An excellent experience from start to finish. Dennis knows his stuff, does more than he's required to do, and does it with a high degree of professionalism. I am delighted with his work and recommend him highly.

I had work done on my chimney before too. The chimney sweep did a great job. The price that he charged was competitive and he was very professional. I don't have any complains and I would use his services in the future too without any doubt. In fact, I am going to use his services more often in this winter, as I am planning on getting more work done.

We had a previous repair done by another company a few years ago and it was falling apart. Dennis was able to do the work 10 days earlier than estimated and made every effort to accomodate my schedule. He clearly explained what needed to be done and the work was done exactly as estimated. He went above and beyond by replacing a second story screen for us that had been sitting on our back patio (for lack of a ladder) and repairing a hole in our patio awning caused by the prior company. He inspected several other areas of the brick that I was concerned about and assured me that repairs were not needed. Everything was cleaned up perfectly. Dennis is caring and conscientious and I would definitely do business with this company again.

I was happy with the construction company. They were punctual and professional. The job went very well from start to finish. They were easy to work with and their work was good.

His work was outstanding. He did a previous job of repairing some broken bricks on the front of my house. I didn't even bother to call anyone else. He is that good! i usually don't go into too much detail about people who have done similar projects, but I can't say enough about him as person, as well as the excellent work he does.

The work was weather dependent and it was accomplished as soon as the weather was clear. Dennis arrived on time and went right to work. The job took about 3 hours and he showed me the work when he was done.

Excellently, he was prompt, courteous, efficient, and neat.

The surface of the brick used on our home flakes off due to weathering and has had to be replaced a couple of times in the past. Dennis provided a reasonable estimate for the work and materials for the extensive repair required this time. He used some of good original bricks from the chimneys to replace the bricks at various places around the house. His work is so good that we can't tell which bricks were replaced. The clean up was so well done that you could not tell that any work had been done.

I called for an estimate and he came out the same day. He looked over the job and gave me suggestions of what could be done to repair a failing foundation on the porch. After deciding on his ideas he gave me a written estimate within minutes. He was out and completed the job in one day.

He called a couple of days before he came out and called the day before he was scheduled, to give me a time. he arrived early and went right to work. He found some extra cracked bricks that I overlooked and repaired them at no charge. I don't know where he got them from but the replacement bricks perfectly matched the existing ones. In fact, the only way I could tell where the work was done was by the still wet mortar. the next day I couldn't find the repair. He cleaned up around the work area, leaving no trace he was there. I'm very satisfied with D L Gardner Construction and wouldn't hesitate to call him for any brick and mortar repairs.

He arrived on-time and performed the work as quoted. He matched the mortar with the existing color and cleaned up afterwards. The exterior walls look great.

MY CHIMNEY CROWN HAD BEEN DETERIORATING THE PAST FEW YEARS SO I CONTACTED DENNIS GARDNER TO GET AN ESTIMATE FOR REPLACING IT. HIS ESTIMATE WAS PROMPT AND REASONABLE. WE SCHEDULED THE WORK AND WHEN HE WAS DELAYED AT THE JOB PREVIOUS TO MINE HE CALLED TO LET ME KNOW - VERY COURTEOUS. HE ARRIVED WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD AND THE FIRST THING HE DID WAS PUT DOWN RUBBER PADS TO PROTECT THE ROOF AND THE PATIO BELOW IT. HE THEN EXPLAINED WHAT HE INTENDED TO DO. AFTER 2 COURSES OF BRICK WERE REMOVED HE LAID A BED OF MORTAR AND INSTALLED THE NEW PRECAST CEMENT CROWN. AFTER COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION HE REMOVED THE DEBRIS AND WASHED DOWN THE SHINGLES TO GET RID OF ANY CEMENT THAT HAD FALLEN ON THEM. A NEAT, CLEAN, AND PROFESSIONAL JOB AT A REASONABLE PRICE. WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK FOR!!! THANKS DENNIS.

I called Gardner construction for an estimate on my home fireplace chimney repair. Mr. Gardner came out at the day and time scheduled, and gave me an estimate. He stated he would be the person doing all of the work and could start the job in about 10 days if I was interested. I also got an estimate from another company on Angie's list and it was much higher than the D. L. Gardner estimate. I scheduled the job with Gardner construction to begin in about 10 days, and I asked Mr. Gardner if he could stop by before starting the work to answer a few more questions. He said he would, and he came out about a week later and then said he could start the job the following day. He seemed honest and sincere. While he was doing the job, he also said he would replace a couple of bricks in the lower part of the chimney that were crumbling. It took about one and a half days to complete the job. I was satisfied with the quality of the work and he did exactly what was scheduled to be done. He cleaned up the area reasonably well when he was finished with the work.

He was excellent and very accommodating and I was able to pay over a 2 month period.

They were very professional and extremely nice. They worked all day long without any breaks that I saw.

I interviewed 6 companies and I chose him on his mannerisms. He seemed to be the most confident, polite and professional. He did all the work himself. He was very good and I would recommend him to anyone.

We were very pleased with all work. He did what he said he would and in a timely manner. The price was good in comparison to other quotes we got.
