I loved home sales they were very helpful , no driving around. The installation was very professional . The last call was very difficult with a lot of appliances so they showed up late. I love my carpet every day . Never buy a dark carpet . It will be the worst mistake of your life. Your will see every white fuzzy and you will have to vacuum a lot and not enjoy it. I love this company.

Very prompt service, I got call backs immediately and they sent someone to my home with a ton of samples. She helped me narrow down my choices and we found a good carpet that was in stock. I had just painted my master bedroom and my second floor was completely torn up. I was anxious to get the room carpeted after I had painted it so I could put my room back in order. They came out 3 days later and moved all my (very heavy) bedroom furniture out, removed the old carpeting, bundled it up and took it to the curb and laid the new carpet. They then put all my furniture back in the room and vacuumed up after themselves. I hadn't finished painting the second bedroom so they scheduled a second appointment to come back and carpet my spare bedroom. They came out 2 days after I called them to carpet the second bedroom. They were all very professional and did a wonderful job laying the carpet. It has been a long time since I paid for carpeting so I was in a little sticker shock over the price to carpet two bedrooms although both rooms are large. I was happy to pay one price and have everything done for me (move furniture, take up old carpet, etc.) Overall, very happy with the experience.

The 2 installers were unbelievable. I had never seen carpeting installed before. The whole process was quick and professional. They had to put in a couple of seams and it is impossible to tell where the carpet was seamed. There was a lot of small areas around the staircase and landing area which look great.

The sales person was great! She had samples and suggestions that were.extremely helpful! The installers were very professional and prompt!

It went excellent. They had a decent price, were very efficient, quality work. I referred them to a friend.

They sent their designer to give us a makeover of our family room. job went well, prices were good, sales person has non pressure, laid back ad just cool to work with. Very happy with carpet Guys.

Carmen was great, they were my first quote and I am looking for more competitive pricing, however I know they offer more peace of mind on their product and installation.

After deciding the style and color of carpet I wanted , Ken had called the office and scheduled the job for the very next day. I could not believe how easy and fast it was to get my carpet installed. The crews were very friendly and helpful. They were real professionals . They moved all of my furniture in the rooms that was getting carpeted and before putting the furniture back, they even vacuum. All and all what a great experience and I have already referred some of my friends.

The carpet replacement went really well! The salesman came to my home with a bunch of samples and helped me choose the carpet that fit best. I liked the fact that they explained all my options and the differences between them. They allowed me to make an educated decision on what worked best for me without any pressure just information. The carpet replacement went really well too. They came on time, moved my furniture, ripped out the old carpet and padding, replaced my carpet and cleaned up after themselves. They were very respectful and left a lasting impresion. I will use The Carpet Guys for all my flooring needs in the future and will make sure to recommend them to friends and family.

Everything went really well. Joe came out for the in home consultation. He was professional and very informative. I had 2 flooring issues. 1-In my finshed basement, the carpet stared to wrinkle in the middle of the room and 2- the living room needed new flooring and I had no idea of what I wanted. He was able to bring in many differnt samples of flooring options including carpet, hardwood and laminate. He patiently explained the differences of the 3 and answered all of my 101 questions. He didn't rush or pressure me into a decision instead he took the time to let me decide what worked best for my home. In regards to the carpet issue in the basement he was able to explain how it can be fixed instead of replaced. I felt like he was there to help me instead of sell me. The NEXT day the installer did a great job fixing my carpeting issue in the basement and installing my new carpet in the living room. He was punctual, polite and made sure everything exceded my expectations. Thanks Carpet Guys!! I will make sure to send some more busines your way.

I had additional work done and it ended up being $2300.

The sales woman was a delight to work with, although she arrived late to our initial appointment. After gathering quotes from a few other companies I decided for the quality of carpet I wanted and the budget I was working within - the Carpet Guys were the right hire for me. Installation went relatively smoothly, with one interruption of work due to installer having to take his assistant home so he could get to his other job on time. Very impressed with the carpet afterwards, however I've already had to have them come out several times to repair some air pockets and carpet coming away from the tack strip.

It went well. They did a good job. They were on time. They did come back right away to fix a small problem.

The owner actually came out to the house and was able to get the job done before anyone else. The crew was great, worked hard and got the job done quickly. We are happy with the results.

I called to make an appointment for an in home quote. Appointment was set up for the date and time I requested. The in home presentation was very comfortable and informative, no high pressure sales! The offered many choices in quality, fabric, and colors. Explained exactly what each different type of fabric would offer and how long I could expect it to last. Once the choice of carpet was picked the installation date was 4 days later. Very perfessional installers that were on-time for the appointment. Couldn't be happier.

The sales rep was helpful and pointed us in the right direction. The price was reasonable and they were able to schedule the job on a date that worked for us. The installation team was on time and did a great job. We are very happy with the results and would recommend this company.

Arrived promptly, finished within a reasonable span of time, cleaned up any mess, and left scraps that I could use for doormats to match the stairs. A real pleasure to work with. I will be using them in the future for my hardwood floor.

Called to get a free estimate but was told that both my husband and I MUST be present during the estimate "so that all questions can be answered one time." This will make scheduling an estimate difficult (even though The Carpet Guys will come out on the weekend), as our schedules are very tough to align. The woman I talked with says they want all parties who are involved in making the flooring decision present so that they don't have to come back out to answer more questions. What a silly policy ! We have been able to complete several other home projects with only one of us present during the estimate. This company has proven difficult to deal with from the START so we are unsure whether we will pursue them for the work. If we do, we will update this post with further details.

I was not impressed with this company at all. As the salesperson was in my house he had to call back to his boss about a question on some carpeting and I overheard their whole conversation. The boss was pushing the sales person to sell me the most expensive carpet he could. I was appalled by this behavior and needless to say did not go with them and would not recommend them.

The customer service we received from The Carpet Guys was outstanding! We moved into a new home and had a very short window of time to replace carpet in the entire house. It was a big job and had to be done in a small time frame. From the first contact I had with company to the final hour of installation, it was nothing but professional and pleasant! They did everything they promised to do, and were professional and prompt. The quality of their work and their product is excellent, and I will recommend them to everyone I know. You will not be disappointed if you hire The Carpet Guys!

We got a quote from Carmen, who we thought was very helpful and professional. She spent a good deal of time with us showing their carpet selection (best selection compared to others we talked to). She really educated us on the different options and was patient while we asked lots of questions and deliberated. Their sales team is great- the problem was the price. We found the same exact carpet from a smaller company who could do it for almost $800 cheaper so we went with the other company. I would say she helped us make the right carpet decision, we just ended up getting it cheaper somewhere else. If the price had been comparable we would have gone with Carpet Guys.

Perfect! These guys were what you used to expect from a carpet company. They showed up on time, did the work professionally, and finished when they said they would with no extra costs. If you are sick of poor customer service, late show up times, and companies taking way longer to complete a job then promised, then call these guys. Customer service these days is normally horrible, so finding the Carpet Guys who did what they said they would do compelled me to actually write this review. I can't stress enough how impressed I am with them.

I can't say enough about how happy I am with the Carpet Guys. I don't normally write reviews (because customer service and the quality of service in recent years has become pathetic across the board) but I felt compelled to write for these guys. They showed up on time, they were professional, and they completed the installation on time too. That never happens - ever- anymore! If you are sick of being jerked around by companies that over charge you, don't show up on time, or take forever to complete the project, call these guys...you won't be disappointment.

I was really impressed by the service I received. The sales person came in on a Saturday. There was no pressure at all. Since the carpet I chose was in stock, they were able to come the following Monday. I thought it would be cheaper since my house is very small (980 sq. ft.) and I was just getting carpet in the living room and hallway. So the price did suprise me however, I have never had new carpet installed so it may have been on par. I really don't know. The 2 men came promptly Monday morning and had it installed in about 2 hours. I was embarrassed because I have a cat that decided she wasn't using the litter box anymore and had been urinating on the old carpet. I apologized in advance for any smell that was there and I didn't hear them complain about it-but I am sure they have seen worse :) They cut and rolled up the old carpet and put it at the curb. They cut it to the exact measurements that are stated on the St. Clair Shores trash policy-and they are VERY strict about that stuff so I was releived when it was picked up. I love my new carpet and would definately reccommend them to anyone.
