Dr. Sweep, Inc.

Dr. Sweep left a huge mess in my back yard after repairing our chimney. I have cement and brick all over the place. They told me they would send someone out to clean it up but i guess not. They have the worst communication skills with people. They left a pile of bricks in front of my house for three days because their employee didn’t have the appropriate vehicle to take it. I’m so disappointed with how we were treated with them, I will never use them again.

They did great job on cleaning the chimney. Showed up on time and the project was completed in reasonable time.

Hired them to do a chimney inspection. Tech shows up on time without a ladder or flashlight or any other tools. Does a quick look up the chimney using his cell phone for a light. He "inspects" the exterior while standing in the driveway. This is a two story house. 22 minutes after he pulled into the driveway he hands me a report and a bill for $99. What a waste of time and money.

I am an investor and we purchased a home with 2 fireplaces. One of the dampers was stuck in the closed position and I hired Dr Sweep to troubleshoot the issue, repair as necessary and sweep the flue. They were quick clean and efficient with their work. Subsequently we hired them to install a gas log set in one of the fireplaces and the installation crew was a delight to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs these types of services.

He showed up on time, cleaned & inspected the fireplace in our new home, made sure my husband was comfortable getting the pilot lit, as it is an older gas fireplace, & gave him a quote for the additional work/updates that should be done. Overall good experience.

The office didn't explain that it was just a sweep, for the money. There was glazed on creosote that is still there. I cannot afford to pay to have it removed.

Chimney repair and cap went on and looks good.
