This company promptly returned my call, set up an appointment and arrived on schedule. Jim was vey professional and when asked to take photos of the before and after work on the roof, he did so. He evaluated a skylight and was paid and left. I would definitely call this company again and would gladly refer them.

I got an appointment next day. The only reason I didn't go with this company is because the company I went with gave me 3x warranty period, otherwise I would've went with Richard's roofing. Very professional.

They made an extra effort to make the roof repair at short notice the day before a heavy snow storm was expected. Very happy with the work done and the timeliness. I will consider them again for any future work.

The heat cable that had been installed by Richard's Roofing in 2011 was no longer working. After I determined that the GFI outlet was not the problem, I called Jim to have the cable replaced. Gary came out and did an excellent job threading the cable through two gutters and downspouts, eliminating a potential ice dam condition. He was respectful and hard working. As it was winter, I worried about him on the roof, but he took care to be safe as well as not damage my shingles. He worked for a good solid hour or more, and made sure I was satisfied before he left. I was pleased that Jim applied a senior discount to the job and was willing to work with me on price and scheduling. I have waited to write this review until I knew the cable would work and solve out problem. I will call Richard's Roofing for needs in the future.

The group was prompt, efficient, friendly and neat. I could not ask for anything better.

Originally planned for November but due to scheduling and weather was delayed. They stayed in contact with me during this time and kept me apprised of new scheduling. Job once started went very quickly, people were courteous and professional. Would highly recommend them to anyone needing roofing done.

Went ok. Came and went after completing job without notification or any paperwork left showing what was done.

Awesome. I called 14 roofing companies over a 3 week span to get a roof put on a rental house. Most, I left messages and never got a call. Some, I talked a live person but never got a call back w/ a quote, etc. Called Richards Roofing, Jim answered the phone, said he'd go out and have me a quote within an hour. What I didn't realize is that he meant, he'd drop off the quote at my home, with a stack of papers with his insurance, license, FAQs, and a ton of helpful info. The price was fair, and he said he could start a few days out. Every single time I called, he answered, super friendly, super knowledgeable. I had them add extra blown in insulation too, and the price was great and the final product is amazing. So happy that this worked out so well.

Jim was a pleasure to work with again. He had did a small project on a house we bought for our daughter back in May and we needed a new roof on our house. We our more than happy with the turnout. The roof looks great! The crew that he had sent out was awesome, very professional, we even asked them to use the magnet again in the backyard to pick up any nails that our dogs could possibly step on and they did without hesitation. With the large crew that was there the work was done in 1 day a definite plus in my book.

Could not get a return phone call after repeated messages left and no email address listed on web page.

I had used Richard's in the past to put an entire new roof on my previous home. They did a great job. When I moved homes, I called them out to check the roof on my knew home. They told me that they had just been out to repair the roof at my new address via the previous owner calling them and that the roof look great. Last month, I noticed the current damage and called Richard's. They came out within a few days while I was at work and left an estimate to fix the roof. I called to schedule an appointment. I asked them to avoid coming out on Mondays. A few days later they showed up at my house to repair the roof. They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. There was no mess at all.

Jim returned my call within 24 hours and then came at 7:30 the next morning to estimate. I called to confirm the estimate and his people did the job the following day. They color matched existing gutters and downspouts. They were prompt, courteous and Their work was very reasonable compared to another quote we had. We need roofing work next year and will definitely call Richard's Roofing!

We called Richards for a quote and set-up a time to meet. They were on time and did not try to over sell the job. We got several other quotes as well but felt most comfortable with Richards. Their quote was a fair price and the estimated time to complete looked reasonable to us. The crew arrived on time. They protected our landscaping and were careful about keeping the work site clean and free of nails. They did the work quickly and efficiently. The roof looks great and we would recommend Richards Roofing to anyone.

Jim was quick to respond to original phone call. Work was scheduled for the following week. Employees, dumpster, plywood and shingles arrived early in the morning. Clean-up was accomplished during the job. Everything went well

The estimate was right in line with 2 others we received. We decided to go with Richards because of the quality of work he explained during the estimate review. He was polite and professional. Explained everything thoroughly. The day the workers came they were EXTREMELY professional, no bad language, no smokers, worked hard all day to complete the roof in 1 day. They completely cleaned the whole site, my yard, landscape, driveway, etc. Everything was reviewed with me at the end and I was extremely satisfied.

Contacted Richards Roof thru Angie's List and was given an appointment with the rep. He met with me and we discussed the job to be done. We agreed to go ahead and get the job started. A date was determined and the work was started. We had some weather difficulty during the process but that only cost us about 5 hours of work time on the second day. The work was completed on the third day. We ran into some surprises after the old roof was peeled off, the underlying wood was in poor condition and much more needed to be replaced than what was anticipated. We agreed on what had to be done and they went ahead ordered the extra materials and completed the job. Jim, the rep, came by on the last day as work was wrapping up and looked over the job. He supervised the clean-up process and made sure all debris was picked up and disposed of. I then paid him the balance owed, I thanked him, we shook hands and he left. It has now been raining most of the last two days and I have been searching for leak problems. I have found NONE! Great job guys.

Your professionalism is second to none. we really appreciated the no high pressure sales pitch. this was a lot of money for our family and we were very comfortable and letting you do the roof for us. we knew it would be a big job and tell your guys thank you for the great roof and wonderful cleanup I will be recommending you to everybody that I know that needs a roof..

I should have written this review last year. I just wanted to report that we had a prompt response from Richards Roofing and a detailed estimate of cost. The work was done on time, professionaltely and efficiently. We were very pleased and would use them again gladly.

Met with Jim, who was very professional and easy to deal with. I had gotten 2 other bids and I found Richard's Roofing the best offer. He and his crew were on time and were able to get the job done in one day. They took off 2 layers and put new wood on areas that needed it. The crew cleaned up right after the job and the next day a young man came to clean up anything that might have gotten on the lawn. When I told Jim that I was on Angie's list he gave me a 5% discount.

Jim, Thank you for your proposals to re-roof my home - you were professional & helpful. But when I called you 9 hrs before our 5:00 pm appoint to cancel the appointment because I had selected another contractor (yes, I solicited more than one proposal), the phone went dead. REALLY? I kindly called back to ask if the called dropped and you said no, it didn't, you just didn't want to waste the time since I had selected another contractor. And you promptly hung up on me again. That's not the kind of salesman or company I would consider in the future for any type of work.

Jim was fantastic and I was very impressed with their company. I had hired a different company to clean my gutters and check everything two months ago. They said they would charge me $75 plus labor to come back out and fix the gutter piece. I was very disappointed with that response. So I then went on Angie's list and found the wonderful reviews on Richard's Roofing and called Jim. He told me there would be no service charge and would come out the next day to look at the unattached gutter piece. He fixed it very efficiently. He told me it would be $30 to attach the gutter piece and I was thrilled! Then he asked how I heard about his company and when I told him I read about their reviews on Angie's List he waived the charge completely! As soon as he said that I knew I had to add to their already great reviews on Angie's List. There is a reason why Richard's Roofing has so many positive reviews. Their customer service is outstanding. I will definitely be calling them in the future when I need them.
