Description of Work: A zone of my furnace wasn't responding to the thermostat and was overheating the lower level of the house. I called for service on a Sunday and the service was provided promptly and efficiently. However, I found the cost to be very high for the time involved even though I was advised that the charge would be high for a house call on Sunday.

They were great and I will hire again.
Description of Work: I have had problems with my gas fireplace since it was installed 8 years ago. The company that installed it couldn't fix it. I have had 3 other local companies come out, one came out 2 times and said it was fixed and it wasn't, and wanted to charge me more money to come back. I called Precision this time. They were very professional on the phone and actually could come out the same day. I needed a part so the price added up, but so far it is working again. I would use them again if the fireplace continues to work!

It went fine, they showed up on time. The technician was very good, knowledgeable, efficient.They came back week later to track down and fix a gas leak they missed earlier. Good experience, just too expensive.
Description of Work: They cleaned a 18 yo furnace. It came out of the cleaning in fine shape, with nothing wriong. Just dirty. They install a 40 gallon Hot water heater and that was $1000.00, way overpriced.

Troubleshooting of gas fireplace. The technician arrived on schedule and was very pleasant. Examined fireplace, quickly found the problem and repaired it. Cleaned the fireplace out and readjusted it. The entire experience was painless, and the customer service was outstanding.

After we'd received a hard sell and quot;ya gotta do this NOW or the world is going to endand quot; set of recommendations from Team Bob's, I contacted Precision for a second opinion. They were right around the corner doing some work on my Aunt's gas fireplace, so I stopped over to see if they could squeeze me in to the schedule that day. Cliff, the service tech, was at my house within the hour. He checked out the furnace and closely examined the supposedly bad parts. He confirmed my suspicions -- no repairs were needed at all, everything was working perfectly. Thanks for your honesty, Precision! You saved me $1500 and earned a customer for life.

Description of Work: I think that I already wrote a review and I don't remember all the details of the service now. My furnace was not igniting and the tech replaced a part and fixed a couple of incidental items. He was prompt, explained problem well, serviced it quickly, gave a detailed bill with explanation. I was very satisfied. I would recommend Precision to others without hesitation.

As stated above, I have nothing but good things to say about this company and their work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to others with similar issues.
Description of Work: Our Napoleon gas fireplace stopped working, and we contacted PPH after reading reviews on Angie's List. The phone personnel were extremely polite and accommodating, even though we had to adjust the appointment time twice. The service technicians gave us a set of possibilities as to what it would cost, and let us know that they would investigate and provide an estimate before any work was done. The service people arrived on time, and in short order had the fireplace working well. They also performed periodic maintenance services (vacuuming, etc) without charge. I have nothing but good things to say about this company and their work.

I have had trouble with the fireplace ever since installed. I had 3 other companies fix it but it never was fixed. The folks at Precision were very nice on the phone and had someone come out the same day as I called! They were very professional and I would use them again!

It's still working so far.
Description of Work: I didn't have much air flow from my A/C unit. The technician found the blower plugged with debris. He said it was caused by a faulty installation of the unit. It was not sealed properly. Since Precision did the original installation of the unit I would have thought they would have stood behind their work and not charged me for the repair. Instead they charged me $157.

At Precision Plumbing and Heating we take great pride in making sure that our installations meet all manufacturer's specifications and code requirements. We also pride ourselves in standing behind the work that we do. In this case we strongly feel we followed the installation guidelines that were in place in 2007. Since the industry is always evolving we do pick up on recommendations that are later suggested by the manufacturer. With a regular maintenance schedule the unit would have been cleaned of the debris and the issue would’ve been solved years before it caused a problem. The one variable that has to be considered is the environment in which the system was installed. Every home has different levels of Insulation and infiltration of air that can have a negative impact on equipment. We greatly value our customers and strive to make sure everyone is 100% satisfied with our work. We are continuously educating our team in how we can improve our quality of installations and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. As you are aware of our previous no charge visits, we have proven how important it is for us to stand behind our installations and to show each customer how much we value their decision to choose Precision.
