I am so happy I hired DL Gardner construction for my project. My chimney was crumbling and needed repair. Dennis worked with my schedule and got the job done quickly and efficiently. The results are absolutely beautiful. I compared my job with my neighbor’s new chimney and mine is by far better looking all around. He cleaned up everything when he was done and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. I would definitely recommend DL Gardner and would not hesitate to hire him again for other jobs should they arise.

Dennis was amazing to work with. We asked him to come out and do a full inspection on both of our chimneys, as we were experiencing a leak in one of them at the time, and knew that the other had displaced bricks - which later began leaking as well. (Our luck.) He promptly provided us with an estimate that was very detailed and explained exactly what he saw / what he recommended for us. We had other companies provide quotes just for comparison, and his inspection was by far the most thorough. On the day he was scheduled to come out, we had a family emergency and asked to please reschedule if possible; this was clearly not planned on our part. He was so understanding, and we can't thank him enough for that. The work he performed shortly thereafter was much like his inspection - incredibly thorough. He walked me around the house, explained what he did, and he cleaned up very well. He even fixed a piece of brick that kept falling out near our garage as a kind, extra gesture. I'd highly recommend Dennis to anyone looking to have their chimney inspected and repaired. He's a no-nonsense kid of guy that shoots it straight with you. He does all of his own work, and works hard. Thank you so much, Dennis, for helping my family out, and for being so understanding when we had to reschedule.

Mr. Gardner does great work! He's very professional, quick to respond, charges a fair price, and leaves the work place perfectly clean. I highly recommend him for any brick work someone needs done. Our roof is very steep with a pool and power line in the way and he handled all the obstacles like a pro.

Impressive........... I had a chimney sweep, clean my chimney and they estimate repairs at 2200.00 after stating I needed a new liner, chimney cap and more. I contacted D.L. and after an inspection it was determined that I only needed the top portion of the chimney liner replaced along with the crown and a chimney cap. $400.00.. I contracted them , the repair was completed, I was shown the replaced parts and all of this on time.. It was a pleasure to work with such a professional tradesman and a trustworthy one.

We needed a lot of bricks replaced on our chimney due to spalling and were very satisfied with the work that Dennis did. When he quoted the job, he noted that the brick size used on our chimney was no longer available and he was not sure if he could find something suitable. We also heard this on the other quotes we received. However, Dennis was the only one willing to go the brickyard and see what was available without being promised the job. He ended up finding a good match, but the brick was larger than the ones being replaced so he needed to double cut every brick to match the size. The end result worked out very good. He was always on-time, cleaned and removed everything after the job was done, and was always professional. We were so pleased with his work, we hired him to replace all our porch bricks the next week.

Dennis came to inspect our chimney and give us a quote within a few days after we called him. A number of the chimney bricks had pieces breaking off the faces. Dennis gave us a quote for cutting out and replacing selected bricks and one to rebuild the whole chimney. Since there were quite a few bricks flaking off, we opted to have him rebuild the whole chimney. When we called Dennis to schedule the work he told us it would be a couple weeks and he would call to schedule the exact date, which he did about three days before his proposed work date. He arrived as scheduled. We had a number of brick that had been left when the house was built, which Dennis inspected and used most of them. He finished the work within the day and cleaned up all debris.

From our very first contact with Dennis, he has been absolutely wonderful to work with. Quick to respond to our initial inquiry, he is the consummate professional; he is knowledgeable, insightful & patient when answering questions. Dennis & his partner Teono work with an eye towards detail & thoroughness; you can trust in the fact that they are going to do things right. They consistently arrived when expected, worked hard all day & cleaned up after themselves. The areas in which they needed to work are heavily landscaped. They did an amazing job of being careful not to disturb the myriad of flora & fauna, treating our yard as if it were their own. Both gentlemen are warm & friendly, a delight to work with. The finished product is simply beautiful. We are proud to show off the work they have done & grateful to them for helping make ours the dream home we've always hoped it would be. I should mention that we've been so pleased with their work that we've already contracted with them to do a job at my mother's rental house, & we plan to have them come back in the summer to create a custom patio for us.

It went great. Dennis is a nice guy who knows what he is doing. His schedule is a bit backed up. I waited awhile to get him but it was worth the wait. I would rather hire a busy guy rather than someone looking for a job. I would definitely recommend Dennis.

Mr Gardner gave an approximate day that he would be free to do my job but then was able to come a few days sooner. He came prepared and dove into the job and finished it quickly. He even did some extra work on my porch that was not on the original proposal and refused to take any extra money for it. He cleaned up completely and left the house looking like new. And our brick work was not easy to match but he did a remarkable job to have the new bricks blend in. Mr Gardner was polite and professional from beginning to end. I will certainly hire him again for this kind of work.

Rebuilt the top 6 rows of my house's chimney. Good work, good finished appearance, good clean up. I am glad that I have gotten this needed repair completed. I found Mr. Gardner to be reliable and professional and am comfortable recommending him to others.

Dennis did a great job with repairing our chimney. He did the work at an extremely reasonable price, was quick and left a clean worksite.

Total inspection of chimney. Removed old collar and Installed new collar at top of chimney. Replaced and pointed masonry between bricks on chimney.

D L Gardner delivered as promised. Dennis cautioned me when I first called that it might take a few weeks before he could come out. That was acceptable to me since his work was highly rated on Angie's List. He did come out when he said he could, quoted a fair price, was very accommodating of my own scheduling needs, and to all appearances his work was very high quality.

Dennis did a great job. He gave me a quote, told me that he would be able to do the work in about two weeks, called me on a Friday and scheduled for the following Monday. The work took two days as promised, and the price was the same as the quote. He cleaned up and removed all materials. Very professional.
