Description of Work: Our house was converted from Propane to Natural Gas and we needed our fireplace changed as well. Went to the store based on other reviews. Store personel were helpful, found that I only need a new burner, not new logs. Was told that I would be contacted for an install date within a few days. Did not get a call, called the store several times, they said they would call the scheduler, then finally gave me the number call them, still no response. I only got a call from the installer to schedule after I left a message at the store telling them to cancel my order. The store never called back to check to see if the installation was scheduled or to confirm cancelation of my order. Very unprofessional. Once I got it scheduled it went very well. Installer called when he was on his way, worked quickly, cleaned up after himself and was very professional.

Description of Work: Fireside converted my 35-yr-old wood burning masonry fireplace to gas |with a Heat'N'Glow Gas Insert. The installation went well and the installers were polite and professional. There was a little mix-up with the initial quote and the final quote due to a major item left off the original quote. They did discount the major item after I complained. |I trust them enoungh to come out and do the yearly inspection and refresh which I just scheduled.

Description of Work: Fireside personnel from the sales to the install were prompt, polite, professional AND personable. The job was performed for less than the initial bid and when some of the components arrived damaged they worked to resolve the problem quickly and efficiently. We worked with Tia at the store on Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak merely blocks from our house and were thrilled to be able to keep our business local and out of the big box! Keep up the good work Fireside!
