Well, I had all small items removed and they were neat about setting large furniture places where I could still move around. Put everything back and cleaned up behind themselves. Wonderful! David Hunt and Brandon Mirling were polite and easy going, made having them in my house feel comfortable.

The installers skillfully cut and installed the sub flooring and vinyl to minimize the split lines. Care was given to make sure everything was correct. It was impressive to see how the pre-cut vinyl was unrolled and fit into a house with many alcoves and doorways to deal with. A bubble was found later, and after a call, David Hunt (the original installer) came right out and fixed it. The stairway and landing carpeting was installed resulting in a very good look and excellent feel under our feet. The experience is best summed up by, we will be buying carpet in 2017 for more rooms of the house and we know who we will be dealing with, Carpet Guys.

We were thrilled! They were very patient with us when we had to reschedule several times because our bad kitchen contractor ran late. The quality of the flooring was perfect. The installers were very professional. Maz, the salesman, was very enthusiastic. Maz made a couple of trips out here and helped us make the right choice. We chose a wood laminate. We realized after we bought the floor that the hallway under the linoleum was not hardwood. The Carpet Guys found extra flooring for us, and a woman in the office drove to Flint to get it. The installers also cheerfully put in the moldings that had come with our cabinets, rather than the ones we bought with the floor. When we realized that the trash service in Sterling Heights would not take the old floor (due to sharp projections and size), we asked theCarprt Guys to quote us to haul it away. It was $230 and we should have bought that up front. They took it on the second day of the service. The only work that remains to be done is the installation of metal caps (stair nose) where the stairs and the drop to the family room are. Those are minor. The only thing the company could have done better was dust sweeping, but that was minor. We loved the work, courtesy, quality, and great customer service. The communication was excellent. We would hire them again for any floor.

A nightmare crew. We prepaid over $9000.00 for an entire hose of carpet and laminate flooring only to have the head of the installation crew inform us he wouldn't stain the moldings for the laminate floors. After we told and showed him the contract showing we paid for this service, he started arguing with us and told us we could do it ourselves. At this point my husband had to take off work because I was afraid of this guy. We did call the company and they did inform this guy he had to do the job, I was given numerous dirty looks and even got a plugged toilet as a bonus without being informed! So, if you are looking for some cheap carpet installed with a an attitude and a clogged toilet to boot, then the carpet guys are for you.

They provide quality carpet and did great custom work on the stairway. They were very professional, helpful, and cleaned up after themselves.

The installers were great got it done in 2 days. They kept every thing picked up. was neat and tidy.

The Carpet Guys were great to work with. The three main team members we interacted with (our sales guy and the two main installers) were absolutely wonderful. They were patient with us but worked quickly and efficiently as much as possible. They took great care with our home, our pets, and to ensure the home was spotless when they left. They did everything possible to ensure we were as minimally impacted as possible by having them in our home for 3 full days and were extremely pleasant to be around. I unfortunately cannot remember their two names but, their work and them in general were impeccable. The only issues we had were when communicating with the communications/scheduling team in the main office. Our salesman was over an hour late for the allotted window (he was wonderful once he arrived) which caused us to miss even more work and reschedule another appointment. Then, we were told when we scheduled our installation date that they would be there Monday-Tuesday doing the work. I even confirmed this via phone and e-mail in the days leading up to the scheduled install because we never received a confirmation. They said this was correct. Then, towards the end of the 2nd day, they came to ask about when they should come the next day. It turns out, they had been told they had 4 days to do the install and we were told it would take 2. They were able to get it done in 3 days, but again we missed an entire extra day of work we hadn't planned for because of this. I would absolutely work with this company again and they have top-notch people on the ground. I would just be extremely overly communicative when scheduling and get times and dates in writing as this was an issue we had twice.

It went great! I had second thoughts about the color I chose, so I stopped in at the showroom. They were so accommodating and took their time to show me other options. In the end, I was confident with my original choice and it looks great. The install guys were fantastic too! They did a quality job... very professional. I definitely recommend The Carpet Guys!

The installation went very well. Good craftsmanship.

The salesman was a little pushy, he wanted me to put down a deposit immediately but I insisted on waiting to make my decision. The installers were great. They showed up on time, removed the old carpet and installed the new carpet quickly and efficiently. When they were done, they cleaned up everything. Very polite and hard working crew.

David Hunt and Brandon Mirling were the installers for my 1100 sq ft. living room, etc. laminate floor. These guys were the best, very meticulous and efficient. Thanks to both and The Carpet Guys LLC Salesman, John, for my beautiful floor !!

The sales person, Tara, was very pleasant, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Carpet installers Marcus & Nick were very professional and polite. They arrived and went to work immediately carefully moving my furniture out, removed the old carpet, cut it into sections, tied it into bundles and put it on the curb for garbage pickup. They laid the new padding, new edging and custom cut & seamed 3 doorways. After installing the new carpet they cleaned up, replaced the furniture and were on there way to the next job. Thank you Marcus & Nick for a job well done.

The Carpet Guys started my laminate floors September 9th and finished everything on September 10th, including a last minute add on of brand new carpet in all three bedrooms. The laminate is perfect for anyone with pets. Their job is very neat, staff was very professional, and they moved all of my furniture including a new couch into my living room for me. I can't believe they got it all done so quick. By the time I got home Friday evening from work I had a whole house with brand new floors and all in two days. I could not be happier with choosing The Carpet Guys and will continue to recommend them to all my friends and family.

The installers, Dave Hunt and Brandon Mirling were amazing. Parts of the subflooring needed replacing before new flooring could be installed. They measured the area, told me what to purchase for the next day, and repaired the damaged area so the new flooring could be installed. They worked meticulously - paying attention to detail, avoiding damage to my home(removing the old flooring carefully, stacking the waste, carefully staining outside, cleaning up each day, etc.). It was extremely hot, but Dave and Brandon were hard working until each day's work goals were complete. Well mannered and respectful, well as skilled craftsmen.

Worked out fine

Well, never got to the install. I had to cancel my order (July 6) due to a surprise car bill. I made sure I cancelled within the contractual guidelines, but found it very difficult to get my money back. I was told (in-person) 7-10 business days for the refund ($300.00). I called on July 14, and was told, "I talked to the controller, and she said it was sent out on the July 13". I was told to call back if it hadn't arrived. I waited another week. No refund. I called on July 23rd, left a message for the controller. I left town, and came returned from my trip, and called again on July 30, to follow-up about my refund. Nothing. Finally, on August 1, I talked directly to the controller, and was told, "I sent the check out on July 7, I'm not sure what happened". Today (Aug 1) I talked to the the owner and let him know that the customer service was horrible. I asked him, "Why am I the person following-up with your office about what is rightfully mine?" "No one has called me, no one has followed-up with me about anything". I informed him, that had it not been so difficult to get my refund, I would have gladly rescheduled. To the owner's credit, he was very apologetic, and offered to make the situation right. However, I told him, "I'm not a gold digger, and I don't want something for nothing. I don't want free carpet/carpet pad, I just want what is contractually mine. I just want my refund". The refund is now being sent Fed-Ex, after 4 phone calls. This was my experience in obtaining a refund for services that were never rendered.

it was great. Joe worked hard to set it all perfectly. I had a very difficult situation, and it was complicated with many factors.. The team from the office, the owner, the installers all worked their butts off taking good care of me. I recommend them and hope you heed this, I am a difficult and discerning customer. it was not an easy task for them, but made it seem so, kindly with aplomb. please call Joe and tell him Colleen sent you!

Joe and the team went over and above to deal with complications that arose during my planned install day. A++ service, hard workers from the people in the office to the last guy at my house, where I will tell all my (nosy they are) neighbors why I allowed the sign to stay in my yard far past the expected time frame. Joe called me himself multiple times and was willing to do anything to get this job done right, even when presented with a litany of complications. Kudos to the entire team. I will call them for any flooring need i have in the future, and I was discerning about every detail. Great job guys and gals! Call the carpet guys to get it handled, they can do it right and with a conscience.
