Furnace installation went well. No problems on mechanical side. There was an electrical wiring that needed to be revised later,due to a problem with pre-existing wiring in the home that didn't meet code and failed to pass electrical inspection the first time. The issue was resolved.

The technician was timely, polite, and very informative. He also gave me some items for recommended future repairs. I will be calling them again.

Our central air conditioner failed on a Friday night before a three day weekend. The holiday weekend was going to be hot and we thought we would have to bake until Tuesday. We called McCarver Mechanical Heating and Cooling based on Angie's List reviews and were surprised to find him willing to come out Saturday morning. Chris showed on time, was very pleasant and went to right work on the unit. He replaced the capacitor and checked the compressor, coil, fan and motor. Other than the part he replaced, the unit was fine. He wrapped up in less than an hour. I was expecting a holiday weekend premium in his pricing, but the whole project - parts labor and service call - was $207. He will have all of our heating and cooling business in the future.

This owner/operator is Great! I have been in customer service for 51years and he met ALL my expectations! Met all commitments, made smart recommendations, and beat all other quotes while providing 110% on quality, product, and performance.

Air was not working and he came within a couple hours to check it out. He found several leaks from the awful company that installed It a few months ago. He repaired it right away and got it up and running in no time. We will be calling him again when we are ready to put in a new furnace

The work turned out excellent. I would use them again.

There was very little that was routine or standard about what I asked them to do, but they did a great job taking ownership and making everything work and tie-together. The quality of their work was so high it has become an area in our house that visitors notice and ask about.

I called Chris's buddy Ryan. He said he could be there in half an hour. He was on time. Looked the situation over and gave me my options. Good straight forward discussion led me to choose a new furnace. We agreed on size, model and price. He left to get the furnace and some helpers. They removed the old unit. Put in the new one. Cleaned up everything and were gone by mid-afternoon. Great job. Great guys.

Chris was very efficient. He was straight forward with what work needed to be done and gave a reasonable price.

The heat was out at my daughter's house and I called Chris. He said he would be out in about two hours. Here was there on time. He checked the furnace and found it ok, then checked the thermostat and found it not functioning. He replaced it with a better product and my daughter had heat again for her two kids. Chris was very professional and prompt in in his work. He was honest about his work and I would hire him again in a nanosecond.

While moving a light switch in my kitchen, I found it was wired different from usual, and didn't work afterwards. The serviceman was efficient in repairing it, and positive about my attempt to change it out, and offered some advice on other projects I would be working on next.

Chris came over as promised and did a very professional job - he was polite and very knowledgeable.

Late in the evening, right in the middle of a cold snap, my furnace quit. My family and I made the best of it and doubled up on blankets to get through the rest of the night. I called Chris @ 7:00 in the morning and was happy to learn he was able to come out to my house by 10:00 am that same day. Chris called me back later, about 9:45 to let me know he was on his way and that he would be there by 10:00. I'm writing all this because I've dealt with many tradesmen that will not commit to a specific time, forcing me to take a full day off work, waiting around for them to show up. At the agreed time, Chris arrived and went to work immediately. He took his time to properly diagnose the issue with my furnace rather than just throwing parts at it. The offending valve was identified and fortunately he had a replacement on his truck. Problem solved within a half hour. Chris also took the time to look over some concerns I had with the other mechanical systems in my house and made some recommendations. To summarize, Chris was punctual, professional, showed a great tolerance for my questions and didn't seem to mind me looking over his shoulder while he worked. I will have Chris back for any other work needed in the future.

I purchased the inspection through Angie's List, and after the purchase called and made an appointment. They arrived on time and got to work. The technician did a very thorough job and went through the entire furnace. It all checked out OK, they recommended some things that might need to be replaced in the future, but did not pressure me to spend more money right now. I appreciated their honesty when I tried to pay them, and was reminded that I already paid (my memory is horrible). Overall very good, would definitely use them again.

Called McCarver Mechanical got an appt. the very next day. Air wasn't working in one of the hottest weeks of the summer!! Very perfessional. Showed up on time, very polite. Cleaned up his mess when he was finished! Definitely knew what he was doing!! Thank you Chris. Awesome job. Would definitely recommend him!!

Chris never asked for more money than he quoted. He did the job in one day. He removed our old furnace and cleaned up after himself.
