I was give an appointment 4 days out, which I was okay with. Much to my surprise, Jim called me the same day of my initial call and said they could take care of it immediately.... same day service! They showed up immediately and performed the repair quickly and very professionally. I will definitely use them in the future if needed. Good Job!

The very friendly roofer came and caulked around the flashing where it had been leaking. He inspected the roof and said we had another 5 years or so. No charge for this visit so we will be happy to hire them when the time comes for our roof replacement!

He was responsive to the initial call and was one time and very polite during the appointment.

Requested an inspection and consultation on possible roof replacement. Jim promptly returned my call, quoted $80 (others quoted $100+), and scheduled time. Jim arrived at appointed time. He was professional and personable. He listened to my situation and my concerns. He went up on the roof to inspect and then answered my questions. Jim was obviously very knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to use Richards Roofing. Based on Jim's information, I decided I could wait a few more years before replacing my roof. Jim decided not to charge for the inspection and consultation as it did not require as much time and effort as initially anticipated.

We had Richard's Roofing replace our roof in October of 2015 and was done at great price and time frame. At the time of installation we provided evidence of where water had been coming in for them to fix. We're almost 2.5 years into their original job and each season we need to have them come out to fix something and now this year we have water coming in an upstairs room for the first time and it's been over a month since someone has called us back to schedule time to come out and fix (they offer 100% lifetime guarantee on their work). They're very nice people but it's extremely frustrating to deal with a company that never calls you back. Now we have to find another company to come out and fix what they won't.

Had scheduled an appointment for Richards Roofing to come out on Monday morning 4/2/18 to look at the house. Spoke with Jim personally and scheduled this. He was to email me the estimate. As far as I know he never showed up and I have not received an estimate in my email and yes I did check my spam/junk folder. Disappointed due to the fact of many good reviews on Angie's List.

Slight delay because of snow, but was done in 2 days after starting. Had some minor damage to siding, but contractor rectified after being notified.

I spoke with Jim on the phone. He was polite, courteous, and very professional. I described the issues I saw, and provided measurements and other details help requested. We scheduled an appointment for just a few days later. His crew was punctual, and polite. They completed, and cleaned up, the job in less than 2 hours. Jim arrived and we closed the deal. I would HIGHLY recommend this contractor to anyone.

I was under a huge time crunch to get my roof fixed quickly before a threatening rain storm could cause further damage. Very impressed with Jim's quick response, knowledge and that he provided two approaches and quotes to fix the problem. The team that performed the work did a great job and we're very professional. They were all so helpful and explained everything to me in terms I could understand. I very highly recommend Richards Roofing.

After getting 5 bids, Jim of Richards Roofing was the most knowlegable of all. He was spot on answering all my questions without any "hard sell" like the others and telling me exactly what was needed and "guess ta'mating" actual completion time based on weather forecasts of 2-3 days. :) Job was to start on a Tuesday, Monday night he called and said the dumpster would be delivered by 7am Tuesday morning with the trear off crew arriving by noon. Dumpster arrived at 6:45am and his crew was working at 11:30am. His shingling crew arrived at 3pm Tuesday and had almost 2/3rds of my home reshingled by nightfall. Shingling crew arrived early Wednesday morning and corrected identified rotted plywood roof sheathing problems, cleaned up, and finished around 2pm. Coating of the flat roof occurred Thursday, delay due to weather, rain/mist during the nights. Roof had to be totally dry for coating application and that took about 4hrs. requiring 15 gallons. Jim called and said he'd be over around 11:30am Friday for final walkthru and that the dumpster should be removed by noon. Jim was here by 11:15am, he did a final cleanup inspection, rechecked all the flashing and took pictures to show me what was done on the roof, vents, flashing and flat roof sealing. [Yeh! Smartphones!] Dumpster removal happened before noon, I was amazed. As for cleanup, well this is my 5th re-roof rodeo for a home I lived in and can say it was the best, by far! One other thing, all their crews I dealt with were so respectful and professional, not only of my property but more importantly the quality of the work they were providing. Thanks Richards Roofing! He came out and fixed a leak with some stuff. He went around the roof and looked for any other problems and he didn't charge me.

I called two roofing companies from Angies list. One company that has installed several new roofs for my investment properties and Richard's Roofing to get a second opinion, based on the strong Angies List reviews. WOW! Was I glad I called Richard's Roofing! I immediately received a call back from Jim. Super nice guy and very responsive. He promised to assess our situation within 24 hours and that he did. He called early the next day and was on the roof within the hour. After a brief inspection, Jim found and corrected the problem for much less than I expected. Richard's Roofing and Jim just moved to the top of my roofers Rolodex. If you have an issue and want a professional and fair estimate. Call Jim.

I called Richard's Roofing immediately because they replaced my roof 25 years ago and I am aware of their continued quality of work and service. There was an insurance claim involved and they worked with me and my insurance company to expedite the work as soon as possible. It was another pleasant experience with everyone involved from the salesman to the roofers who were a pleasure to have around who did the excellent job I expected. What was initially a very stressful situation with a partially exposed roof turned out to be a quick solution with their professionalism.

Tearoff was messy, but most of old shingles were put directly into dumpster. Found many nails in lawn after job completed. Magnetic lawn sweep was not very effective. Disappointed in final cleanup. Some job debris wound up in gutters. I don't think there was a final walk -around looking for loose debris or incomplete trimming of shingles at gutter. These items effected the final quality grade.

Working with Jim at Richards Roofing was a breeze. I called for a quote on Wednesday and Jim was at our house the very next day. I explained the issue, showed him the ceiling in the kitchen where we had some water damage and then Jim got right up on to the roof to check things out. He quickly determined we had a cracked seal around one of the pipes and fixed it on the spot that day. I was very impressed with his professionalism and efficiency.

I called the number on the website in the morning and left a voicemail. I received a call back from Jim within a couple hours. He was available the same day to come out and take a look. He was punctual and very professional. He got up on the roof and also took a look in the attic. From his assessment, he determined the repair to pretty minor so he took care of it for us in a matter of moments and didn’t even charge us. He also performed a quick assessment of the rest of our roof and reported everything to be in good shape.

Never bothered to return my call. I called this same outfit of few years ago, and no one returned my call, then, either.

They're professional. Very quick response time with the estimate. Good communication skills. Price was reasonable as well.

CALLED THREE WEEK LATER. BLAMED PROBLEM ON HIS PHONE. RIGHT !!!
