time to explain all of our options for repair or replacement and helped us understand how the system operates. In the end, we chose to replace both the furnace and air conditioning systems even though the expense was substantially higher. It just made sense. The best thing about Ryan is that he cares that you understand your options and what to expect under each scenario. He explains everything in detail and lets you make the best decision for your situation. Ryan came back with one of his guys the next day (Saturday) and did a temporary install so we could at least have heat in the house. His guys returned a couple days later and completed the full install of the system. It looks great, runs great, and I couldn't be happier. This company is being recommended to everyone I know.

When my old furnace needed repair, 1st Heating and Cooling came out and got it working. It was determined that I needed a new furnace. (I decided to replace the air conditioner, too.) They came out the next day and did a temporary install so that I had reliable heat. When they returned to do the permanent installation, on a day and time that was most convenient for me, they arrived on time, put covers on their shoes (when I said not to worry, they told me that's what is expected of them by Ryan, the owner), put drop cloths down to protect my carpet and got to work. They worked non-stop in rainy, cold weather and when they were finished, you could not tell there had been major work done in my basement and outside! 1st Heating and Cooling has friendly, reliable and knowledgeable staff (and they know how to clean too!) I would highly recommend them for all of your heating and cooling needs.

Very pleased with work performed. Ryan even came out himself the night before install because my old furnace gave out. New furnace is great. I would use 1st Heating & Cooling again and can highly recommend them.

Great, they had the job done in 2 days, were efficient and professional. Ryan (the owner) was fair with his pricing and did a great job of giving options for the type of furnace and filter and was honest about the benefits of one system over another and didn't push one way or another.

Wonderful. Humidifier was working but wasn't set correctly. They did do maintenance on it by cleaning it and installing a new pad. The heater was maintained and in good shape. It was new last year, installed by 1st Heating & Cooling. They are very clean and aware of not tracking any dirt into and around the house. There were two service men.

I can't say enough good things about Ryan and 1st Heating and Cooling. I found this company on Angie's List after reviewing several others and reading comments. I chose them because others had called them for second opinions and used their services over their first choice! I called mid-day on a Thursday with an urgent, no-heat situation. The receptionist listened intently and asked if she could call me back after contacting the service tech about my situation. She returned my call within 10 minutes with a plan. I received a call from Ryan (the owner) within the next 15 minutes with a timeline for the service call. He arrived promptly, quickly went to work and quickly diagnosed the issue. Ryan was courteous, knowledgeable, and quickly tracked down special parts needed to repair my furnace. Unfortunately, the part was so specific, he had to wait until the next day to obtain it. I found him to be responsive and diligent. He returned the following day and again went right to work replacing a wheel blower and motor in my furnace. What was really impressive was the education he provided as he worked so that I understood exactly what was wrong, how he repaired it, why it may have happened, and just general knowledge about my furnace and how to maintain and trouble shoot problems in the future. In a climate when many businesses are just out for the almighty dollar, I found it honest and refreshing for him to take the care and time that he did. I had even done some of my own research to ensure his pricing was competitive. It was more than fair! I would whole-heartedly recommend 1st Heating and Cooling without a second thought and will definitely call on them again for future maintenance and repairs!

It was an excellent experience as they came while I was at work and installed the furnace and locked up and left. Very efficient and professional team that I would recommend to anyone needing service.

On time, clean, friendly and very professional, Ryan first walked me through some level one diagnosing over the phone. When it was clear the problem was more extensive he showed up ready to work at 10:00pm on a frigid night.

The repair visit went great. I explained to the tech(Wade Thomas) the problem I was having and he suggested doing a maintenance inspection. During the inspection, he found that the one of the two drains in my high efficiency furnace was clogged and was causing the furnace to continuously shutoff and restart. He fixed the problem and also noted that although my heat exchanger looked okay it was past the warranty and to have inspections done every year instead of every 2 years. He also inspected the humidifier and the air filter. Wade was very professional and it was obvious that he took great pride in the quality of his work and he was very personable in answering my questions. I will use them for my future spring A/C and fall furnace maintenance inspections.

Everything went great. Done on time and as expected. I'm very happy with them.

It went wonderful. They had everything in and out within 2 days.

All work was done better than expected, Ryan came on a Thursday evening gave me a quote and new furnace was up and running Friday afternoon so I had heat over the weekend. The central air unit was installed on the following Monday. They even fixed some duct work in my crawl space that was not done properly while they were running electrical for the central air.

Ryan, the owner gave a me a detailed quote and explained me about the whole system. He elaborated on the replacement process and time it will take. I got it replaced in Nov, so haven't tested it yet. However, they do have 2 year service warranty and if anything goes wrong they will be happy to help.

We just wanted to get the furnace looked at before we turned it on for the first time. However, we quickly found out that it much bigger issue. We were so happy to find Ryan and the rest of the guys. We ended up getting the furnace and A/C replaced. They were so thorough and made sure that we had everything that we needed. We could not be

I have used 1st Heating and Cooling to install new furnaces in two houses now. The professionalism, quality of service, and competitive pricing are outstanding. During the most recent install, there was an unrelated issue with a bad valve on my water heater. The owner, Ryan, came out the following day and replaced the valve at no additional charge. I will always call them for my HVAC needs.

First Ryan came out on the Friday before and found out the control board was bad when I thought it was the gas valve. Price to replace a gas valve was a couple hundred less than a competitor. Once they got the control board, Thoms came out to do the install and inspection. They were both very professional and personable. The inspection was thorough and he explained what he was looking at and for. We will definitely be calling them back in a couple years to do another check on the furnace. I highly recommend them to anyone needing HVAC work.

Ryan has installed a humidifier and fixed air conditioner and furnace issues in our home. He has always responded promptly and cheerfully He is knowledgeable and professional They recently installed a furnace in a friends house and they (friends) were very happy with the work and price. We highly recommend Ryan and 1st Heating and Cooling.

It went great. Very fast repair time and exceptional service. Money well spent. We discussed the rest of our HVAC system and some things to look out for. When it's time to replace our system I will be calling Ryan @ 1st Heating & Cooling for sure.

Staff was courteous and professional. Questions and concerns were addressed promptly. Operations manager handled submitting all warranty and rebate information with was an added bonus!

It went okay, nothing out of the ordinary. I don't believe that they charged anything besides $29. They gave us some information that we asked them to provide, but there wasn't anything extraordinary about the information or the service. From what I recall, I think, our impression was that they were trying to sort of argue to purchase a new furnace from them. We didn't think that that was the best for us.
