Rick is great , arrived 30 minutes early,completed the job in 45 minutes.I had 15 minutes remaining on my first hour and he asked if there was anything else I needed done. Cleaned up everything. 10% senior discount was honored bringing my 175.00 estimate down. He also replaced a switch and charged me only $2.50 for a new switch. Great guy to talk to, he seems to enjoy his work. This is how a business should be run.

Appointment was set up for estimate and Joe was prompt and very courteous . He explained what needed to be done in great detail and how it would operate. Electrician installed the required electrical equipment, hooked up the generator and demonstrated how to switch over from DTE to generator power. Very thorough; very thoughtful; very friendly. I would recommend this company to anyone..

Never responded to my request for a quote. Went very bad !!!

The electrician came out and accessed my needs. He recommended a different motion sensor than the one I had purchased. I ended up purchasing another model that he recommend, which had a 5-year warranty. The price was considerably more but worth it. He returned the next day and completed the garage door outlet and motion sensor light. The original electrician was supposed to return when he got the parts to remount my outdoor light fixture. However, he left the company. Once I notified the company they promptly sent our another electrician who came out and finished the job. My overall experience was good. Their prices are fair and they stand behind their work. I recommend this company and would use them again.

The company called the day before the appointment to give a time frame for arrival of the electrician and left a message. I called back to request an extra half hour as I had to take my car in that morning and they were very accommodating. The electrician who came, Rick, was on time, courteous, and informative. The jobs were done well and for 30% of the cost of the estimate given to me by another company that I have dealt with in the past. Overall an excellent experience.

Power was taken out by a downed tree and we were looking for quick turn around service. I called this company at 3:20pm on a Thursday afternoon. Donny answered the phone and impatiently told me me they closed at 4pm and he would have to, "charge emergency service rates." When I told him that I would continue to look for someone else to do the work, he asked, 'well - don't you even want to know what the rates are?" He quoted $200 for the first hour and $100 per hour after that. I think that price is a little exorbitant - especially for an Angie's List contractor. I will not use nor will I ever refer Joe Pizik Electric.

I had three small electrical jobs that needed to be done. The electrician was very efficient and took care of everything quickly. He even came up with a creative solution to bypass an old rotted wire in the basement. I am pleased.

Left message and received call back the next morning. I explained some of the problems I have with circuit breaker tripping with heavy usage. Rick came 2 days later. Checked the outlets and hall light that were not working. Replaced wall socket with loose wire that was causing the problem. Added new GFI plugs in bathroom and kitchen and put in 2 new circuit breakers to take some of the load off. I explained that I was on a fixed income and he explained different options. He answered all my questions and made sure I knew exactly what he was doing. I would not hesitate to use this company again in the future.

I have used this company several times before this, and have always been very happy with the work their electricians perform. We have an older home, built in early 70s, apparently builders didn't like installing ceiling lights or hallway plugs back then, so we seem to always have a need for an electrician. The electricians JP sent us are efficient and professional, and never any issues or drama when using them. I especially recommend Henry, he was the first electrician we had sent to us from JP, and now we always request him if it works out for our schedule.

Because I did not have the wall sconces to complete the job when Joe Pizik Electric, Inc. was out in the fall, a second trip to my home was necessary. In the fall, they had installed the electrical for the wall sconces in the living room. And because I needed to change out a rather large chandelier for a new one in the foyer, it would necessitate two men to complete the job. I was told prior to making the second appointment how much the charge would be for two men per hour and each additional half hour, if necessary. Henry and Mitch came to my home promptly as scheduled. Henry had called enroute to give me a heads-up as to their estimated time of arrival. Henry and Mitch behaved in a very professional, respectful and courteous manner in my home and wore booties over their shoes. And, they were dressed appropriately as well. They brought all the tools, drop cloths, etc., that they would need to do the job and to protect my floors. Any and all debris was cleaned up, etc. They completed the installation of the wall sconces and the chandlier in 1-1/2 hours as had been anticipated. I would not hesitate to hire them again to do further repairs and/or projects in my home.

It was Saturday, and we were without power as I had turned off the circuit breaker due to a sparking plug that overheated a wire. I left a message stating that we were without power. It was cold outside and getting cold inside. The owner sent someone over to take care of the repair. We paid a higher rate because it was the weekend. When the repair extended into the second hour, and we would be charged for the full second hour, he looked around and productively repaired other needs while he was on the clock. As the second hour drew to a close, he suggested we call and make an appointment for a weekday to make other non-essential repairs and upgrades to our electrical, which would cost less at the week day rate. I highly recommend this company.

The electrician arrived at the day and time as scheduled and got to work right away the first outlet went smoothly the second outlet needed some work to deal with some old wires but everything went very well. Just to let you know all this was done during a rain and snow shower and cold temps I was very impressed with the service.

The electricians arrived on time. They took about 2 hrs. to complete the job. They were very good about making sure they did not do any damage to my property. They did a great job at cleaning up, they even vacuumed the floor for us. I would use this company again in the future.

Joe came out for an estimate to do basement wiring for us. He was punctual, professional and thorough. He came in with a slightly higher estimate than the company we ended up hiring. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

I contacted angieslist because of my eagerness to find an electrician that could diagnose the sudden loss of electrical power to three rooms in my home. I was anxious because both of the personal referrals I contacted could not confirm definite scheduled appointments. A third lead quoted me his troubleshooting rate of $85 per hour and still could not schedule a confirmed appointment. Certainly, I did not want to go the entire weekend without power to the bathroom and my bedrooms. In the interest of saving me time, Fernando (angies representative) emailed a list of several electricians in my area that performed emergency repairs. I chose JP Electrical INC based on its recent grades for performance and commitment to customer satisfaction and quality service. I immediately contacted the office. Maria listened to my problem and she began to offer tips on how to resolve the problem myself. Wow, this was a pleasant surprise! She asked about GFIs in my home (bathroom) and If these were reset prior to attempting the circuit breaker reset. She explained that the GFI will prevent the circuit breaker from resetting sometimes (I had never heard this before). When we determined this wasn't the problem, she explained the labor rates and the possibility i could save some money by having the technician come at an earlier time. Otherwise, the labor charge is a little higher after normal business hours because the technicians are working overtime rates. The technician arrive at my door an hour later as promised. To my satisfaction the problem was diagnosed, explained, and repaired all within one hour and forty-five minutes. In addition, I received a $25 coupon to use with my bill. Overall my service experience was professional, responsive, and effective. I felt the troubleshooting tips, coupon, and lower labor rate added additional value to this service and money spent.

He quoted me an additional 100 dollars and only charged me the $500. They did the work and the inspector passed it.

After meeting with all three contractors we felt that all would do a good job.Bratcher was HighBudget was low and the one we choseJoe Pizik's quote was reasonable and we felt he would do a good job installing it. However, his review of the power needs of our house was not thorough in my estimation. He did not check the electrical draw on our Air Conditioner or other major electrical appliances and recommended a generator much larger than either of the other two contractors.

He came on time and quickly got to work. No complains and would hire again.
