they came out, gave me pamphlet and measured. Never heard from them again. Completely wasted my time - maybe they are too busy. Spent $7000 with another provider already I suggest calling someone else

Everyone was amazingly punctual for this entire project, from the time of the scheduled estimate through the completion of the the refinishing. The original time estimate for performing the sanding and refinishing was three days, but the efficiency of the crew allowed the work to be completed in two days. The gentleman that applied the new urethane actually worked longer on the final day so as not to have to come back the following day. He arrived at 8:15 AM and didn't leave until 7:00 PM - a long day for him, but it freed up the originally scheduled third day for me. Greatly appreciated. The flooring has never looked better and surpasses the original flooring finish from when we built the home. A big thank you for am outstanding job.

I called and set up the appointment and had it scheduled for a wednesday at 12. The employee called me on Tuesday morning seeing if I was able to change the day and time to that evening. I did and set up so my father could be there since I couldn't. He came and measured and left brouchers and cards. He said he would call back with the estimate and I never heard anything from them.

Joe was by far the most professional of all the companies that I called for an estimate. He estimated it would take three days to do. His crew was friendly, knowledgable, hard working, and kept us informed of where they were at, what they were going to do next, etc. we were given care sheets for the floors and product recommendations to care for them. The floors are absolutely beautiful, so much so that it was hard to walk on them the first few weeks in fear of messing them up! Joe was great at getting back to me with all my questions on moving furniture back onto them. I would highly recommend this company and know that we will be calling them when the topcoat needs to be redone in the future. Thank you Kapalua!

Joe was very professional. His crew was timely and we were very pleased with the finished wood floors. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in new wood floors being installed or having current floors cleaned.

Evan was on time, professional and addressed all concerns. Job exceeded all expectations several friends / neighbors have asked for their number. I plan on having them do the living room floor in the future.

Overall, my experience was fantastic. Joe did a great job explaining the services he recommended and gave his honest opinion on a few areas that he thought wouldn't be worth the money to fix (i.e stain on softwood pine stairs). The system they used provided fabulous results. I must admit i was surprised how great they turned out without any sanding. Great job!

Contractor was on time, reasonably priced and very professional. Work performed was excellent and exceeded my expectation.

I found Kapalua Floors doing Google search. I talked to Joe and set an appointment for him to come look at my floors and to give a quote. Joe arrived right on time. I was doing my whole upstairs floors. Joe was willing to work with me to do the job in 2 phases This made it easier for me to move furniture. Joe explained the type of dustless sanding that he did and the types of finish I could use. I decided on the water based finish as that has the shortest drying time. We setup for phase one to start a couple of weeks later. On the start day, the workers showed up right on time. The system they used was truly dustless. I did not have dust anywhere in the house. They took about a day and a half for phase one. I was able to walk on the floors about 3 hours after they were done. Phase two was a bit more square footage and took two full days for the 2 guys. Again I could use the floors in a couple of hours. The workers were very professional and polite. Everything was cleaned up, and the only thing I had to do was to put my furniture back a couple of days later. They did a great job, I would highly recommend Kapalua Floors to anyone. My floors now look like they are brand new. I'll glad that I found them.

We couldn't be happier with the results. Joe and his team replaced the stair treads with oak and sanded and refinished the hardwood in the office. The team was extremely professional and friendly. Even though there was a lot of sanding going on, we didn't find one speck of dust. At the end of each day, you would never even know they were there; that's how well they cleaned up after themselves. And the end result was nothing short of amazing. The new hardwood stairs and refinished floor match the rest of the floors in the house perfectly. For anyone looking for hardwood work, hire this company!

My husband and I just purchased a new home and we wanted to have the hardwood floors refinished prior to moving in. I had called a few companies to get quotes. We had no idea that these companies were so busy and booked up for several weeks to months. I called Michigan Floors and they highly recommenced Joe Meyecic at Kapalua Floors. Joe came to our home and was very professional and had brochures for their dustless system and fully explained what all our options were. We had the quote in our hands before he left. His crew was also booked but he understood that we wanted the floors refinished prior to moving in and was able to fit us in the next week. Evan was in charge of the job and he was very professional, knowledgeable and kind. At the last minute we decided to tear out the sink and cabinet in the main bathroom thinking the hardwood went all the way under and it did not. I called Joe and asked if they could possibly repair the floor and refinish it where the cabinet was just in case we wanted to replace it with a raised cabinet. It was not a problem at all. When they were finished, we noticed a few small bubbles in the finish. Evan and Joe came right out and took care of everything right away. They cleaned up everything and their system is truly dustless! They didn't have to put plastic up anywhere or on anything. Out of the companies we had out to quote the job, they were by far the most professional and reasonable in price. We highly recommend this company.
