Dina was very friendly and helpful in arranging for an electrician to come to my home. She was very willing to accommodate my requests. She answered the phone promptly every time. The only glitch was the first electrician was not tall enough to reach my ceiling unless he stood on top step of his 12' ladder, so we had to reschedule with a taller electrician. That one was very efficient and knowledgeable (and tall). The cost was very reasonable with the coupon, and was much less than other services I contacted.

I checked around and everybody does it for around $250. They played a game with me as far as doing some stuff. They sent three people here to install a light timer on the front and back door. They have not been able to get it straight. Their own people were complaining about it. I was really upset with these people, very upset. We had many phone calls then for no reason. I had a very, very, very bad experience. There was on professionalism.

The lady on the phone was real nice and informed me of who would be coming out to service my house. She was nice to talk to. Rick was the technician and he was real nice too. I would recommend them to anyone who needs electrical work done.

After inconsistent annual service of our standby generator by a previous company we tried Pizik Electric this year. Their office staff was very helpful and made sure they any parts that may be needed for our model were on hand before scheduling the service call. The tune up, cleaning, oil change, and test of the generator was thorough. We ended up signing a two year contract to have Pizik to do annual check.

It was great. The technician did what we asked, was friendly and efficient. We could not be happier with the service we received.

We have had services provided by this company 3 times since moving to the clarkston area 3 years ago. They have alway been prompt and professional. Their prices are competitive with other bids we have had. Never had a problem with them yet.

Prompt professional and highly competent service

Was told we were the second call and when the designated electrician had not arrived at 11am, I called to be sure I would be at the house when he did arrive. The person who answers the phone re-scheduled me for after 3pm later that same day, which was fine. Then I get a call from Eric at 12:30p asking if he could come right away. Not the greatest start, but OK. Once he arrived, it was pretty evident early on that the 4- way switch problem was over his head. He offered a diagnosis of "something along the lines broken somewhere". Said it was a pretty big problem because tracing the "break" was difficult. I just didn't have a good feeling about his competency or diagnosis. He did screw in a cover plate to an already existing switch box (he didn't have a better fitting box on the truck, he said). He gave me a bill for $160, which I paid. I called another electrician, who came out the next day and in less than 12 minutes diagnosed the problem as a faulty switch box, changed it and charged me $123 for his work. I have nothing against this company at all, but I do think they should have more competent electricians on staff. I have never posted such a negative review and it pains me to do so. However, I counted on Angie's readers for feedback on this electrician and paid $160 for nothing. I felt I should share my experience.

Another very good experience with this company. Rick came out and provided a ten circuit manual transfer panel, all wiring, and plug in my garage for hook up of a portable generator. They also provided the portable generator (Generac GP7500) which they assembled and walked me through how to use. This was the 2nd time I used Joe Pizik in the last year and it's great to know that I have a very reliable and professional source for electrical work. Would highly recommend Joe Pizik!

After a couple of phone calls back and forth to get everything set up - the day for the service was planned. That day came and went and they never showed up and they never called. I wasn't immediately aware of this because I was out of town traveling. I called them about 1 week after they were supposed to show and it was like starting over again. There was no knowledge of who we were or what we had called for originally. I gave them an A for responsiveness. When we originally spoke - that all went pretty well. After that - it's all F's because they never showed and never called.

After speaking to Joe his perception is that the service request was to troubleshoot and not to perform an estimate although he acknowledged that due the extreme amount of work the estimate was never sent. Joe was more concerned on justifying the minimum charge while the real issue was that I requested an estimate that was never submitted. If this company is extremely busy then my expectation would be to turn down the job as soon as they became aware of the scope whether this became clear at the time of order or when the technician arrived and became aware of my specific request, there is absolutely no value to invest in a consultation when the company is unable to provide an estimate. Joe provided a partial reimbursement but he missed the opportunity to perform a service recovery.

Returning calls was a problem but Brian more than made up for this. I was expecting a quote and then a return visit for this work but he did everything at once and now I can move forward with my remodel.

The electrician Ryan, responded to my call within 45 minutes of my contact. He conducted troubleshooting and isolated the failure quickly and repaired. All work done in an hour. We requested a quote for future electrical upgrades in this old home and we will have this company out again. Based on my experience, I highly recommend Joe Pizik Electric.
