We purchased our housing knowing that it had some roof leak issues... unfortunately we had no idea that it would eventually lead to needing a complete new roof. So the search for a contractor started out with Attic Ventilation companies and a few Roofing companies. In total, I met with around 8-9 contractors and received bids from most of them. I had a bit of a unique situation in terms of ventilation requirements (I have no overhang on the back of the house) and all of the contractors had varying opinions on the right way to do it. Ultimately, I narrowed it down to three roofing contractors to do a full replacement. I was satisfied with Tallon Construction from the beginning of the process, through job completion. They were not the lowest priced option, but I was not looking for a and quot;budgetand quot; roof because we plan to be in this house for quite a while. But I also didn't want to overpay with no benefit. I believe I got exactly what I wanted. Their salesperson, office staff, and crews were very knowledgeable and were able to answer every question I had. And I had a lot of questions, with a lot of detail. The salesperson even invited me up on the roof with him during the process. They understood my expectations for pricing, and were able to work with me. The job was completed on time and did everything they committed to do. Clean up was done well; I have only found 2 nails, and neither of them were in the open. By comparison -- prior to this house, our landlord replaced the roof at our rental and the amount of nails/debris around the yard was staggering... and dangerous. You would not want to go outside without shoes. And that company took 3 days to do a much smaller roof. One of the things that helped me decide to use Tallon was their reputation and other reviews. I am happy to report that they lived up to expectations, and I would have no reservation recommending them to friends and family.

We had recommended them and they had done work for friends within the last year. We did not pay anything, as it was an insurance repair. They were honest and punctual. They did very good work. They were very competent, they knew what they were doing and they were experienced. They even went above and beyond the work that they were called for. My aunt was the one who recommended them and they had done work for her and fixed things that they did not even do. They came out and repaired other people's messes and they did not even charge her. I would use this company again in the future. They are a very good company; they are a family company.

Summer storms and winter ice had loosened my second story eavestrough from the house. After searching on Angie's list, I settled on Tallon Roofing. The receptionist was polite and would have had someone out same day, but I was unavailable. We made an appointment for the following morning. DAVE was there right on time. He was polite, friendly and fearless. He looked at what needed to be done, checked his tool box and reattached the gutters right then. I was thrilled. I had so dreaded working with a company new to me, but now I know that I have a roofing company when I need some serious work done, too. Thank you Dave (and Angie).

The salesman, Tracy, was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. They were a little higher than some other quotes but I didn't feel pressured or that they weren't interested in my concerns. I had an ice dam last winter and a leak in the back bedroom from the storm the week before. I didn't think it was the roof itself but that the water in my debri-filled gutters had found a path of least resistance into the bedroom along one of the rafters. They came out within a few days of the estimate and installed new gutters and leaf guards while I was at work. Everything was cleaned up and no damage to the plants and shrubs around the house. Glad to say we have had 2 storms since the install and no leaks! I would give them a call when my roof needs replacement.

I had leaking in one room of my house, near the chimney. I got several estimates before proceeding. The estimator was very professional and I was satisfied with the price and services offered, although went with a different company because they offered some extra services which I felt were useful.

They were extremely efficient. We only had interaction with a foreman because they did everything while we were at work. It took them less than eight hours to do the job. I would use them again because they were great.

Tallon Roofing couldn't install the electrical work that goes would allow the solar fan in our roof at night. The electrical component, which couldn't get installed, cost maybe even more that the solar fan. When I first called them about the instillation, they didn't tell me they couldn't perform the electrical components. I was upset, because they are recommended by the manufacturer of the solar fan, but they couldn't do the entire job.So I wasn't very happy. I can't tell the difference in the house now that the fan is put in.

The Salesman, Tracy, was prompt, thorough and realistic with his estimate. We decided to use Tallon because we had a good experience with them 3yrs ago to replace windows in the breezeway of our 50's ranch. The crew of Two removed all the old Aluminum trim and gutters and replaced 27Ft. of old facia and they did a careful and thorough job that took 3 days (48ft. house plus attached breezeway and garage) We have nothing but praise for Jay and his helper as the house looks great! A separate crew came after the job was completed and installed the gutters. Also well done.

The guys were on time and put the full-court press on our roof. We have many plants around the house so they set up guards and no plants were damaged. They originally said the job would take two days but that evening they asked us if they could work late and finish in one day. They set up lights and by 11pm they were done and on their way. Even though they did their clean up in the dark I could only find a handfull of scraps around the house next morning. Very impressive. Several friends and neighbors have used Tallon and all have been happy with the resulting work.

From start to finish I have no complaints about Tallon Roofing. The gentleman who came out to give me the estimate was professional, prompt, courteous and took the time to explain everything thouroughly and answer all my questions. One of my stipulations was that I needed the roof done ASAP, from the time I signed the contract on 04/25/11 to roof installation on 05/02/11 was only one week! Signed on a Monday, the shingles were delivered that Friday and roof was in place on Monday! The workers arrived promptly at 8:00a.m. and by the time I left for work around 9:00a.m. the old roof was already torn off of my house. Two of my neighbors told me that they were completely finished by 1:00p.m. I met the Tallon representative at my house at 4:00p.m. to conduct my inspection, the roof looked great and the clean up was awesome, no pieces of old shingles were to be seen anywhere, by bushes, windows and siding were not damaged, I did find a total of maybe 10 nails in the expansion joints (between cement slabs) on my driveway and my neighbors driveway but obviously that is to be expected. Overall I'm very pleased with my entire experience with Tallon Roofing, I would recommend them to anyone (and have already) and would gladly use them again.

The project went very well. They were very helpful and did the roof replacement while I was at work. I recommend them highly.

We had a complete tear off and new roof installed while I was home recovering from knee surgery. The guys were great, while it was noisy, they were kind, nice to us when we had to take our dogs our (who didn't enjoy the banging), and the roof looks great. They removed a retratable awining and replaced it also.

The columns look great, they also replaced the siding under the porch and reattached the top to the underside of the porch so my door doesn't hit it when I open it.

Had gutters and leaf guards installed on the house. When they arrived for the job my husband wasn't home to show them where the marks were to place the downspouts and the boys couldn't see them. I was recovering from surgery and out of it and didnt' know. As a result the downspouts were all installed incorrectly. Afterwards when my husband came home he was very mad and showed me where the tape marking where the downspouts were to go was and it was clearly marked. I think the installers should have seen this if I could see it and I didn't have any clue and they did it professional. We called Tallon and they sent the guys right back and they immediatly fixed the problems. i was happy with the result in the end but to get there was a hassle.

We used them for our old house and they were fantastic. Professional, great workmanship, wonderful clean up, no problems with water leaks, etc..

Everything went very well. The salesman was great. They came out and gave us an estimate before they did the job, and they came out and we signed the paperwork on a Friday and they came out on Monday and did the work. It was only about a week's time from making the initial sales call and signing the papers to have the work done.

It was all great. Beginning with the salesman and ending with the installation of the gutters. All were professional, did their jobs, cleaned up after their work was completed, good follow-up by company to make sure all was OK and that I was satisfied with their work. I was very satisfied and would highly recommend this company.

I was very satisfied with the work done. And the price was reasonable, I found that they were probably the best rate on the market for that area. I highly recommend them for the responsiveness and their quality of work. They were a very congenial and easy going crew.

They had put new shingles on a roof for me many years ago. They had done a good job back then and are still doing a good quality job today. The clean up was excellent and I would highly recommend them.
