We offer a wide variety of products to enhance the comfort of your home or business including furnaces, air conditioning systems, boilers, air cleaners, humidifiers, on demand hot water systems and programmable thermostats. Our HVAC technicians work on all brands of furnaces, air conditioners, boilers and commercial refrigeration units. Our plumbing operations are overseen by our on-site master and journeyman plumbers, offering all types of residential and commercial plumbing. Description of Work: The sales person, Barry, was really very thorough, took his time to evaluate my heating situation. He took time to explain the differences in furnaces, and how they work. He did not pressure me into getting extra things I did not need. The techs Mike and Steve were on time, friendly and cleaned up. I really appreciated this company, and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone in the market for heating and cooling.

Description of Work: Replaced a leaking water heater. Called @ 11am and a technician was at my home @ 2:30pm. He removed and replaced the tank. Pointed out a flue configuration installed by the builder that was not code and brought it into spec. Sweated all the joints and discovered the original shutoff valve had failed after using it several times while emptying the original tank. The technician, even though it meant much more additional work, replaced the valve at no charge.

Description of Work: I was hiring them to do a air conditioning check, it also included a furnace check, the attendant tore my furnace apart, and broke the mount for motor/fan unit in the furnance, this was in August so I didnt need furnance attention I wanted AC attention, he then told me I needed a new furnace, he also drilled a hole in the side of my furnance to tell me that the heat exchanger was cracked and deemed unsafe to use, tried to sell me a new furnace, I since have been using my furnance, it makes allot of noice cause of the mounting bracket being broke, which it was not before they came to my home. The furnace did not make noise before they came and tore it apart, I was disspointed, called them to return, but they came at an unspecified time and never returned. I think they are using Angies list as a way to scam and get people and convince them they need more then what they are being hired to do. If I ever need a new furnace I will not be contacting this company to do the the job, I think they are shady, and messed my furnace up by doing things that they did not need to do. Drilling a hole in the side of my furnace to tell me that the exchanger was cracked....is a hoex

Description of Work: Cleaned and checked the furnace. The tech also gave some tips on things I could check over the heating season, which I really appreciated. They installed the system 8 years ago and the service was great. It continues today.

Our existing central air failed during an extreme heat wave. McQuade responded within 24 hours. When it was determined that we required an entirely new heating and cooling system (due to age), the McQuade technician repaired our existing equipment to the best operational state as was possible so that we had some AC while we waited for our new system to arrive. He did this a no charge. McQuade Heating and Cooling provided prompt, curtious, and extremely proffesional service. Due to an emergency in the area involving an industrial facility, our install was delayed. However, once the situation was contained, McQuade sent multiple crews to our home to insure that our install was completed on-time. The owners spoke with us directly on several occassions and took excellent care of us as customers. The price was in-line with other quotes we recieved. However, the equipment we bought is of higher quality (Trane) as compared to the offerings of other companies. I can say nothing but good things aboud McQuade Heating and Cooling.
Description of Work: McQuade removed our old Furnace and Central Air. They intstalled a New Furnace, New Central Air Conditioning, New Coolant Lines, New Furnace Venting and Exhaust, New Wireless Thermostat, New Air Cleaner, and a New Central Air Humidifier.

I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. I HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY STAYED UNTIL THE JOB WAS DONE AND IT TOOK THEM A COUPLE HOURS. THEY ARE GOOD AT THEIR WORK AND THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.
