professional, friendly, clean. Although they told me I was out of their service range, one of their technicians lives near me and came to provide the service for which I purchased a coupon.

It went just fine. it is 85 degrees and my air is now working and so I am a happier human as a result! My technician arrived, put footies on over his shoes (which I appreciated) and then proceeded to check the inside unit in the basement. He provided some suggestions on the filters I am currently using versus what I probably should be using for my type of unit and also noted that my humidifier was currently set to where it should be for winter. He asked me for a Sharpie so he could write on the humidifier where the setting should be during which season. I liked the suggestion since the action I need to take is written directly on the humidifier. He then proceeded to look at the outdoor unit. He found that the capacitor compressor needed to be replaced. He did that and then explained to me what was done. My air is working and I am very thankful for that.

The technician was very professional and informative. He didn't try to sell me new equipment/services, but just addressed the problem we were having with our A/C unit.

It worked well. It's working fine. It keeps me cool. There was no extra charge. Everything went fine. The guy was very clean and did well. He found one thing that might need replacing in the future but, I decided not to have it done at this time. It's not absolutely necessary as it still works. It was just a little relay that looked a little old to him, I guess. He didn't push and cleaned up well. He called when he was coming and he was within the time-frame allotted.

Very professional and the installers went the extra mile in everything they did. They were punctual and stayed until the job was completed. For a few weeks after the installation the office would call to see how things were working and if there was anything else they could do to assist me.

Don was prompt and thorough. He checked in the basement and then went outdoors to clean and check all parts of the A/c. I would recommend tis vendor to others.

We purchased an air conditioning tune-up knowing full well that we might need a new unit. McQuade came out and confirmed it by discussing it with us and showing us why. We were losing quite a bit of cold air into the basement due to leaks in the duct work and the unit itself needed new parts. Since it was over 20 years old, we opted to go with a new unit. We didn't want overkill and were able to purchase a unit that was just the right size. They came out as scheduled and had the entire job done in less than a day. I did call them back out to do some additional sealing around the new duct work...just to be sure we had minimal or no leaks. I did have to call them to remind them to come out, but other than that, all went well. They sent someone out to do the additional sealing, and he had me check to make sure I was OK with the results. We were very happy with the work!

I was in the market for a new furnace and AC. Of all the companies that gave me a quote, McQuade was the only one that actually looked at my AC unit and recommended that I not replace it (old one is in good working order, newer ones are overpriced and still in beta). For the furnace, they took my needs into consideration and didn't try to sell me up to something I didn't need or want. A week later, my furnace actually totally crapped out. McQuade was booked, but they called a couple of guys from other jobs to come out the next day to rough in the furnace I wanted so we would have heat for the weekend. They didn't even charge me! The job was finished the following Tuesday including the AC tune-up.

The tech came within his window, although I would have preferred that he come closer to 8 than to 10 AM... Otherwise it went well. Explained how my particular furnace was integrated with my A/C unit, added some coolant to my A/C tower, cleaned it out... Also gave me a sales pitch on getting a new furnace. Price quote sounded good.

The workmanship by the installers was good, but the sales person was as bad as you can get. He lied to us and spoke in riddles. The owner of the company is good and cooperative, however. The price was good as well. I had a manufactures rebate and the company said that was included in the price. The rebate was advertised $1200.

Great job. City inspector stated it was one of the best installations he had seen.

McQuade Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Refrigeration are prompt and curteous. They are reliable and comparable costwise. They show up when they say they will. They have worked on other properties for us in the past one year.

It went very well. They said how long work would take and they were accurate. Very efficient, quiet (considering removing a furnace!) and clean. I was able to ask question and to check progress of work . Workers were very nice as well. Office was responsive as well.

Overall it went smoothly. I called for an appointment which was scheduled at my convenience. Mark called ahead to let me know what time he would arrive. He did the job and was on his way.

My husband and I recently purchased a home with a 45 year old boiler for our hot water baseboard heating system. We didn't know anything about how the system worked as we were accustomed to a gas forced air furnace. We discovered that one of the pipes attached to the boiler was leaking so we called McQuade. Within just a few short hours they sent out a technician who inspected the boiler and informed us that we needed to replace the pressure relief valve and air purger. The technician was Mark Gordon and he not only performed the work but spent the time to explain to my husband how the boiler works, what we need to do to maintain it, what our options are for replacement when the time comes and was over-all extremely accommodating. He was honest and very informative. Because of the service Mr. Gordon provided, we will definitely use McQuade again and would highlly recommend them to anyone with heating/cooling needs - they are fantastic!

Mcquade came out to replace the water heater - we wanted a tankless to replace our broken water heater. Brian Mcquade had mentioned this unit to my husband several years ago. I think our service guy Mark didn't know too much about the tankless - I had to ask some leading questions to get the kinds of answers I was looking for. He certainly did not try to talk us into this unit. Mark came out the next morning to install it. Ours is pretty complicated (we also have a circulating hot water system) and it took him all day (9-6) and it still wasn't done. We have hot water, but they are sending the master plumber to finish the job. Overall the work is good - I suspect it's a case of just not having lots of practice installing these tankless units yet. They did well and were able to come out right away and diagnose the problem and fix it. They also noticed that I had an issue with my boiler and they were able to fix that too; so that was pretty good.

Our A/C had been out 6 days (started Friday before Labor Day weekend, had problems with another company not performing) and I called McQuade Thursday AM for a replacement quote. They had a man (Mike) on site that afternoon, looked the system over and ne proposed a new Trane to replace our 25 year old carrier. He said they could get the unit installed the next day, and we signed up on the spot. The crew arrived the next day around noon, were very professional and did their work quickly and efficiently. We were cool again by evening. All in all a very satisfying experience.

They were very efficient and got the job done in a day. We had a problem with some air conditioning in an upper room so they came back one-half-hour after the call to check out the duct work and everything was working fine. The following day they sent flowers thanking us for the business without giving them any more money; so they were very good.

The job went pretty well, with a few hang ups. McQuade worked with us on scheduling and financing to work within our time frame and budget. We were originally told that the job would take one day (which seemed rather short), but it took a day and a half. On the first day we did have our furnace replaced, the air unit and new meter and thermostat installed. The crew did have to come back a week later to install the new duct, and fix a few aesthetic issues. There was also a slight issue with permits (if I wanted them, which I did, and when the would come out to approve the work), but it was all worked out. The only issue will may have in the future is where they placed the A/C unit. Because of the salesman's suggestion, we placed the unit on the side of the house. We found out that is against township code. In the end the location was approved, with approval from our neighbor.
