Description of Work: Poor quality carpet kept shedding fibers....when I called, they told me to get down on hands and knees and snip them off with scissors ! That was 18 months ago and it is still shedding. I called them 3 times and got no help or follow up or offer to take a look at it.

Description of Work: A representative from The Carpet Guys came out to my house on Wednesday the 20th. He measured my space, showed me some carpet choices (we're selling the house so we were looking for an inexpensive neutral color carpet) and gave me the quote. The price he quoted me at was over $1000 less than another company I had come out so I signed the agreement that day and scheduled installation for that Friday the 22nd. On the 21st someone from The Carpet Guys called to tell me that they would be out the next day between 9 and 11 am. Sure enough they arrived on the 22nd around 9:45 am. My boyfriend was at the house during the installation and he said the men that came out were very friendly and professional. The installation only took a few hours and the guys did a great job! I even got a call later in the day to make sure I was satisfied with the work. It was over all one of the easiest and best experiences I've ever had with a service provider. I will definitely recommend The Carpet Guys in the future!

Description of Work: The salesman underestimated the time it would take. I was unhappy with the molding replaced but it was then replaced to my satisfaction.

Description of Work: After sales rep delay reported to co., management immediately took over to do whatever necessary to complete my schedule and adjusted price to reimburse for initial delay. Sent special installers.

Description of Work: We had a 10x20 room installed with tack strips,padding and carpet. Excellent insallation. Also, the sales rep took time to show us lots of samples. We would use the Carpet Guys again.

Description of Work: Seams are coming apart and service people complained the whole time they were here. I would never recommend this company, I kept asking for printed info because I didn't want polyester carpet and that is what I got.

David and Tom are perfectionists; our job turned out to have more issues than expected, David and Tom worked through the issues without complaint and finished the job still smiling.

Description of Work: Installed carpet in my basement. I wasn't there at the time of installation but I heard they were very polite and no mess when I got home

Description of Work: Installed padding and carpet for 1100sf, including 3 sets of stairs. Price included materials, labor, moving of all furniture, and disposal of old padding/carpet. The crew of 4 was exceptionally polite, arrived early, and finished within 6 hours, taking very few breaks. Install workmanship is guaranteed for life, if there are snags, needs to be stretched, etc they will come out for free to repair. Highly recommend for both quality and price

Description of Work: Carpeted two rooms and stairs. It took a lot longer then predicted. Carpet for one room was cut wrong so they had to leave to get another piece.

Description of Work: Replaced vinyl flooring with vinyl wood look floor. First the installers were great, very nice and always on time. With that said I have 5 mentionable issues. 1) Next day install was only for products in house. I could not get installation before a mother's day event in 4 days. 2) I did not care for the sales technique. I expected to see the product with prices, measure the rooms and make a decision using this information. I never saw the prices of the product. Instead I was asked how much did I want to spend??? When $5400 was too much, the salesmen re-measured the rooms. Did this mean the room was measured wrong??? The new cost was $3900. When I was hesitant to the price, the manager was called to approve my suggested price. 3) I used a credit card for the purchase. The salesman originally said I only had to put down partial payment instead the only thing showing on his phone approval was the full $3500. After the signature the salesman realized I had paid the whole thing in full. 4) The installers were given the option to keep or remove the old flooring. They (of course) opted to keep the old floor in most of the rooms and clean up the pieces of old flooring left after I removed the floors in the office. The office floor looks fantastic. The rest of the floors have pockets of air, lines, etc. It is acceptable since the room is basically a playroom but not the best work. 5) The installers did not put up boaders around the office because the drywall did not have base boards. I wish someone would have told me that. While fixing the stairs the carpenter could have added base boards before the install.

Description of Work: Removed the original carpet and installed the new ones from the 2 rooms, passage and stairs.
