They are very prompt. They are not the not the cheapest but they come with in 15 minutes of calling and do a good job.

Serviceman came on time and performed the usual summer maintenance. He cleaned the exterior of my a/c and changed filter on my furnace and dehumidifier. He cleaned up after himself. I am on the gold plan which allows for these maintenance service calls for free as part of the annual fee.

Everything was fine. They did what they were supposed to do and they were on time. Their prices were reasonable and I would use them again.

After he cleaned and checked over the furnace, it stopped working. They called me to do a follow up and they came back out to fix it and the same thing happened again. I ended up calling the people that put in the furnace and they found I needed a replacement part they ordered it and it was fixed.

They are very good. They have taken very good care of my furnace and my air conditioner. They do give senior citizen discounts.

The ducts were not cleaned for a long time. It was a big project. Their price was a little high, but they were reliable. They came out and told me how the ducts were. They did what they had come to do. They didn?t make a mess. They did a good job.

Came out on time. Was clean. Was professional.

Contractor came to my home for a bid on furnace replacement. He seemed eager though he did not stay long and took no technical information from my surrent boiler or heat pump. He did look over the existing ductwork, and focused in on the additional ductwork he said would be needed. I let him go through his process though informed him I cannot break the bank because of two college tuitions this fall. I have never heard from him regarding a quote, or follow-up visit.

They were timely in responding and fixed the problem the first time. They did a good job but they were a little pushy about promoting their yearly maintenance plan.

They are very responsive to my schedule, they are reliable and they always to what they are supposed to.

They are reliable and come at the time they say they will. They are personable. We set the appointment, and they work with our schedule. They clean up nicely.

The workers were very considerate and personable. They were here for two days, and I never had a problem with them. After finishing the job, the crew was very helpful in explaining how to use the new equipment.

I was so impressed with them that I sent a letter to the owner telling him about my experience. The technicians knew what they were doing. They spent extra time with me. They were also very professional and explained everything well. They also put booties on and put down plastic so they would not make a mess. I appreciated their service. I will continue to use them again in the future. In fact, I signed a contract with them to come four times per year for inspections. I have already recommended them to others.

They have great knowledge with older houses.

Installation took two days. The first day the old furnace was removed, new one installed and made operational enough to provide heat. Second day install of A/C, vent improvements, and humidifier. Although the company was prepared to finish the work with two half days I was comfortable enough to leave the workmen alone to finish the work on the second day while I went to work.

Terrible - they said we needed a new furnace and that the one we own now (previously purchased from them was out of warranty). Hired 2 other furnace companies to check the furnace - there was NOTHING wrong with it PLUS it was still under warranty. Salesman said their special financing program would end 11/15/07 (it actually ended 11/30/07). They used to be a good company. I think they must be hurting due to the local economic conditions. They owe us a refund for their "Gold" package and my payment for an additional inspection. No check has arrived yet. Senior citizens, watch out!! Always get a second opinion!!!!

Salesman was prompt, thorough, and courteous. Company seems very trustworthy & professional. Unfortunately their quote was nearly twice the cost quoted for the same job, by another A-rated firm here on Angie's List. After questioning the bid from Flame, they dropped their price substantially, but still were over $1500 more than the other company. I am sure that Flame would have done a great job, and if money was no object I may have used them.

I was pleased with how the repair went overall, once they got there, but that's about all I was pleased with. I had initially scheduled the appointment for the previous week but they never showed up. I wasted half a vacation day waiting. When I called to find out why they hadn't come yet, they discovered that my appointment had been made for THE YEAR 2000, NOT 2007. I understand that everyone makes mistakes, but I just don't understand why their computer system allowed that to happen. To make it up to me, they let me pick my day and time for my next appointment and waived the $94 service fee. In retrospect, I should have asked for more. But the repairman was promptly on time and completed the repair in about three hours, including time to go back to the office for a part. About two weeks later, I received a call from the president of the company asking me what went wrong. His real reason for calling was to try to sell me a maintenance plan. I thought that was slimy.

The work went very well. I was very satisfied with their company.

I am pleased with the work they did for me. They were on time and efficient. The furnace repair was a small fix and that was done at no extra charge, which I greatly appreciated.

We called and signed up for the on year service when we heard that this company was running a special. They offered one service call free of charge with our new contract. I think that is a great way to advertise, and plus they did a nice job, and were very friendly.

The Flame Furnace Company was very prompt in responding to me. I need them to work with my schedule and they had no problem with that. They are always neat and clean when they come to do a service.

They had to come back twice, they were excellent. They were courteous and professional.

OVERPRICED!!! Called Flame to fix furnace. Could not give me a time when they might show up, which required a full day off work. Tech showed up mid-day and diagnosed the problem in a few minutes. He went out to his truck and returned with a part (circuit board) and a large three-ring binder containing pricing information. I was told the cost would be a total of $573.00.!! He would not break down the cost of parts and labor, stating that they have only a few price tiers, and all repairs fall into one of the tiers. Since it was freezing that day, I told him to go ahead and fix it (after I let him know what I thought of his employer--not him personally). He then tried to sell me a $220.00 1 year ''inspection'' plan, and a $595.00 humidifier. I called to complain to the owner, who actually said he was thinking of raising his prices. Part cost from three different sources was $104.00 to $118.00, leaving over $200.00 per hour for labor. This is not brain surgery!!!!
