They came on time and did everything they said they would do.

Love Flame, they are always ontime, professional, and courteous. They show up when they say they're going to show up, and they have kept our a/c and furnace in great shape for many years now. Highly recommend them!!

You sign up to be a certain level of member, so they visit the house sporadically, and call to say that it is time for your check up. It is part of that program. The people who come are professional, and they are excellent. They are just so knowledgeable, so helpful, they do their job with a smile, they don't try to pinch you for extra money, they try to do what they can with what you have, and they are very honest. I really appreciate their honesty. When it comes to time, I will go through Flame, because he was so honest about what I needed, and I was appreciative of that.

The job went smoothly and very efficiently. After the job was completed, everything was neat and clean.

The service man was prompt and performed the required maintenance. HOWEVER...he felt it was ok to take a white hand towel that I had on my laundry tub and use it as a rag. A year ago another man felt it was ok to take a sharpie and write arrows on my humidistat. I think their employees are not very caring about your personal property.

They do a good job. We pay them 20$ a month for the contract. They were very professional and they seem to really know what they are doing. They are very efficient and they always help us when there is any problem.

Appointment was easy to set up, provider arrived on time and was courteous.

The experience with Flame Furnace was a complete disaster. The technician seemed like he was doing work, and each time I went down to the basement to check on progress he became more convinced there was some problem, and there was more perspiration on his shirt each time...which was really strange because he didn't seem like he was actually doing anything. Turns out he shut down our furnace and claimed that the furnace was emitting dangerous levels of carbon monoxide. He even attempted to show me how dangerous by showing me the readings on his meter (I subsequently learned that he was taking readings on the exhaust air, which of course has high levels of carbon monoxide.) So he refused to turn back on the furnace saying that we needed a new furnace since there was no way to repair the heat exchanger which apparently was cracked (the furnace was 12 years old). Then he had a salesman come and try to sell me a $3-4k new furnace. Being suspicious I called DTE and had them come and checked the furnace and they found no problems with the furnace nor any carbon monoxide readings. Additionally, I called Tri-County Home Inspectors and they suggested buying a new CO monitor and installing it right beside the furnace - which I did. I have had no problems since. So basically the technician at Flame Furnace was dishonest and the so-called "tune-up" was just a sales call that I paid for. I wouldn't recommend Flame Furnace for ANYTHING.

professional and did a great job despite bitter cold, wind and snow. Could I have gotten a lower price elsewhere? Probably - but I was willing to pay for the 24 hour service, the warranty, and professional installation.

The service man who came to clean the furnace was personable, professional and prompt. I would trust Flame with my furnace any time.

Air conditioner went out, called Flame. Sent repair person and was told the electrical box was not working. and needed to be replaced. And she should have a service contract in case anything else goes wrong. She signed up for the service contract and gave the repair person a blank check so that they could deduct the monthly charge from her account. The person came out and replaced the electric box. She paid approx. 800.00 for the service. The air conditioner did not work. She purchased a new air conditioner and furnace Approx. 6,000.00 The new equipment carries a one year warranty. They have been charging her checking account every month for the service contract. I have called several times on her behalf . The new equipment carries a one year warranty parts and labor. Why does she need a service contract for the first year? Mother in Law is 86

They did a good job. However, they failed to reset the humidistat at one house; and forgot to turn the furnace back on at the other house, resulting in a cold night and a re-call the following morning.

They contacted me promptly but it would take at least two weeks to be able to schedule the furnace cleaning. This is too long to wait for basic maintenance. I feel like that the companies on here offering deals that you pay in advance for should include an idea of when the service could be completed because if it would have said something like 2-3 week wait for service I would never have even considered it.

They called in advance, were on time and were pleasant to deal with. The job was more thorough than I expected. It seemed to me every detail was checked with state of the art equipment, and I was given an explanation for each check. I will certainly use them again

I had no problem with the repair man. He was actually a very nice person. I had a problem with the price. My gas regulator on my furnance went bad. The repair man explained everything that was wrong with the furnance. He cleaned and tighten everything on the furnance. I just wasn't prepared for the total price. He didn't have a gas regulator for my furnance and charged me $29.00 to go pick one up from the suppy store. He changed the thermo couple and he sold me a warranty contract for about $60.00. I was out of about $928.00 for the total service. I was also able to use a $20.00 coupon for being an angie list member. I googled the price of a gas regulator and most came to about $58.00 or less. I hope I am wrong but I think I've been screwed big time.

We have previously used flame in 3 other houses and had them replace a furnace, air-conditioner and hot water tanks. They are prompt and courteous. They clean up after their work. We have been pleased with the service from flame. They will probably not be the least expensive, but they will write a contract and tell you exactly what you are getting. The furnace and air we have bought have been on the upper end, 90% efficient. I have recommended them to others who have used them and have also been pleased. In a previous house, after a sewer backup, they came and took apart enough of the furnace so that I could clean the sewage from under it.

Great! I plan to employ the services of Flame in the near future.

I needed a fan wheel replaced ,he tried to sell me motor and blade($700.) because he could not remove the blade from the motor I told him i'll get it off the motor,so i took it in my shop took it apart and cleaned the motor gave it back to him so he could re assemble the furnace that is when he told he did'nt have the parts on the truck and he had to go to a parts distributor to get the fan wheel.When he returned he finished the job,now comes the worst part,he charged me $35. travel time to get the part on top of the price of the part. It was winter so i had to pay. UPDATE 9/25/13: This matter was resolved, they refunded some charges, I am satisfied with that.

They're prompt, they do what they say they were gonna do, they will give you a detailed estimate, they cleaned up after themselves and they've been reliable. You're paying for what you get. They don't sell bottom of the line equipment. This is the third house I've used them on. I've had other people who take my word and used them.

They are excellent. Considering the age of our home, they were able to get our system working. It's a lot quieter and the house is cooling off better. They also installed a nice thermostat that is easy to use. Their employess are very curteous and polite, covered their shoes and careful with the work they did.

As a woman, I don't know the difference between a broken heat exchanger or a carbon monoxide problem. I know who does. That is why I trust my family's safety to Flame Furnace. They are the experts!

They are top notch. I have used other companies and these guys are really experts in their field. I've never had any issues where someone had to come out and correct anything, They are great. They have always come on time, when you have an appointment you can set your watch by it.

The service is excellent. They are very conscientious, efficient, pleasant, and easy to deal with. I'm very happy with the service.
