Went well. Prompt arrival, professional service, explained everything prior to work.

Installer arrived timely, was professional and neat, completed job very quickly. He readily answered electrical questions that were unrelated to the job he performed. I will definitely utilize this company again.

Went great! All the work was done in an hour. He was so quick that he asked if there was anything else we could have him do while he was over so we got our hour's worth.

The service turned out excellent. They were easy to work with, and they did what I asked them to do. Everything worked out fine, and the price was right. I would certainly use them again.

They did a good job however, I think the equipment that I bought was faulty. The fan they installed did not work. I bought it at Lowe's. I thought maybe it was the installation. I took it down myself and changed the fan it it ended up working. They came out and did the work some time in the summer.

Actually I'm going to replace and have them use somewhere else but they are still functioning. It was for a little more light there and also the people coming up the stairs can see what they are doing. They were in and out and they did a good job almost in record time. I was signed on to Angie's List at that time and they had one of these ads or specials and I think I could use that so I signed up and they were right here in about 3 weeks. It took them half an hour for the job. I don't think the price was that good, I just took advantage of it because that's what I wanted but it's probably an average price in getting it done.

The young man arrived on time, appointment was for 9 am. He got right to work and found the problem . He stated I was lucky because the part that was need in the truck. He completed the repair and also replaced two wall outlets for me. It was a pleasant experience. He also answered my questions about additional work I am thinking about doing helping me make up my mind on what I am going to.

Job was preformed with professionalism.

They rerouted some wires, and fixed an outlet. It went really good.

It was excellent. They did a great job. They were reasonable. They were very good electricians. I am a handyman. They did a good job and I would use them again.

This is the second time we used Macson. They did a superb job as usual. They are very responsive from the initial call through the completed job. I would use them again and I highly recommend them.

This was the second time I used Macson for electrical work. The first job was a troubleshooting one, so they did not have much work to do that time, but I was impressed with the time they spent determining the problem and executing a temporary fix. When I was ready to take permanent measures, I had accumulated several electrical projects and I was glad to have them back. Bobby was the technician who had come the first time and I liked him so much, I requested that he come back. He did an excellent job, and I'll definitely use them again for my residence and my rental property.

Moved into a newly constructed home two years ago; realized that in our landing that we made an improper choice in installing a flushmount light on an 18 foot ceiling -- difficult to change a light bulb at that height. We then purchased a new pendant light which allowed us to have the light we need with the practicality and ability to actually change the light bulb easily. Macson sent out a rep, made the assessment of requirements and time involved. Reasonable estimate was provided, scheduled a date to replace and move other fixtures about to create the lighting effect we desired. Showed up on the scheduled date, completed the work promise, very happy with the results. Highly recommend. Part 2 I have to revisit my previous rating of overall A for Macson, it is now a C+. It turned out that the first visit did not accomplish all that was required. A dimmer switch was improperly installed which resulted in my significant other getting shocked when she tried to install a second dimmer per instruction from the first Macson electrician who visited to do the work. The appropriate thing should have been for that electrician to say 'I will come back out to install the second switch when you get it' rather than tell the customer that it is easy to install and this is how you do it. Macson did send out a second electrician promptly when we noted the problem and I called them. He properly diagnosed the problem: turned out that the first electrician did not properly diagnose the situation which led to improper installment of an improper dimmer switch...overall incorrect situation. Second electrician did the job correctly but we were also charged for this service -- don't think we should have been charged at all because the reason why the second visit because of the improper actions of the first visit.

It was a good experience. Macson sent someone out to evaluate the work needed and then they emailed me the estimate a couple days later. I then called them and set up an appointment. The electrician showed up on time and did the work promptly. He was polite and courteous and did a good job. We're very happy with the work and will call them whenever we need other electrical work done. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

From the initial quote to coordination of the final inspection, they were excellent. Price was right in line with expectations, the quote itself was explained very clearly, they were patient as I made my decision, and were prompt in their services and explanation. A very seamless changeover. While they always did call me back, I did find that I often got a voicemail when I initially called the office - probably because they are busy based on the great work they do! The one big plus is that the technician allowed me to watch him work and allowed me to ask some questions as he went along. It was a nice opportunity to learn about the work, not just have it done. I appreciate that immensely.

Installed a breaker device on the main electric panel to protect against an electrical surge. If there is a surge - the new device is destroyed and a new one must be installed.

Price includes parts and labor for a whole house surge suppressor.

He installed a whole house circuit protector.

Replaced 1 security light fuse-I have 2 security lights on my condo 1 on front porch 1 on side patio Provider had to replace flood light fuse on my porch light.Provider went to Lowes to buy new filter--I paid him $40.00 for this service.There were problems with Service Provider--They do outdoor landscape lighting not residential lighting.This is reason I would not use again.

This is my second time using this provider (first time it was MAC Electric). Both experiences have been outstanding. The most recent service was scheduled quickly and exactly on the date and time I needed (very accommodating office staff). Bobby arrived promptly and we walked through work to be completed. Bobby then prepared the work areas by putting down tarps to prevent as much clean up for me as possible. The job was preformed professionally and Bobby treated my home as if it was his own. The first job I had completed was just as professional. I highly recommend their services and I will only call this contractor for another electrical work in my home. Mason Electric came out about the time that was scheduled. The electrician called prior to coming out to make sure that I was home and available. The electrician was very professional and explained what he was going to do. It only took about 15 minutes for him to install the whole house surge protector. Once he completed installation he explained how it would work and what to look for when it was triggered and needed replacement. The electrician cleaned up after he was finished with the installation. The only thing I did not like was the Mason Electronic's business hours are limited.

We originally contacted Macson to install recessed lighting in our basement, which we were in the process of having finished. Debbie came out and gave us an estimate, and mentioned during the walk-through that we were probably going to have to upgrade our smoke detectors and sockets as well, due to the building codes in Troy. The inspector hadn't said anything to us about that, but we were very glad she was so knowledgeable, because we ended up having to do just that! Since we had no openings in our panel, it required us to replace the panel as well. Macson was with us every step of the way, pulled permits, and walked us through all the inspections, from rough electrical to finish. They were always able to accommodate our schedules and work with us and our contractors, and I can't recommend them enough!!

I purchased the whole house electrical inspection deal. Overall the experience was good, but there were some issues. | |After I purchased the deal, it took over a week for them to get back to me about setting up the appointment for the inspection. The inspection itself went very well, I felt that the electrician that came out was knowledgeable and did a thorough job. She told me that I would receive the inspection report within a couple days. It ended up taking over 3 weeks and having to call them multiple times before I got the report. The report ended up being a simple bullet point list without much info, rather than a detailed report like I expected. | |We recently had some work done that was found during the inspection, but I decided to go with another company because it was so difficult to get in touch with Macson. I might give them another chance in the future.
