Description of Work: McDonough Carpet cleaned 4 areas in our home for a special price through Angie's List. Did professionally and were courteous at all times. Carpet in the bedrooms came out great. Will certainly use them again.

Description of Work: Cleaned all the carpets in the house after we had some construction, so there were some additional charges beyond the Deal for extra rooms which he explained before we booked. Also did some Scotch Guarding in high traffic areas. Had a really bad old stain that he was able to remove most of. Very thorough, efficient. Happy to support local business too. Very pleased and would highly recommend.

Description of Work: Shampooed the carpets. Everything went fine. I did notice that two stains that came back after the carpet was dry, but I was able to get them out later myself. The gentleman performing the cleaning was friendly and efficient. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Description of Work: I had the whole house carpet cleaned. Very pleasant provider, personable and fair in pricing. Two concerns, one permanent spot got larger and one particularly dirty area (lots of foot traffic) looked clean initially. Later after it dried, it needed to be revisited. I contacted them twice with messages requesting a return visit and did not receive a return call. Left me a bit disappointed. Overall, good service with one exception. I could overlook the permanent spot but not responding to my messages seemed evasive.

Description of Work: He damaged my living room furniture to the point of needing replacement. He kept assuring me he could fix it and he told me he was going to turn it into his insurance -- never heard from him again - he never returned my phone calls which were always answered by voice mail from the very beginning. He didn't arive when he said and after many hous delay made an excuse that was totally bogus -- it does not take four hours to change a flat tire.

Description of Work: I paid extra to have the staircase done also. My carpet is a little over a year old. I live by myself, no kids, no pets, no stains at all in the carpet. I just had normal dirty areas (especially by the front door.) They sprayed a solvent and vacuumed it up. No machine that scrubbed the carpet was used. After the carpet dried you could still see that it was still dirty in many areas. There was also a spot on the carpet upstairs, dark pink in color, about the size of a quarter that WAS NOT there before they arrived. I had just vacuumed the carpet 15 minutes before they arrived and am positive about this. I DO NOT eat or drink upstairs! I got it out by using a carpet cleaner stain remover and finally it came out after repeated blotting. The service turned out to be a total waste of money!

Description of Work: They cleaned our basement after a flood. At first I was impressed how quickly responded but I think the scope of the area's flooding and demands was too much. They had to come back several times and I had to make too many phone calls to get the job wrapped up.
