The experience was very good overall! They came out to give me an estimate on a Friday, and within 48 hours, I had a written estimate. I had another company working at the time, and they worked with that other company to make sure everyone was able to get their jobs done. They cleaned up nicely afterwards.
Description of Work: They replaced some drywall.

Overall, the job met and exceeded our expectations.
Description of Work: The job was excellent and timely. The carpenters did a terrific job installing the crown molding, and the painters were very professional and hard working. They arrived on time and the job was done within the indicated time. I would use this company again for future painting jobs. The paint style suggestions made by Justin and the supervisor were much appreciated.

Kevin, performed the work in our bathroom beautifully! He went above and beyond our expectations! He is very experienced and a fun conversationist. He cleaned up after himself and left it looking better than before he started. It was a true pleasure having Kevin, in our home.
Description of Work: We had them install three sheets of drywall and four sheets of cement board in our bathroom. We did our own demolition and purchased our own drywall and screws to help cut cost.

They did an excellent job. Room looks much better now as a result of their work. It took a total of 3 days which was rather reasonable given the scope of the work involved.

We live in a large home in Novi and have a walkout basement that we were finishing to use for business purposes. I'm one of those people that love to research everything and, for this project, I happen to be doing most of the work myself... except drywall. I called probably 6 different companies to get estimates. What I liked most about Multi Drywall (aside from the great price - and they were not the lowest, but they were close) was their willingness to put up with me working in the basement at the same time and staying out of their way. They repeatedly told me they were grateful for the work and if I ever had a problem with anything they would take care of me. I had zero issues on this job. Honestly, I had no idea what to expect in terms of punctuality and professionalism but I was impressed by both. They showed up when they said they would be there and the work was done VERY quickly. They had all the drywall totally hung in about 3.5 hours. We have a 1500 square foot walkout, that's insane!! Eventually after giving the entire job a thorough inspection, I took issue with only one minor part (my wife found it, actually) that needed to be addressed and Bob came back and fixed it himself. They even left us with some spare drywall in case I needed it for other projects. Re: the price... there was one guy we had (one of the reputable builders in our area, and a much larger remodeling company overall) who quoted me over $5k just for the drywall!!! Multi Drywall did my drop ceiling AND my drywall for that price. I was 110% satisfied.
Description of Work: Bob and the crew from Multi Drywall did a complete drywall, mud, sand, and prep for paint in our 1500 square walkout basement and also installed our drop ceiling! What we had them do was what I would consider to be a large residential job.

Great experience and I absolutely HATE having drywall repair done. I'd rather pack up and move than have it done...but, this was a different experience. Justin told me to please call them if I wasn't happy with any of the work - they would come back and fix it...but everything looks great! I would definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I called to set up an appointment for an estimate and left a message. Justin called me back that evening and came over the next day to give me an estimate. He spent time going from room to room and measuring, gave me suggestions and explained the process. The estimate was e-mailed to me the next day and we scheduled the work to begin on Monday of the following week. Unfortunately, we had a death in the family - I phoned Justin on our way out of town...he made it very easy to reschedule the start date, which I appreciated. We began the next week - his crew came in and covered everything with plastic and got started. They were here on time each morning, all very friendly and professional; all were hard workers. They repaired several areas in our home - some areas had to have drywall replaced. This was scheduled to be a three day job and at the end of each day, they removed their plastic and cleaned up everything they possibly could. On the third day, Justin was looking over the work and was not satisfied with how one of the areas turned out. He apologized but said it was going to be redone. They came back on Monday morning and finished that day. They also repaired some extra cracks, etc., that were not in the estimate...at no extra charge. They also painted the ceilings in our kitchen, family room, office and bedroom. They didn't look this good when we moved into our house (and it was new) 13 years ago. I have a two year old Sheltie who wanted to follow them around...even though I tried to keep him busy and out of their way...they were all very good about watching out for him so we wouldn't follow them out the door.

From start to finish, Multi-Drwyall and Partition was top notch. Justin, the foreman for our job, was very easy to work with and did whatever he could to ensure that we were happy. The process starts with an estimate and goes all the way through clean-up. The job started when Justin said it would and was finished by the time he originally stated, at the quoted price. Our job was a basement finishing job of about 1200sqft, with 9ft ceilings, and 6 rooms. Most of the ceilings were drywalled except for the mechanical and storage rooms. The first day was delivery day, and this took about two hours. The next day the hanging crew came and all the board was on the wall by the end of that day. The next seven days was mud, tape, and sanding. I'm sure at least 3 layers of mud were troweled onto the walls by the end of the project. There were 4 crews doing different things over the span of our job, and these guys worked hard! When they were finished, the mud was feathered so far out - around all the recessed lights, electrical outlets, speakers, plumbing, etc. - that it is impossible to tell where any of the joints, screw holes, or corners are. Everything looks perfectly flat. I do have to let you know that this drywall is installed over steel studs which allow the finish to be at this level. Regardless, the finish on the rock that Multi-Drywall installed in our basement looks better than what was done in the rest of our house! I haven't seen a drywall job finished to this level in quite a while... As a bonus, Justin came at the end of the job and vacuumed up all the dust he could. I would, and have, highly recommend Multi-Drywall to anyone! High quality work and a great price!

Overall we were very happy with the work. Everyone was friendly and courteous. Justin, the project manager, was especially helpful and went above and beyond in helping to paint the fireplace with a faux finish to get the look we wanted. We would definitely use this company again for drywall and for painting.
Description of Work: We had to refasten the drywall on our ceiling, Multi Drywall came in and filled and sanded the entire ceiling and also repaired some previous patch jobs that were not good. Then they painted the ceiling and the walls and fireplace in a very large area.

I called Multi Drywall and left a message on the answering machine. That day, Spencer (the owner) called back and scheduled a time to come look at the project. He was prompt, friendly, competent and interested. A day later, he sent me a quote by email, and the work started a couple of days later. The work crew was on time, considerate of my house and family, quick, and very efficient. Within 3 hours, the crew of four people had all the drywall hung. The next day, Mike came to tape and mud the drywall. He came back a couple of days later to apply the final mudding. He is, BTW, a really wonderful guy- nice, fast, friendly, considerate, and incredibly skilled at what he does. He then returned after the weekend to sand, prime and clean up. The final job looks flawless, and the cleanup was amazing. All left-over supplies and trash were removed, and I am thrilled with the quality of the job and the entire experience. I would highly recommend Multi Drywall and be sure to ask for Mike.

Our initial consultation was with a customer service rep named Dan. He was punctual and friendly, and he was helpful in pointing out things we could do to prepare before the job started, such as treating and priming a rusty area above the shower, and finding and patching a hole in the brick exterior of the house that may have been causing water damage to one of the drywall spots we were having repaired. He emailed the completed quote within a couple days of the consultation. Once we decided to go with Multi Drywall, we were able to schedule an appointment just two days after we called. Unfortunately, there was some sort of mix up and our appointment didn't make it on the official schedule for that day like it was supposed to. We rescheduled for the following day. Once the scheduling snafu was worked out, our drywall/painting specialist, Justin, arrived five minutes early and got right to work. Beside being very punctual, Justin was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, thorough and genuinely seemed interested in doing whatever it took to satisfy the customer. For example, there were a few small drywall spots that weren't part of the original project scope. Justin noticed them and, since he already had to sand and mud other spots in the general area, they were not much of a bother for him to quickly patch them as well. Throughout the job he also constantly communicated what he was doing and solicited our feedback, making sure everything was to our liking. While he was sanding drywall Justin also took great care in keeping the dust to a minimum. He made "cocoons" out of plastic to contain the fallout. He was very thorough in the taping and laying plastic at the start of the job, and in the cleanup afterward. The job itself took place over three days. The first day Justin did all the taping and mudding. The second day he sanded the dried mud and painted the ceiling in the areas we were having painted. The final day concluded with two coats of paint on the walls and some final sanding and touchup. He arrived each day promptly at 8am or little before and wrapped up by early afternoon. We were very happy with the way everything turned out. Before learning drywall, Justin was a painter with many years experience, so both his drywall and painting were very good. That, along with his good attitude, work ethic, and genuine desire to delight his customers, leads us to definitely recommend Multi Drywall & Partition. Justin even left us with his phone number with instructions to call him if anything needed touching up!
Description of Work: We have been remodeling our master bathroom and, while we weren't redoing any drywall, we did remove a soffit approximately 4' x 1' x 1' that left a void where new drywall needed to be installed. Removing baseboard trim left some areas where the drywall needed to be patched as well. We cut and attached drywall pieces where the soffit had been, but when it came to time to tape and mud we decided to go with professionals. Since they offer painting services, we decided to get a quote from them to paint our upstairs hallway, too, especially the high portion above the stairs difficult to reach except by leaning a ladder out over the stairs. There were a few drywall cracks and dents on our first floor that we had them quote as well. The scope of work: Upstairs bath Mud drywall installed by homeowner above vanity Patch three holes in bathroom at floor Spot entire bathroom (touchup) including skimming of wall where mirror removed and paper/towel bar removed Paint upstairs hall, stairwell and foyer. Paint walls and ceiling to cover Foyer - patch 2 holes Repair seams in west corner of family room

Arrival for first estimate was quick, price was much better than a couple of other contractors I contacted. The guys were on time and courteous. They did the work for the original estimate so well, I hired them to do a second project I have been meaning to do for a long time. It was a custom job where nothing was a standard size. It turned out great. I will hire these guys in the future and would highly recommend them.
Description of Work: I had a flood in my basement. There was a section of drywall 12" high by 14' that needed to be patched in. All of the base trim needed replacement and half a dozen corners needed touch up from the removal process a week earlier.

Overall experience was very good. A phone call was retuned same day I left message requesting an estimate. An appointment was scheduled for someone to look over repairs. An email with estimate was promised. There was a glitch in email communication which was addressed. Also, the actual repair was scheduled between 8:00-8:30 AM. I called the person who had done the estimate and scheduling. He did get back with me to let me know that the person was on his way. He arrived around 10:00 AM. The individual who did the repair was professional. His work was excellent and he was very neat.

We couldn't be happier. You can't tell there was ever a hole there. We've had drywall patches done in the past and I'd recommend these guys over anyone else we've worked with. Courteous and friendly, I was very happy to have them working in our house and, on top of that, their work is top notch.

Great. Guys showed up around 9:30 - 10 AM and finished before 3 PM. They left open the spaces I needed for lights and created a great stairway angle tile look. Very well done. Would and probably will call them back again. Will recommend as well. Saved me a great deal of time, effort and probably 10 trips to the home improvement store.
