The installers arrived on time after a slight mixup with the scheduled day.  They moved furniture, ripped out the old carpet and padding and put it outside for the garbage collectors.  They installed the new padding and carpet and moved back all of the furniture.  Before they left, we pointed out two seams that were noticeable.  They said if the seams did not look better in a week to give them a call and they would come out and fix it.  We called after a week, got the original installers out in two days to fix the seams. They now look great. 
The Carpet Guys have qualifty carpet selections and employ their own installers.  The two installers for us were very hard workers and polite.  It was nice to have the original installers come back to fix the seams. 

Kevin was very helpful in selecting the carpet and was very patient with us. The pricing was great. They didn't have to replace the nail stripping, only the padding and carpet.

The agent came out to measure and do the estimate, and that was fine and informative, but I didn't realize we'd have to agree to the price and work on the spot or lose the quote. We went ahead and agreed to do it, but I didn't appreciate that pressure. We scheduled a few weeks out, and when I hadn't heard any kind of confirmation from the company, I called to make sure we were still on and get a time. At first they couldn't find us in the schedule, but finally they did. They said the installers would arrive as close to 9am as possible, but apparently one of them was an hour late to work that morning so they arrived a bit later than anticipated - OK, we made it work. They generally worked fast and did a good job - we're pleased with the outcome - but the unprofessional demeanor of one of the installers left a bad taste. Cursing loudly when the job gets difficult doesn't inspire confidence, dude. The other installer handled the job well, though, and gave us an opportunity to inspect the work which remains in good shape.

The service was good. They were fast, friendly and the price was good.

It went well.  They were a little pricier than the other ones that we looked at but not the worst but they have good service and they were pretty helpful.  After they did the installations, there were a couple of little issues and we called them and they came to fix and that was good.

Two issues: 
(1) Carpet salesman measured the three rooms, then gave us a "quote" for the work. When I said I had to think about it, he called the office to see if he could lower the price, and then gave us a lower quote.  This may be OK for other clients but I find it super gimmicky when you get a price quote at the beginning and then a lower price quote if you don't say yes right away -- just give me the real, lowest price you can from the beginning!  I don't like the "timeshare" model where prices lower after you say no or I'm not sure.
(2) Measurements of rooms were 200 square ft more than what Carpet One measured -- I wish we had measured it ourselves beforehand --but we were so trusting!  I don't know how this could have been inadvertent as it was 3 bedrooms and their closets (very small closets) -- I don't see where that level of error would come in.  When we measured it ourselves we came up with the same figures that Carpet One did.
Personally I did not appreciate the business model.  I don't know if mis-measurements were accidental or not, but I lost trust in the company and would not use them in the future.

The service was great.  We met a very nice gentleman at a home show that signed us up for a prompt quote.  Once we received our quote it was considerably cheaper with a high quality carpet.  They installed on the date promised, they called ahead, and we received a call while they were installing to see how the installation was going.  Our new carpet looks great, and our old carpet is where it needs to be (with no work on our part) in the garbage!

scheduling was very easy. I had a conflict and had to resechedule which was easily done to suite my schedule. The two guys who came were very professional. They did a very good job. Will use them again.

The ability to schedule my estimate in the evening was a must.  Too many contractors require you to take time off in order to fit them in.  Weekend installation was also a must and The Carpet Guys arrived on a Saturday at 9AM and were out by 12:30PM.  Everything was perfect from scheduling, to the estimate, and finally the installation.  I will use again.

This was too easy!  I checked Angies List for reviews before selecting a carpet company and this company was the best reviewed, for good reason! Kevin came and measured and brought us samples.  At first I thought the selection was too small, but we knew right away we wanted a medium frieze carpet so that's what he brought in.  I imagine if we didn't know what we wanted then he would have shown us dozens more and that makes the selection larger than you think at first.  We still had about 6 types to choose from in 6 different colors each and found the right one.  Kevin was very helpful and before he left we signed up for the 12 month no interest financing and scheduled the install.
The night before install I received a reminder call, and then the morning of I received another that they were on their way.  They arrived at 9:30 with two installers, halfway through another two came to help, and they finished up around 4.  They did a very thorough and careful job, especially on the steps, cutting around spindles and overlapping the sides (I would have expected just a little griping about the complexity but not a word!).  The old carpet was cut and bundled for us to put out with the garbage.  The crew was quiet and polite and professional.  We also received a call the next day to make sure everything was to our satisfaction.
Overall we are happy with our install.  It looks great and I feel confident if there are any troubles they will be addressed.

This is how carpet buying should be. Came out with a large variety of samples, measured, and gave us a quote. No lengthy sales pitch, just a really straightforward, friendly buying experience. We had our carpet picked out, ordered, and an installation day set within one hour. We were able to get an install date of 2 days after our estimate. When they showed up, they had no issue moving furniture that was quite heavy. They worked hard and got all five of our rooms done the same day. It looked great! We love our new carpet, and would recommend them and utilize them again if we needed to. Thanks, guys!

The service went well. Three technicians came out and completed the job in a couple hours. They were very efficient, quick and professional. They were great with communicating and let us know that they would be a little late. The sales person who came out to sell the carpet was very nice and knowledgeable. He brought samples for us to choose from. It was very easy to schedule with the company. They contacted us 24 hours after putting in a service request online. We are planning on using them again.

We were schedule for carpet and somehow were left off the schedule.  This was right before Thanksgiving.  The company made sure that we were rescheduled immediately. The carpet went in as an extra crew was pulled in to make it happen. Wow!  When does that EVER happen?  The job was good...a little edges around the stairs that we needed to trim ourselves, but overall nice job.

The sales rep (Arnie) ended coming to our house three times to close this deal  We had a somewhat special request and had to work out the details.  Arnie was always friendly and conducted himself professionally.  Each time he arrived promptly at the appointed time.  He initially came with samples, but not the make and model we wanted.  Not a problem for him and he put together a custom order for the carpet.  Also, we negotiated a reasonable price for the carpet without much haggling.   Because it was a special order, we had to wait a little longer for the carpet to arrive than their normal turnaround time.  It was not a problem for us, as it gave us plenty of time to prepare for the installation.  A two person crew came out to do the install. They were very friendly, professional, experienced and had the carpet installed in a very short period of time.  They even corrected a long time problem with the steps.  Two other companies neglected to install tack boards on the steps.  The crew identified the shortcoming and corrected it.  They didn't have to do this because I would never have known.  The result was a more professional and significantly better looking installation than the previous installs.  Only one small mishap occurred during the installation.  They accidently chipped off a small corner of wood of our TV stand.  I was worried this would turn into an issue, but it was not the case.  After contacting the main office and supplying a picture of the damage, the service manager (can't remember his name) promptly took ownership of the issue and made quick arrangements to have it fixed.  Along with how the initial business was conducted, this one instance demonstrated to me just how dedicated the Carpet Guys are to supporting and satisfying their customers.  We were very impressed and frankly, relieved.  I have two other rooms to carpet  in the near future and when I'm ready I will definitely be calling the Carpet Guys.  In general, I only have positive things to say about Carpet Guys and have made it known to people I know that if they want quality carpet installed they should not hesitate to call the Carpet Guys.
