There was an initial delay when their truck broke down, but they called immediately and asked to come the next day. To say the least, they did an excellent job!! I was very impressed. Stains that had been there for years were gone. I will definitely use them again!

Next day service, called when he was on his way and was on time all while doing quality work!

It went well. The guy doing the cleaning was very nice. There were a couple of areas that I wish he would have worked on a little better (high traffic/darker spots). The only other issue - after he cleaned the carpets - he went out to his truck and brought in the stuff to spray for the stain protection. I was just surprised that he did not put "booties" on his shoes since the carpet was now clean and he was going to be walking all over it spraying stuff. Other than that....he did a great job.

One problem was that their truck broke down and had to reschedule.using a different less powerful truck. They did do a great job and spent extra time on stains.

Did not get out any of the stains as promised. After spending the couple of hundred dollars to clean, we could have just invested that into new carpet.

They did a great job cleaning our carpets and had no issue with cleaning the area rugs.

This is our second time using this company, and we have NO complaints this time around as well! Overall I feel this is the best carpet cleaning company around to do business with.

It went very well. Patrick the owner was very thorough with the job. My wife was very pleased with the outcome, she is very picky. The experience with the last company didn't go so well.

Patrick did a fantastic job with the cleaning of our carpeting. This is the second time we have used McDonough Carpet Cleaning. The first time was about 15 months ago and we are very pleased with his professionalism and quality of work. We will continue to use him in the future. Even though our carpet is 15 years old, he made it look a lot newer.

Pat called to tell me he was on his way and he arrive several minutes early. He explained what he was going to do and promptly set about doing just that. He sprayed the carpet with the spot lifting solution and then proceeded to clean the carpet and finally used a scotch guard type solution on the carpet. He put the little plastic squares under any furniture that would come in contact with the solutions to prevent any bleeding/staining transfers to the carpet. He was very professional, polite, and pleasant. I would definitely use him again and would recommend him to family and friends.

I am impressed with the service and price! McDonough showed up with invoice filled out, a couple of cards, and started work right away. No 'hidden' fees, or 'surprises' like most other guys try to pull over on you.. Honest work, Fair Price. What more do you need? Timely response, timely showing up, and I am overall quite pleased with the job.. Our carpet in the master bedroom+stairs is over 8 years old, and very light. I wasn't expecting miracles, and had honest expectations. With that in mind I am satisfied with the job overall. A couple small stains from an animal were reduced in intensity but not removed, I do not think anyone could remove them to be honest. Overall I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to anyone looking for a quality job without breaking the bank. I am tired of paying carpet cleaners $400 to clean a bedroom - never again! With these less expensive prices, and efficiency, I can see myself getting the carpet cleaned at a higher frequency, which means better looking, longer lasting carpet. Part of the reason we went 8+ years without getting them cleaned was because of the cost. Thanks to Angies List, and McDonough, that's not a problem any longer - and I plan to increase the frequency as a result.

If you want a quick in and out experience this is the provider for you. The carpet's looked ok after completion, but I am not sure how you could do a thorough job in about an hour. I was outside doing some work when I was told they were finished. I went in and most of my living room furniture was in my kitchen. I asked the owner how I was supposed to move the heavy stuff. I was expecting the furniture to be moved back and placed on some sort of pads until the carpet dried. They then placed the furniture on some sort of plastic strips. I was expecting something more like Styrofoam blocks. The price was low for the amount of rooms and square footage, but it really was a rushed job in my opinion.

That was horrible. They never showed up. They made excused. I would never use them again. The first time they didn’t show up because their truck broke down. They called to reschedule the second time and so I canceled to request a refund. They called and told me that they weren’t coming.

It went wonderfully. We had one 19'x22' room with a large carpet and a wool oriental rug in our front room. I was a little worried about the rug, but he assured me everything would be okay. It surely was. Everything was done absolutely to our satisfaction, and not only that, he arrived when he said he would and was a very pleasant person to deal with. It couldn't have been better!

They were not timely but the service went well.

They cleaned both of my couches and did an amazing job

Everything went as planned. I contracted for a carpet cleaning deal. I wanted some extra work so we discussed and agreed on a supplemental amount. Provider was timely, fairly priced and did an excellent job! This is the third time I have used McDonough Carpet Cleaning and I am sure I will use them again.

It went very well. The only bad part about working with McDonough was there was a little bit of lag in the communication back and forth but aside from that, they came and they were prompt and on time. They were very professional. We were very happy with the service that they performed. They really did a good job.

Scheduling was a problem. I had attempted to schedule with them for a Monday, but she said that they sent someone over on Friday, although I had made myself clear about Mondays. They sent me an email stating that their equipment was down. I have contacted them via email, but they are non responsive at this point.
