Description of Work: I had a service rep from the company come to my home for an estimate. I had in mind flooring for my kitchen and/or bathroom. When the service rep came out, he told me that neither flooring could be installed for the amount of my coupon. I wasn't surprised about the kitchen, but the bathroom is very tiny. I asked him if there was any service he could perform for $150.00 (the value of my coupon), such as remove the existing tiles from my bathroom floor. He said no, nothing. He did not suggest any other pricing or alternatives and left. This was my first experience purchasing a service online. Time went on and I forgot about it, truthfully. I just renewed my Angie's list membership and saw that The Carpet Guys were included in previous purchases. I am asking if there is a possibility of a refund due to the fact that nothing ever came of the visit from the service rep. I do not recall the date of the service call. Description of Work: After a high pressure sales situation, I ordered carpet at 8:30 on a Wednesday evening even telling them, "I don't want to do this right now. I want to shop, and will probably even be canceling. The salesmen assured me they would be back the next day so I could look in the daylight. Didn't hear back from him until late Thursday. I told him to cancel, and he said I had to call the office the next morning. When I called to cancel I was told that the manager I needed to talk to was in a meeting and would call me back in 45 min. I called again an hour later, and was told the same thing. I called again, and was told the same thing, but I insisted on talking to someone. The next person who took the phone hung up on me. The paper I signed was dated 3/11, and said I had 3 days to cancel by mail or in person. Since I felt like I was running out of time with the weekend coming and a Monday morning installation scheduled, I decided to drive an hour to Madison Heights to finish the cancellation. My deposit check was already cashed. I went to the address posted on Angie's list, the internet, and their paperwork, but Carpet Guys had moved out of that building. Another flooring company was in that space. Fortunately there was a man there who gave me the new address which was a few miles away. I talked to a very apologetic manager, who assured me of how sorry he was and that he would make our refund a priority. He even offered to put in my carpet at a loss to keep me happy. I declined. The paperwork said it would take up to 10 days for cancellations to see a refund. It's now 19 days since I tracked them down to sign, and I still do not have my $900 back. I believe they made it nearly impossible to cancel the order on time. Had I mailed the notice, it would have gone to the wrong address, the installation crew would have been at my house on Monday, and they would have probably demanded payment for the rest. I FELT MANIPULATED AND LIED TO. CHECK THE ADDRESS FOR CARPET GUYS.

Description of Work: The Carpet Guys installed brand new carpeting throughout our whole house. Our salesman, Larry Martin was great!! Larry didn't try to push more expensive carpeting on us, he was upfront, and went over everything step by step. The office staff was wonderful about contacting us when they said they would, they followed up when the job was completed. The guys that installed our carpet did a fantastic job. They were prompt, courteous, and professional. We will definitely use them for any future carpet needs, and we have already referred them to family and friends.

Description of Work: They did an awesome job. They pulled up my old carpet, cleaned the area, laid the new carpet very neatly and vaccum after they laid the carpet. Carpet Guys did a great job. They was fast, professional, and the carpet is a great quality.

Description of Work: the carpet looks really good. There was an issue with the installation (they did not follow my initial request). The fix while not what I had originally wanted looks good. Also had lineoleum installed in the basement - cut around drain was not very well done. The rest looks good. You get what you pay for. More expensive carpet company I had previously did a better installation job but this carpet looks good

Description of Work: Installed vinyl flooring in kitchen, breakfast nook and laundry room. Put on shoe molding where they weren't supposed to. Had to call them back because they incorrectly rehung a closet door and the metal strips from flooring to carpet had to be redone. I just found a piece of flooring in front of the sink which had been sliced and not glued down.

Description of Work: The crew I had David, Brad and Auston, were great. the did a great job, but had to work thru the power outage and use the generator to finish the job. They went above and beyond. They were great

Description of Work: We are still waiting to have the floors installed because we were going on a trip when they had an opening (our fault not theirs). Prices were a little higher than I wanted to spend. Sales guy tried to help get the cost down, but in the end we went with the quote as it was still cheaper than every other quote. Cannot speak to the quality of the work or materials yet, but if the professionalism of the firm is any indication, I don't think I will be disappointed.

Description of Work: The installers were fanastic. They got here, did the padding and laid the carpeting we ordered. Before they left they let me know it was a lifetime warranty if I had any problems. We will be contacting them in the fall to do another room for us. Letting my friends know how good this company is.

Description of Work: Helpful salesperson who was punctual, polite, and happy to answer all our questions, they offer 1 year same as cash financing.
